You should have arrived from Carissa’s Blog, but if you get lost, there is a complete line up list so you can stay on track during the blog hop HERE.

For this project I used Altenew Garden Treasure stamp set and Garden Treasure die set.  I also used Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 2 dies and Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.

To begin, I first stamped the images from Garden Treasure stamp set I only used the lined images and colored them with Copic Markers. After coloring I then used the Garden Treasure die set to die-cut each images.

Next, I distressed my card base with Tim Holtz Distressed Ink pads in Evergreen Bough and Crushed Olive. Then, used one of the scallop border from Stitched Borders 2 dies. I die-cut the top and bottom of the panel.

Next, I spattered some white gold watercolor paint from Gansai Tambi Starry Colors. Then, once it dried I adhered the flowers with foam tape for dimensions.

Here’s the final look of the card.

A Blog Named Hero Celebration Hop

Hello, friends!

We are excited to be participating in a blog hop hosted by A Blog Named Hero. They are celebrating their fifth anniversary and since we have previously sponsored their challenge, they invited us to join in the festivities this weekend for their two day blog hop packed full of prizes and inspiration!

Today the talented Jeanne has created a special card for this occasion. I always adore the way Jeanne creates vibrant and fun backgrounds and this card is no exception. She used the Stitched Borders 3 die set and die cut the wide strip in a variety of colors. Imagine all the fun color combinations you could do with this concept!

Celebrations to me mean bright colors, confetti and balloons. The star confetti was made with stars from the Mini Tags die set cut from gold glitter paper. If you don’t want bulkiness or too much height, these little die cuts are a great way to get some sparkle onto your projects.

The little girl and balloons are from the new Friends Forever set and the sentiment is from the Everyday Greetings set. These sets are quickly becoming a favorite for many and it’s easy to see why- they are just so fun and versatile!

The little bow at the top is part of the Twine and Bows die set. This is such a unique set and if you like the look of bows, but maybe aren’t the best at making perfect bows, or again, don’t want to add bulkiness to your card, this set is a MUST HAVE!

Your next stop is Simone Naoum’s blog

If you get lost on the blog hop, head over to the A Blog Named Hero blog for all the links.

Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello everyone, Joni here sharing a card for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop using our new Friends Forever stamp set and the mugs from the Christmas Friends stamp set.

Today is the start of the Spring Coffee Lovers blog hop, and Pretty Pink Posh is one of the sponsors of this fun event. We also have a giveaway here on the blog as well, so make sure to read all the way to the bottom of this post to find out how you can win some goodies!

To begin, I first drew a cup image using my pencil.

Next, I used my Gansai Tambi watercolor to create some very simple flowers for my cup.

Next, I watercolor the cup. For the card base I watercolored the background using Tim Holtz Distress inks in Tattered Rose and Mustard Seed. Then stamped the sentiment from Friends Forever stamp set.

Next, I die-cut the whole card panel using the new Stitched Notes dies and added some foam tape on the frame for added dimension. As for the girls on this set they were colored with Copic markers. To finish the card, I added the new Friendship Sequins Mix.

Combining Stamp Sets

Hello Everyone, Joni here sharing another way to use the Easter Blessings and Easter Friends stamp set as a non – Easter card. For this project, I also used the Bee Friends and Everyday Greetings stamp sets. If you missed the March release, the Bee Friends stamp set were part of the free gift if you spend $80 and if you spend $125 you also get the die set, really cool deal.

To begin I first gather all my images and colored them with Copic Markers. I also used the coordinating dies.

Next, distressed my card panel with Tim Holtz Distress inks in Scattered Straw and Evergreen Bough. Next, I die-cut my panel with the new Stitched Notes dies. Then, stamped my sentiment “get well soon” from Everyday Greetings stamp set with Color Box in Ocean pigment ink. Then, added the Clear Embossing powder on top of the sentiment and heat set.

I just want to show you the color after embossing, really nice light aqua.

Next, I added some gold splatter using Gansai Tambi Starry Colors on the distressed panel. I also added the bee trail image from the Bee Friends stamp set. For added interest and another way to use the Daffodil Seed Beads, I put a chunk of Multi Medium Matte on the bottom of the panel and adhered the seed beads there. Just wait for a few minutes because the glue should dry.

To finish off the card I added some Sparkling Clear Confetti, Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix and Sparkling Clear Flat Sequins in 6mm.

I hope you enjoyed! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Until next time.

Watercolor Lilies + Giveaway

Today we’re in for a special treat. Jeanne is on the blog sharing a sweet card and we’re participating in a mini blog hop with our friends on the CardMaker blog, along with sponsoring a giveaway in this post!

Spring is in the air and everything is new again! Are you checking the new releases in the store? It’s fun and fresh and certain to make you want to start creating! I’m playing with the new Easter Blessings stamp set today!  It’s a set of three stamps, and there are coordinating dies to make cutting a breeze!

Today I’m showing the Easter lily stamp. It wouldn’t be Easter without them!  Our church always has hundreds of lilies on the altar – the sight and smell is amazing!  It’s traditional for me to buy one for my mom every year too! I was so tempted to color up this pretty image in pink – like a Stargazer Lily, but decided the traditional white was the way to go (this time anyway!). I snuck in a little hot pink on the pot so my color lust is satisfied.

I made a simple ombre wash background for the potted lily.  I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink directly on the watercolor paper and cut the panel with the new Stitched Notes Die.

The Stitched Notes die has stitching on the inside and outside of the die cut line.  I really love the size of the die cut!  It’s perfect for an A2 size card and leaves just enough edge around the sides to let your colored or pattern papers peek out!

I wanted to repeat the ombre watercolor wash colors on those peeking edges so I created a panel with three shades of aqua.

Some Sparkling Clear Sequins are like dew drops for our pretty flowers!  This image brings back lots of great memories and has me pining for one of my own.  Until they are back in season I will be satisfied with this pretty stamp!

As we mentioned earlier, we’re taking part in a mini blog hop and we’re the last stop. Here’s all the stops:

Product Release Blog Hop- Day 2

If you missed yesterday’s blog hop post, click here.

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s amazing hop and are ready for day 2. Today we have more talented designers and special guests for you and I have a feeling you’re going to be blown away with their creations.

We have a special treat- a fun, easy-to-follow tutorial by Heather showing how you can use both halves of a die cut piece to make two cards with an entirely different feel!

Shall we get started? First off – I paired up the large rectangle from the brand new Stitched Notes Dies and the Storybook 5 die. These are a perfect fit together to build a shaker element – and then save the inside pieces for the second card!

I stamped and colored the same girl from Friends Forever with my Zig markers to coordinate with the pattern paper I chose. Don’t you love how just changing the colors gives them an entirely different feel? I then die cut them with the coordinating Friends Forever Dies. I also stamped my sentiments from Everyday Greetings the card on the left I did on the small white panel, the card on the right I did in the smaller window directly on my pattern paper.

I added acetate to the top portion of the window on the right hand card, added a double layer of foam tape, and filled it with the sparkly and beautiful Friendship Sequin Mix (a Limited Edition Mix with a portion of the profits will be donated to Compassion International – LOVE!)

The other card I embellished with some flat Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix – one of my new favorite embellishments! I adhered the girls in their places, then feeling that they needed something more, I added a coordinating rose in each of their hands, also from Friends Forever.

You’ll notice on this card that I adhered the white panels with foam adhesive, and also added the girl with foam adhesive – this made the perfect amount of dimension on the card.

On the second one, since I used a double layer of foam tape to hold all the sequins in my shaker, I attached the girl directly on the front of the shaker – I didn’t want this card to be too thick and bulky.

I love to make shaker cards – but I also love a clean and simple card. This is a fabulous way to make one of each with a minimum of effort as well!

Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1

Hello, sweet friends!

It’s time for our two day Product Release Blog Hop for the March 2017 release. Many of you have already placed orders, but for those who were wanting for more inspiration, today and tomorrow the design team and special guests have all sorts of inspiration to share!

Today’s cute creations were made by Suzy, one of our newest designers. She has a knack for creating vibrant creations and her coloring skills are amazing!

My first project uses the Easter Friends Stamp and Die Set along with the new Scallop Squares Tag Dies. I watercolored the larger tag with a soft blend of pastel colors.

I stamped the images with a natural color ink and watercolored each image. I then added details and outlines with glitter pens and a White Uniball marker. I added some lavender sequins from the 4mm and 6mm Fresh Garden Sequin Mixes. The For You sentiment is from the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set. I punched a hole in the top of the tag and tied some pink twine in the opening. This tag would be really cute tied to an Easter basket.

This pocket card uses the Easter Friends Stamp Set and Die Set. I used one of the brand new die sets for the background called Stitched Notes Dies. I watercolored the outside of the die-cut border with yellow watercolors and the inside of the frame with pink watercolors. I die-cut the stitched pocket in the center of the inside piece and added a small pocket to the top left.

I stamped all of the images with a natural color ink and watercolored them. I outlined them and added details to them with glitter pens. I added some sequins to the bottom of the card using the 4mm and 6mm Fresh Garden Sequin Mixes. I tucked a $20 bill into the pocket of the card so it can be used as an Easter gift.

For those joining us for the blog hop, I wanted to let you know that this month we have a special gift offer for orders over $80! The Bee Friends stamp set will be automatically sent with orders over $80 this month. In addition, if your order totals over $125, you’ll get the coordinating dies too! This stamp set will be available for purchase in May 2017, but for those who qualify, you’ll get these items two months before anyone else! These are while supplies last (I did order quite a bit, but cannot guarantee they will last through the end of the month).

Pretty Pink Posh + Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop

Pretty Pink Posh + Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop

Hello, friends!

If you’ve been following Pretty Pink Posh for a while, you know that last year we did an epic collaboration blog hop with our friends at Altenew. We had so much fun teaming up with them that we had to do it again, but even BIGGER!

Today I have the amazing Yana Smakula sharing her take on bringing Pretty Pink Posh and Altenew together on one beautiful holiday project. Let’s see what she’s created…

Pretty Pink Posh + Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop

When you mix supplies from two great companies you end up having fantastic results! To create the card I’m sharing here I used several dies sets from Pretty Pink Posh (along with a few sequins) and a stamp set from Altenew.

I started working on this card by stamping the poinsettia, holly leaves and pine from the Poinsettia and Pine set several times onto watercolor paper using waterproof ink in black. I knew I wanted to have a dimensional flower, so I made sure to stamp poinsettia twice to be able to layer it and have actual physical dimension on my project. I used distress inks for some quick coloring, although you can use whatever coloring medium you prefer.

Pretty Pink Posh + Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop

Next I used a few dies from Pretty Pink Posh and created a base panel for my project. I cut several panels out of patterned paper and combined them together by using border dies from the Stitched Borders 2 and Scallop Borders sets. I also heat embossed a beautiful holiday sentiment from the Sketchy Landmarks set onto this patterned paper using gold embossing powder.

Pretty Pink Posh + Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop

To create a placeholder for the Holiday floral arrangement I die cut scallop oval out of gold foil cardstock and patterned paper using Scallop Ovals Dies. My poinsettia was arranged on top and I also stamped several pine needles in black directly onto the patterned paper panel.

Pretty Pink Posh + Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop

To frame everything I die cut the large Scallop Frames out of brown patterned paper and foam mounted it over the background panel to add dimension to this project. Lastly, I foam mounted my panel onto a light gray card base and embellished my card with the Peridot Mist sequins and Clear Droplets.
