You Are Dino-Mite!

Hey friends! Elaine here to share another project featuring the adorable dinosaurs from the June release. I’ve fallen completely in love with these sets, and I hope you like this card and tag combo!

Pretty Pink Posh: You Are Dino-Mite!

I created a white 5” x 5” card base from heavyweight white card and set aside. The front panel was cut from more heavyweight white card measuring 4.75” x 4.75”. Using the largest circle die from Let’s Party coordinating dies I cut a window from the front of the card panel and stamped the sentiment using a brown pigment ink. To create the hills to sit behind the circular opening I used the curved die from Stitched Borders 1 Dies and used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add colour and dimension. I secured them to the back of the card panel at different angles to help give the illusion of desert landscape.

Pretty Pink Posh: You Are Dino-Mite!

Taking the card base, I applied a light layer of Stormy Sky Distress Ink directly to the base to give the scene some sky; being careful not to go too near the edges. The front panel was secured centrally to the card base with foam tape. Lastly, I secured the dinosaurs and palm trees from Dinosaur Friends and Dinosaur Additions with liquid adhesive to the scene.

I’d previously colored a big batch of images so I knew I had enough to create a tag to go with the card.  I cut the large tag from the Scalloped Square Tag die, three times.  I then used the same curved stitched border die to create two hills.  Masking the scalloped edges, I applied Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the hills and Stormy Sky to the base tag. All three layers were then secured together with liquid adhesive.

Pretty Pink Posh: You Are Dino-Mite!

To finish the tag, I glued on my dinosaur and palm trees, punched a hole, added some ribbon and voila….we have a matching card and tag set that will put a smile on anyone’s face!

Thank you for stopping by!

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 3

Good morning! It’s Lindsey here today with a fun project combining some fabulous products from Pretty Pink Posh and Thermoweb. Using Deco Foil Transfer Sheets really adds a fun “wow” factor to this otherwise simple card.

Affiliate links are used for products that are not sold in the Pretty Pink Posh Shop.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 3

For my project I used the Deco Foil Transfer Sheets in Jade, Deep Blue, and Magenta. I pulled out my ink pads, found matching colors, and then lightly blended on the ink using the Layered Butterfly Stencils. I blended ink on just the first two stencil layers and on the third and final layer, I used Deco Foil Transer Gel Blanco. This layer shows the details on the butterfly wings. The Transfer Gel takes about an hour to dry, so while I waited I worked on a second foiling project. (More on that to come!)

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 3

Once the gel was dry, I cut small squares of the Jade, Deep Blue, and Magenta transfer sheets and laid them on top of the dried gel.  Next, I placed the entire card inside a folded piece of parchment paper and ran it through my laminating machine.  You don’t have to have a fancy laminator for this.  Mine is “as old as the hills” as my grandma would say (I think it’s about 15 years old!), and it did the trick just fine to adhere the foil to my card.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 3

I kept the card layout simple, so the background could really shine…hee hee (pun intended ;) ). I simply placed my butterfly background on top of a light blue card base, trimmed a flag to ground the sentiment, and cut a circle using the Birthday Circles Coordinating Dies

I added just a touch more foiling to my card by cutting the Hello Script die out of Deco Foil Peel and Stick Toner Sheets and running it through the laminator with a Deep Blue Deco Foil Transfer Sheet. It adds a beautiful shine that compliments the background nicely.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 3

And that’s it my friends!  These products were so easy and fun to work with, and I can’t stop smiling at the beautiful shine on my card.  I hope you’ll give them a try!

And if you are interested in seeing the second project I made while the Transfer Gel Blanco was drying, you can pop on over to my blog HERE.  I’ll give you a peek below.

Loads of Love

Hello Friends! Raquel here today sharing a fun and colorful project featuring the new Layered Construction Trucks Stencils released on June 16th.

Pretty Pink Posh: Loads of Love

I have always loved layered stencils and these ones are no exception. These trucks are so much and unique to “play” with!!! I started off by choosing my color combo, something that really takes me some time as I’m always drawn to use all sorts of shades and in the end I need to narrow down my selection. So for this first design, I chose to use Saltwater Taffy, Squeezed Lemonade and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks along with Black Shoot for the wheels and Gathered Twigs for the sand.

I’m amazed at how easy these came together. Each layer adds more depth and detail to the final design and the alignment is super easy.

Pretty Pink Posh: Loads of Love

I wanted to add some dimension to these tracks so I die cut some of them using the Construction Trucks coordinating dies which worked like a charm with some trucks.

Finally I just white heat embossed the sentiment Loads of Love from the Construction Truck Stamp Set and added some hearts from the Love Letters Clay Confetti.

Pretty Pink Posh: Loads of Love

Lastly I trimmed this A2 front panel to 4x 5 ¼ and adhered it to a heavyweight white card base.

I hope I gave you some ideas with this design. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 2

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 2

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am so excited to be sharing a project for the Pretty Pink Posh and Therm O Web collaboration. My card uses the Flock Transfer Sheets from Therm O Web to add a fun texture to my card panel.

Affiliate links are used for products that are not sold in the Pretty Pink Posh Shop.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 2

I started my card by using the Layered Letters stencils and dye ink to create my card panel. I lightly sprayed the back of the stencils with Pixie Spray, and used a blending brush to lightly add ink to both stencil A and B.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 2

Next, I used stencil C (the hearts) and added Deco Foil Transfer Gel across the stencil with a palette knife. I let the gel dry until it was clear and then ran it through my laminator with a Flock Transfer Sheet in White Latte. The flock adheres to the gel and you are left with a fun velvety texture on your card panel.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 2

Next, I used the Sending Love set for my stamped images and sentiment. I stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers and used the Sending Love coordinating dies to cut them out. I then attached the images and sentiments to my card panel with foam adhesive. I love that Therm O Web carries the jumbo rolls of foam adhesive in both white and black. The black is perfect to mount behind a sentiment strip so you don’t see the white edge. I have been using their foam adhesive for a little over a year now and I am very happy with its strength, dimension and price.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 2

I hope I inspired you to try using some of the fun products that Therm O Web offers. Come back tomorrow for another day of inspiration!

Enjoy your day, Dana

Now for giveaway… To enter, all you need to do is leave a comment here and on the Therm O Web blog. Winners will be announced on June 26th. Good Luck!

Congrats New Driver!

Hello, Gemma here. My card today features the fun Layered Cars stencil set and Across the Miles stamp set. I think they are perfect for a ‘congratulations on passing your driving test‘ card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Congrats New Driver!

I began with Layer C of the Layered Cars stencil, blending distress oxides in the following colours:

  • Stormy Sky, Cracked Pistachio, Abandoned Coral, Peacock Feathers, Squeezed Lemonade, Hickory Smoke.

Next, Layer B with the following colours of distress oxide ink:

  • Hickory Smoke, Mowed Lawn, Candied Apple, Black Soot

With the last layer, Layer A, I added some of the details with distress oxide ink:

  • Hickory Smoke, Black Soot, Carved Pumpkin
Pretty Pink Posh: Congrats New Driver!

I cleaned the stencil, then repositioned it over the background. I then applied Nuvo Glacier Paste in Quicksilver for the wheel hubcaps, lights and handles. I covered any areas of the stencil with washi tape where I didn’t want to add the paste. Remember to clean the stencil well after using any kind of paste.

In a few areas of the background, I stamped some fun sentiments from the Across the Miles stamp set. Once the paste had dried, I trimmed down the background and added it to a 5.25” square card base. I left space underneath for a die cut silver card stock Stitched Strip, and a Congratulations sentiment from the Simple Sentiments stamp set.

Pretty Pink Posh: Congrats New Driver!

Next, I stamped a car from the Across the Miles stamp set and coloured it with copic markers: B93-97, C5, R22, Y11, BG70 BG000.

I die cut the image with the coordinating die and added two layers behind for dimension. I adhered it on to a die cut silver card circle, using a die from the Halloween Circles coordinating die set. I then added them both to the card to finish.

Pretty Pink Posh: Congrats New Driver!

I hope you enjoyed these cards. Thank you for stopping by!

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 1

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 1

Hello Friends! Welcome to Pretty Pink Posh and Thermoweb Collaboration week. Raquel here and I’m so happy to create some projects combining products from these companies!

The first item that came to my mind when I planned my projects was the Toner Sheets. These are simply perfect to create quick and easy die cuts with foil. I decided to create a colorful card with the Spring Frame die and the Deco Foil Transfer Sheets Rainbow Shattered Glass.

Affiliate links are used for products that are not sold in the Pretty Pink Posh Shop.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 1

First, I used the Spring Foliage die set and one of the Toner Sheets trimmed down to 4 ¼ and 5 ½ to die cut the frame. Then I turned on my Minc Machine and set it to temperature 3.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 1

Once the machine light turned green, I prepared my sandwhich with one sheet of printer paper folded in half and a piece of 5 ½ x 5 ½ cardstock over which I place the diecut frame and a piece of deco foil piece cut to the same size with the pretty side up.

I run this sandwich through and just like that I got myself a gorgeous Spring Frame with this gradient colors.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 1

To add some volume to my project, I decided to die cut some more flowers using the Spring Foliage die set with toner sheets and the same deco Foil sheets. I also dry embossed an A2 panel with the Floral Background Stencil.

Finally, I added my sentiment. I used the Hello Script die with Black glitter cardstock and placed some Sparkling Clear Confetti Sequins.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 1

For my next project, I wanted to create a card filled with colorful flowers around a geometric sentiment. I instantly grabbed my Hi Shaker Die and die cut several pieces of this beautiful hexagon frame out of white cardstock.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 1

Then I die cut some more flowers out of some Toner Sheets using the Spring Foliage Die set.

I placed all these die cut toner flowers on my sandwhich and cut some deco foil pieces in diferents sections so each flower was different and making sure they followed the same gradient look of the Foil itself.

Then I used the Butterflies Background Stencil to dry embossed an A2 size panel.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 1

I decided to trim a hexagon that could filled the front Hi Shaker die, so the back of this front die cut piece was completely flat. My idea was to create a visible contrast between the background and the back of the sentiment. I wanted a smooth surface to add some color to this backdrop

I arranged my flowers around the Hi Shaker die onto the A2 dry embossed piece and before adhering the sentiment, I ink blended the edges of the backdrop of my hexagon hi shaker front panel following the color pattern of my flowers.

Pretty Pink Posh + Therm O Web Collaboration Day 1

I also die cut some greenery out of white cardstock and placed some Sparkling Clear sequins here.

Hope you like these projects! I can assure you I had so much fun creating these cards using the Toner Sheets and the Deco Foil. I love to use my products in different ways and the products from Thermoweb were just gorgeous!

As always, I do hope I was able to inspire you. I also want to encourage you to check all the projects that will be shared on Pretty Pink Posh Blog. There will be tons of inspiration for you this week!

Happy crafting!

Day 3: June Blog Hop

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 3: June Blog Hop

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE //  If you missed Day 2 CLICK HERE

Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here. Today I’m sharing some quick and easy cards using some brand new three layer stencils from Pretty Pink Posh. I love using three layer stencils on my cards not only because of all of the detail they add when used with various inks, but also because they make for an easy card front.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

For my first card, I used the Layered Construction Trucks Stencil with the following Distress Oxide inks: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot, Vintage Photo, Squeezed Lemonade, Tumbled Glass, Candied Apple, Mowed Lawn, and Carved Pumpkin.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 3: June Blog Hop

For the sentiment, I used the scalloped frame die from the Crafty Days coordinating die set as well as the sentiment from the Construction Trucks stamp set. Since I didn’t want to hide any of the colorful stenciled background, I stamped the sentiment onto vellum.  I stamped two shovels from the Construction Trucks stamp set and colored them up with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush. Markers. The colors I used were Gray, Bright Yellow, and Emerald Green.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 3: June Blog Hop

For my next card, I used the Layered Cars Stencil with the following Distress Oxide inks: Candied Apple, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, Black Soot, Hickory Smoke, Scattered Straw, and Prize Ribbon.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 3: June Blog Hop

Since I didn’t want to take away from the colorful stenciled background, I stamped a few of the sentiments from the Across the Miles stamp set randomly within the background without covering up any of the vehicles.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 3: June Blog Hop

For the inside of the card, I stamped several cars from the Across the Miles stamp set and colored them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in the following colors: Carmine Red, Blue, Emerald Green, Bright. Yellow, Yellow, Light Blue and Gray. I die cut the images using the coordinating dies and then lined up the cars at the bottom of the card panel. I added a sentiment to the inside.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 2: June Blog Hop

If you missed Day 1 CLICK HERE

Hello crafty friends! Raquel here and I’m so glad to be here today sharing a super fun project featuring the recently released Across the Miles stamp set.

This set was love at first sight. The moment I saw these car I thought about vibrarnt and super colorful cars filled with flowers!

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 2: June Blog Hop

This project came together very easily. First I colored several  two cars, the pick up truck and the bus using copic markers.

For the bus I used: Y11, Y13, Y15

For the peach car I used: R20, R21, R22

For the pick-up truck I used: YR12, YR15, YR16

For the pink car I used: RV66, RV55, RV52, RV02, RV00

Next I choose a butterfly from the Mom stamp set and some flowers from the Spring Flowers Stamp set.  I colored them with the same colors of the Cars, Pick Up Truck and Bus.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 2: June Blog Hop

I wanted to add some additional color to this design, so I decided to ink blend the areas where my cars and tracks would be added. I choose Distress Oxide Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Abandoned Coral and Picked Raspberry. I applied these colors very lighty trying not to overlap them.

Next up I stamped the sentiment from the same set and adhered all the cars, flowers and butterflies using double sided foam adhesive and some Metallic Silver Confetti Mix sequins.

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a box card using a combination of new stamp sets from the June 16th release- Dinosaur Friends Stamp Set and Dinosaur Additions stamp set. These dinosaurs are just the cutest and they are so fun to color.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 1: June Blog Hop

For my card, I first assembled the 3D Pop Up Card Die from Mama Elephant in white cardstock with 2 grassy inserts and 1 hill insert. The grass colored by ink blending Mowed Lawn Distress Ink Oxide and the hill js inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink Oxide. I cut the box panels in white cardstock and inked the top portion with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink Oxide and the bottom with Mowed Lawn. For the bottom panels of the box, I used patterned paper in brown for a nice contrast.

Pretty Pink Posh- Day 1: June Blog Hop

Next, stamped and colored the images from the Dinosaur Friends and Dinosaur Additions stamp sets. I then cut them with their coordinating dies. I adhered the images onto the inserts of the box to make an adorable scene. I used a strip of acetate to adhere to the Pterodactyl. I stamped the sentiment onto the front panel before foam mounting the T-Rex. Lastly, I decorated the side and front panels with the extra images that I had colored.

Sneak Peek: June 2022 Stencils

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am excited to be back showing you a sneak peek of the new stencils coming to Pretty Pink Posh on June 16th.

This release includes five new stencil sets: Layered Construction Trucks, Layered Cars, Layered Roads, Layered Dinosaurs and Dino Dig. The Layered Roads and Dinosaur Dig stencils make great backgrounds and coordinate perfectly with the stamp sets being released this month too. I created two cards to share with you today so let’s get started.

Sneak Peek: June 2022 Stencils

I started my card by making my card panel with the Layered Dinosaur stencil. This is a three pack of stencils that layer perfectly to create the cutest dinosaur panel. I used dye inks and finger daubers for all of my blending.

Sneak Peek: June 2022 Stencils

Next, I trimmed my panel down and attached it to an A2 card base. I then used the new Dinosaur Friends stamp set to stamp my images. I colored them with Copic markers and used the new Dinosaur Friends dies to cut them out. Lastly, I used the Spring Circles die set to create my frame for my sentiment and stamped images.

Sneak Peek: June 2022 Stencils

My next card uses the new Layered Cars stencil set

Sneak Peek: June 2022 Stencils

The layered Cars stencil pack is also a three pack of stencils. I once again used finger daubers and dye ink to create my card panel. Each layer lines up on top of the previous layer to give the vehicles such fun details.

Sneak Peek: June 2022 Stencils

Once I trimmed my panel down I added three coordinating strips that had been die cut with the Simple Strips die. Lastly, I used the new Across the Miles stamp set to stamp my sentiment and finish my card.

Sneak Peek: June 2022 Stencils

Thanks for joining me today. I can’t wait to see what you create with these fun new products! Join us tomorrow as we reveal all of the new products and the bundles go up for sale.
