For the focal point of my card, I used the Rocket Ship Shaker die and added the Stargazing Clay Confetti inside. If you would like to see a video showing how I made the rocket ship shaker, watch the video below.

For the background of my card, I used the Layered Shooting Stars Stencil. I used Distress Oxide inks in the following colors: Ripe Persimmon, Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean, Prize Ribbon, and Squeezed Lemonade.

Using the Stitched Stars dies, I die cut three stars from white cardstock and added the Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade ink to the top. I added the Distress Oxide Mustard Seed ink to the edges of the stars to add some depth. I added the stars to the stenciled background and added the rocket ship on top.

For the sentiment, I stamped one from the Outer Space stamp set and die cut with a Stitched Torn Rectangle die.

Dad Box Card

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and it’s time for another box card! This time, we’re going geometric with adorable cats for Father’s Day. I started hot foiling the first part of my sentiment using the Hot Foil Large Dad Plate in a blue foil and used the Dad Shadow Die to cut it out. I also cut out two additional dies in white cardstock and glued all three layers together.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

I also cut the box card base from the Scallop Box Card Dies out of blue cardstock and I will cut out the scallop pieces after creating my own pattern paper. I stamped the medium sized hexagons from the Decorative Hexagons stamp set in a repeating pattern with different blue and teal colored inks. I then cut out each of the scallop pieces I needed from the Scallop Box Card Dies.

The new Baby Animals stamp set has adorable little critters with a bigger critter which will make an adorable Father’s Day card. My kiddo is really into cats right now, so I thought using the cats nestled together from the set would be perfect! I colored in my image with Ohuhu Art Markers and used the Baby Animals coordinating dies to cut it out.

For the rest of my sentiment, I cut Sentiment Strips Dies out of blue glitter, teal and white cardstock and stamped “it’s your special day” from Sentiment Strips: Birthday stamp set in blue ink. I layered all of the strips together to partner with my “Dad” hot foil sentiment. I assembled the box together and added all of my scallop pieces on the box card and popped up my sentiment pieces to my card base.

I added my cats to the center of the box card, but I did cut a second cat to adhere to the back of the cat when I glued it to the box card to give it more stability. I hope you like my take on a Father’s Day box card and I kept it a little more clean and simple this month.

Let me know what you think and if you’re enjoying this series!

Congrats Graduation + Video

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video on the Pretty Pink Posh YouTube channel today. I have a nephew who is promoting from Middle School to High School and he’s having a ceremony this year! I thought this would be a fun time to use his school colors to make a graduation card for inspiration for you today.

Pretty Pink Posh: Congrats Graduation + Video

I started with doing lots of die cutting! I used the Graduation Cap Shaker Dies, the second largest Stitched Torn Rectangle Die, and a couple dies from the Big Celebration Cupcake Dies out of white, red, glitter red, blue and glitter blue cardstocks. My sentiment is hot foiled in sparkly red foil using the Hot Foil Congrats Script plate and I used the Congrats Shadow Die to cut it out.

Pretty Pink Posh: Congrats Graduation + Video

My graduation shaker was assembled with a piece of acetate and the Celebration Shaker Beads and I adhered it to my Stitched Torn Rectangle Die white background. I assembled the party wands and added those beneath the graduation cap and popped up my “Congrats” sentiment on top of them.

This panel was adhered to my white, A2 card base with thin foam adhesive. I then added the different confetti pieces around the panel and adhered them to the card base with liquid adhesive. Honestly, this card turned out pretty USA looking – so you could probably replace the graduation cap and sentiment for something a little more patriotic if you celebrate the upcoming holiday!

Don’t forget: today is the last day to save 20% during the Memorial Day sale.

SHIPPING NOTE: Orders placed during the Memorial Day sale will be processed as quickly as possible. Please note that First Class Shipping is not insured and tracking is not always available. If you would like your package to be insured in case of loss or damage, please choose Priority Mail.

Celebrate Graduation Shaker

Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here. As we step into the season of graduations, from the adorable ceremonies of pre-K to the monumental milestones of high school and college, many of us will be celebrating the achievements of our family and friends. Today, I’m excited to share a graduation card that I made using products the latest release.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

For my card, I used the color scheme of green and gold because those are my son’s college colors. Using the colors of the graduate’s school in the card is a great way to personalize the card.

I used the Graduation Cap Shaker die set as the focal point and added the Pretty Pink Posh Lucky Day Shaker Beads to the inside of the cap.

For the background of my card, I used the Layered Graduation Stencils. I inked the stencil with the following inks:

Catherine Pooler Ink, Wintergreen
Catherine Pooler Ink, In the Park
Scrapbook.com Ink, Metallic Gold

I cut the stenciled background down to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ so that it would fit on an A2 size card.

I used the graduation certificate from the Graduation Mug Additions and I used the Large Celebrate Shadow die set for the sentiment.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a great day!

Easy Grid Cards w/ Dies + Video

Hi Crafty Friends! Carly here with a super easy grid card design using the new Big Celebration Cupcake die set!

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

I absolutely adore cards that use a grid pattern of die cuts or stamped images but I didn’t really think it was something I could do because I hate to measure and I’m just not very precise, LOL!

Pretty Pink Posh: Easy Grid Cards w/ Dies + Video

Here are the Distress Oxide colors I used:

  • strawberries: Saltwater Taffy, Abandoned Coral & Lumberjack Plaid
  • leaves: Cracked Pistachio & Twisted Citron
  • blueberries: Shaded Lilac & Blueprint Sketch
  • ants: Black Soot
Pretty Pink Posh: Easy Grid Cards w/ Dies + Video

BUT I’ve found that if I’m intentionally a little crooked here & there and add a few extras, I can make a really easy grid that feels precise enough! Add in a little sentiment from the Floral Hearts and Build A Cupcake sets and these cards were finished.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Baby Onesie Shaker + Video

Hi friends. It’s Lisa Mears on the blog today sharing a shaker card I made using the Onesie Shaker dies.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

For the background of my card, I used the Layered Onesies Stencils. I inked the stencils with Catherine Pooler inks in the following colors: Chiffon, It’s a Girl, Wintergreen, and Oh Boy.

The focal point of this card is the baby onesie. I used the Onesie Shaker dies to make the onesie into a shaker. This die set can also be used to make a onesie that is not a shaker — it’s simply up to you! Be sure to watch my video to see how I put the shaker together.

I die cut the shapes with white cardstock and inked them up with the same ink colors I used in the Layered Onesies Stencils. I added the new Spring Breeze shaker beads inside the shaker. I love how the color of the beads match so well with the ink colors I chose.

For the sentiment, I used one from the Sentiment Strips: Occasions stamp set and die cut it with the Sentiment Stripes dies. I trimmed the stenciled background to fit inside of the largest Eyelet Rectangle Die and added it to an A2 size card base.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Have a great day!

Mother’s Day Box Card

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video on the Pretty Pink Posh YouTube channel today. We’re continuing with our box cards – this month for Mother’s Day!

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

I started with stenciling as I’m using a paste that will need time to dry. Using the Layered Argyle Stencils on white cardstock, I used Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide for the (A) stencil, Fruit Salad Summer Interference Ink for the (B) stencil, and Rosy Cheeks Lunar Paste for the (C) stencil.

While that was drying, I used the same inks to emboss resist the “MOM” sentiment from the Mom stamp set with white embossing powder. When done, I used the Mom coordinating dies to cut out the word. I also stamped the floral images with an alcohol marker friendly black ink and colored them in with OLO markers. I used their dies to cut them out and will use these images to decorate the box card.

The Scallop Box Card Dies were cut out of pink cardstock for the base and the scallop dies were used with the stenciled background. I adhered the box card together and created my secondary sentiment with pink glitter and yellow cardstocks with the Sentiment Strips Dies. When my sentiment strips were added to the box card, I added my “MOM” and floral images to the box card.

You can follow along in today’s video and I hope you had some floral fun with me today for the Mother’s Day box card. I’m already brainstorming how to make a Father’s Day box card for next month!

Mother’s Day Card featuring Die Cuts!

Hi everyone! Rebecca here. One of the many things I love about Pretty Pink Posh dies is that they often cut an adorable image AND faux stitched or pierced lines. Combining different Pretty Pink Posh dies with these additional elements makes creating a pretty Mother’s Day card with tons of interest so quick and easy!

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

Start with the background with the Pierced Leafy Vines Plate Die. Grab a mother’s day sentiment stamp from the Flower Garden stamp set. Stamp the sentiment with plenty of room around it so you can die cut the sentiment with an Eyelet Circles Die.

Use other colors of cardstock to cut out several Stitched Butterflies Dies and flowers from the Spring Mug Additions Dies. Adhere the layers of the flowers together and then pop up the butterflies and flowers around the Eyelet Circle sentiment. Adhere some of your favorite confetti mix to add some shine! And that’s it.

I think you will be amazed when you see how much interest these dies add! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Two Spring Butterfly Cards + Video

Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears on the blog today. I’m going to be using the Stitched Butterflies dies from the newest release to make two cards. I knew I wanted my butterflies to have more than one color on their wings so a great way to achieve that look is to do some ink-blending.

If you would like to see how I made my cards, watch my video below or on YouTube.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

First, I die cut the Stitched Butterflies with Scrapbook.com Mixed Media White Smooth Cardstock. The smooth white cardstock, coupled with the Ranger Distress Oxide inks, made the ink-blending so effortless. The smooth and creamy texture of Distress Oxide ink allows for seamless blending, creating a beautiful gradient from one color to the next one.

The Distress Oxide inks I used for the butterflies in my first card include:

Top Butterfly: Tumbled Glass and Squeezed Lemonade
Middle Butterfly: Kitsch Flamingo and Squeezed Lemonade
Bottom Butterfly: Shaded Lilac and Kitsch Flamingo

I used the Layered Butterfly Floral Stencil for the background of my card. This stencil has a mix of butterflies and flowers which I inked in several different spring color Distress Oxide inks including Shaded Lilac, Kitsch Flamingo, Squeezed Lemonade, Saltwater Taffy, Cracked Pistachio, and Tumbled Glass. I even ink-blended two colors of ink for the butterflies in the stencil using a very detailed ink blending brush to get into the small areas of the stencil.

I added the sentiment “Happy Spring” from the Sentiment Strips: Easter stamp set and die cut it with the coordinating dies.

For my next card, I used the Pierced Leafy Vines Plate for my card background. I die cut it with Scrapbook.com Mixed Media White Smooth Cardstock and added the following Distress Oxide inks: Saltwater Taffy, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, and Tumbled Glass.

I added an Eyelet Rectangle die to the top and then added two ink-blended butterflies. I topped it off with a sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Easter stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!
