Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video today. I was inspired by some birthday patterned paper I had in my crafty stash to make colorful balloons on a birthday card!
I started with die cutting the Pierced Stars Plate Die from a piece of confetti patterned paper to be the background of the card. Then I cut out different pieces from the Party Balloons Dies to make six different balloons – the traditional and star balloons. I layered different pieces together to create a striped, star balloon and a balloon with star details. There are also balloons cut from holographic paper to create the look of mylar balloons!
Once the balloons were ready, I also had the balloon strings from the Party Balloons Dies in a dark blue cardstock, I layered them with liquid glue and foam adhesive in 1mm and 2mm thicknesses on to the Pierced Starsbackground.
My sentiment is stamped from the Birthday Train Stamp Set to create “Hooray It’s Your Day”. I stamped “Hooray” on white cardstock in blue ink and used the Birthday Train Coordinating Die to cut it out. “It’s Your Day” is stamped in the same blue ink on cardstock cut into a banner from the Sentiment Strips Dies.
I added the sentiments to the card, under the balloons, with foam adhesive to finish the card! I hope you enjoyed today’s process video for a fun and relatively quick and easy party card.
Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am back with a fun shaker card to share with you all.
I started my card by making my card panel with the Layered Balloons stencil set. This is a three pack of stencils that layer together to create a fun background. Next, I created my frame with theScallop Frame die. I attached a piece of vellum behind the frame to soften the background and added Shaker Strips around the edges to create depth for the shaker. I filled the shaker with a mixture ofMint, Strawberryand Purple Shimmer Confetti.
Once my shaker was assembled I set it aside and began working on my birthday images. I used the Party Balloons, Party Hats, andBirthday Candles die sets for the images. I die cut the pieces from white cardstock and ink blended each individual piece with dye ink. I used liquid glue to assemble the images and added a few white paint splatters for a little added detail. I then used the Sentiment Strips: Birthday stamp set and Sentiment Strips die set for my sentiment. Lastly, I attached everything to the top of my shaker with foam adhesive to finish my card.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Hello crafty friends! Davina here to share a bit of Luck with you. I just can’t get over how cute all the new St. Patrick’s Day products are. One of the first projects I made was this St. Patrick’s Day Cupcake themed card.
I embossed my sentiment onto a black banner cut from the Sentiment Strip Die Set, and added a bakers twine bow to the top corner. I finished this off with the addition of some clay embellishments from the St. Patrick’s Day clay confetti.
Thanks you for stopping by and I hope that you check out all of the fabulous inspiration from the incredible Design Team.
Hello everyone, June here! Today I’m sharing a cute birthday card using some products from the new birthday release and some older products.
I started my card by stamping my images. I used stamps from the newly released Birthday Trainand Party Time sets along with the locomotive from Valentine Train and one of the monkeys from Monkey Friends. I tried to keep the color palette very neutral with some accents of pink and purple.
I wanted to keep my background quite simple not to distract from the busy scene I stamped out, so I decided to use the Eyelet Rectangle Dies to make an extended panel. This gives me a bit more space to work with. I did this technique by rolling it partly through my die cutting machine twice and trimming the edges to fit my card base. I adhered a second panel onto it that I blended some Milled Lavender Distress Oxide on. I also splattered some Dusty Concord Distress Oxide onto it to make it a bit more interesting.
For my sentiment I embossed the ‘hooray’ from the Birthday Trainset on the same pink paper that I used to back my panels onto. I also stamped a sentiment from Sentiment Strips: Birthday to fill up some empty space.
I adhered everything onto my card base using glue and some foam tape and the card is finished!
Isn’t the new release just amazing? I always love products that are birthday themed cause those are the ones you’ll probably end up needing the most. I had a blast creating this card so I hope you enjoyed reading about it :)
Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am back with a new video today. Last month I made a Valentine’s Day Box Card and I was inspired to create one for St. Patrick’s Day as well!
I started with all of my die cutting of the Scallop Box Card Dies and Stitched Shamrocks Dies from different shades and paper types of green cardstock. My Scallop Box Cardbase was die cut from a solid green cardstock, the scalloped pieces from white cardstock, and the Stitched Shamrocks from a mix of glitter, shimmer and solid light green cardstock.
Using the Layered Shamrocks Stencils, I ink blended different shades of green ink using the Pinkfresh Studio Over the HIlls Ink Cube Bundle onto the scalloped die cut pieces from the Scallop Box Card Dies. Once I was happy with the shamrocks, I also splattered on some metallic gold watercolor and set them aside to dry.
Next I colored in the pot of gold, gold coin, rainbow and shamrocks from the Lucky Stamp Set with alcohol markers, then used the Lucky Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I also stamped the “Lucky” sentiment and solid shamrocks in dark green ink on white cardstock, and “You’re So” with the same ink on a Sentiment Strip cut from light green cardstock.
I love making scene cards and theScallop Box Card die set makes it so easy to create a fun little scene inside.
I started by coloring the stamps from the Penguin Pals stamp set and the Party Time stamp set using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in the following colors: Turquoise Green, Bright Yellow, Yellow, Light Carmine, Light Gray, Cool Gray 6, and Lilac.
Next, I used the Layered Balloons Stencilto create a background of balloons. I inked the balloons using the following Distress Oxide inks: Shaded Lilac, Salvaged Patina, Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick, and Hickory Smoke.
Once I finished inking the stenciled background, I die cut it with the layering dies from the Scallop Box Card. I stamped the sentiment from the Party Time stamp setonto the rectangular layering piece that goes in front of the box card and then added all of the layering die cuts to the card base. I wanted it to look like there were balloons floating throughout the sky.
Finally, I added the stamped images to the box card to create a fun little birthday scene. I love using this Scallop Box card die setto create little scenes with stamps. It makes it look so dimensional too!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a great day! Lisa Mears
Hi friends! It’s Zsofi here today and I am sharing a fun birthday cake shaker card with the new release. I love interactive cards, but I tend to be afraid making them. The new Cake Shaker die setmakes it a breeze and no more thinking is needed what to fill it with, since we have the Shaker Beads!
First I die cut the Cake Shaker die 6 times: once from blue violet cardstock and 5 times from cream cardstock. As I did not cut apart the cake die and the window, I was sure that all the cakes will have the windows in the same place. (If I cut the dies apart, I usually use some washi tape to hold the dies together while I cut all my pieces). I used liquid glue to adhere the layers together. I placed a piece of acetate under the blue layer before mounting it on top of the cream layers.
Then I die cut the background using the new Pierced Stars Cover Plate and a light grey cardstock. I also cut a bunch of candles from cream cardstock and stacked 4 layers together for each candle to have some dimension. On the flames I used Copic markers.
I filled the cake with Berry Smoothie Shaker Beads and gently adhered the background to it. I love the sound of the beads shaking, it is mesmerizing for me!
For the sentiment I chose a line from the new Sentiment Strips: Birthday stamp set and slightly curved it to fit on a banner which I cut from pink cardstock with the Love From Afar die set. I used pink ink as I wanted to add some pink birds which I cut with the same die set. Aren’t they cute?
I wish you liked my card and got inspired to make some easy shaker cards. I cannot wait to make a bunch of this simply design with different colours to boost my birthday stash!
Hi Crafty Friends! Carly here and I’m so excited to share my latest birthday card with you! It’s a super easy interactive card with the adorable Pretty Pink Posh ValentineTrain & Birthday Trainstamp sets!
This card is super simple on the outside but inside there’s a rainbow birthday train surprise that pops up!
I love interactive cards but to make them myself, they have to be simple! LOL! This one couldn’t be easier! To create the pop-ups you don’t need any special supplies, just need a way to cut cardstock like a paper trimmer, craft knife or even scissors!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this project inspired you!
Hello crafty friends! Barbara here and I am so happy to have a chance to share a this card that I made for Pretty Pink Posh’s 10th birthday celebration!
This project was made using the adorable Birthday Candles die set. I die cut them from colored cardstocks using two tones for each candle and paper pieced them together using liquid glue. I die cut the flames from white cardstock and added stickles to create a sparkly shine.
You can customize the colors to fit the recipient, or to use up your paper scraps!
I adhered the candles to a panel that I created using the Birthday Words stencil. I used white cardstock and added white texture paste over the stencil for a subtle textured look to really showcase the candles.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!
