It’s time for the Product Release Blog Hop for the May 2016 release. Many of you have already placed orders, but for those who were wanting for more inspiration, today the design team and special guests have all sorts of inspiration to share!
Today we have a special treat- a card by new PPP designer, Jeanne. I simply adore her style and as you’ll see from this card, she is super creative!
The bright pink cardstock was cut using the Stitched Borders 4 die set and made to look like curtains. How creative is this?!
Look at the creative way she used the branch and leaves from the set- so genius! I love that she stamped/ die cut some of the leaves, but on some leaves, she just used the die cut. To finish off the scene, she added a sprinkling of the Summer Flowers Mix. These little flowers go with the leaves perfectly!
In this photo you can really see the stitching detail that goes around the Storybook dies. It’s such a simple element, but it adds so much to your projects!
Ready to hop along and see LOTS more fabulous inspiration with this release?
PRIZES: be sure to leave comments on each stop. I’m giving away 2 $25 gift certificates to two random comments left before May 16, 2016 at 11:59 PM PDT. I’ll be announcing the winners next week, so be sure to return and see if you are one of the winners!
I truly hope you enjoyed the blog hop. Be sure to leave lots of love for the design team and guest designers!
Thank you all for your enthusiasm about the new dies and sequins. I can’t wait to start seeing your creations with the new products in blog and social media land!
Welcome to the Altenew 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop where there are 3 days planned filled with fun and lots of inspiration.
You should have arrived from Elena Roussakis blog, but if you get lost, no worries, there is a complete line up list below so you can stay on track during the blog hop.
I’m beyond thrilled to share these two cards with you today, so let’s get started.
Here, I used this beautiful Vintage Roses set where I stamped several of the flowers using the Red Cosmos ink collection from Altenew which made it easy to create this layered look as all of the colors work beautifully together from light, med, to darker reds. For the leaves, I used the Green Fields ink collection.
Next, I created the background using the Shutter Cover Die by embossing it onto Sea Glass card stock and went on to create the shaker element using this adorable Stitched Duo 3 die from Pretty Pink Posh.
For this next card, I used this beautiful Window Frames Die from Pretty Pink Posh as it’s perfect to create different scenes.
Here, I used the larger window frame as my focal point as I wanted to use all of the (5) flowers from the Vintage Roses set. Again, using the Red Cosmos and Green Fields ink collection.
For the sentiment on this card, I heat embossed it using gold powder along with the Birthday Greetings set from Altenew as it has wonderful birthday greetings. For the final touches and to add some sparkles, I added some 4mm and 6mm Metallic Gold sequins
Let’s continue celebrating with your next stop at———> May Sukyong Park

A giant thank you to everyone who left comments on the blog hop and for the special guests and designers who shared their amazing inspiration. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
I am so excited to be blogging today and on top of that, I get to share a card I made recently!
Today’s card uses some of the brand new products in the Pretty Pink Posh Shop. I was able to sneak in some crafty time recently and boy, did I have fun! With the busyness of running the day-to-day things in the shop, I don’t often get to craft, but when I do, I remember why I started doing what I do. Give me a few days, Netflix, coffee and stamp supplies and I’m one happy girl!
When I haven’t crafted in a while (ahem, months), it usually takes a few hours to get the creativity going, but the first card I make usually is my favorite from the bunch. This card was the first card I made in the most recent craft session and I just love how it turned out.
I started off by using the Scallop Circlesas my focal point and paired it with the birdie trio from the Birdie Friends set. This set is my current go-to because you can use it for so many occasions and I really put a lot of thought into the elements and sentiments. I went the route of creating a mini scene and added the mini pink flowers from the Spring Flowers Mix.
To “frame” the mini scene, I paired the larger Scallop Square and made a shaker using my favorite Sparkling Clear Mixand added some of theSparkling Clear Seed Beads. That little addition really adds to the shaker element, since those beads are really small and delicate.
For the last finishing touch, I added two bows from the Twine and Bows die set using some silver glitter cardstock. It’s amazing how just this little addition really made the card feel and look complete. Plus, die cutting it from the glitter cardstock made the card even more special.
Did you know that it’s National Craft Month? My friends at Right At Home are having a week long link-up so YOU can share what you have made recently and possibly win a prize! I’ve donated a $25 PPP gift certificate and I know there’s lots of other fun prizes, too. If you’re hopping along in their blog hop, your next stop is Catherine Pooler!
I hope you all enjoyed my card and the blog hop. Thanks for stopping by!
It’s time for the Product Release Blog Hop for the March 2016 release. Many of you have already placed orders, but for those who were wanting for more inspiration, today the design team and special guests have all sorts of inspiration to share!
Before we get to their awesome creations, I wanted to share a card that I made using several of the new products. If you have followed me for a little while, you know that I’ve been obsessed with glitter cardstock (especially with the scalloped dies) and the new Scallop Circles are no exception. They make the perfect frame for images.
Just think of all the fun color combinations you could create using this card layout. Also, if you had little egg stamps, you could replace the flowers for eggs to create an Easter card!
Ready to hop along and see LOTS more fabulous inspiration with this release?
PRIZES: be sure to leave comments on each stop. I’m giving away 2 $25 gift certificates to two random comments left before March 14, 2016 at 11:59 PM PST. I’ll be announcing the winners next week, so be sure to return and see if you are one of the winners!

Hello and welcome to the last day of the 2nd birthday celebration!
Before I start with today’s post, I just have to say a truly heartfelt thank you. I have never received this many orders in such a short amount of time in the two years I’ve been in business. As many of you know, I’m a one woman business, so I’m working as quickly as I can to get all of your orders sent off. There’s a holiday on Monday, so that’ll allow me one extra day to get things packaged up for when the post office opens on Tuesday.
Today one the new PPP designers, Liz, has this darling card to share using several Pretty Pink Posh products. She used the dog from the Holiday Pals set and made him look oh-so-cute on this birthday shaker card. Just look at the little bow tie and hat!
For the focal piece, Liz used the popular Stitched Banner Duo 2 die set to create the shaker part of her card and filled it with the 4mm Sweetheart Mix. These colors work so well with the red card base and the pink panel on the front. To finish off the card, she used the Twine and Bows die set– a must have for all crafters! It gives the illusion of twine without the fuss and bulkiness.
You could create the exact same card with more neutral or boy themed colors. Imagine the new Share Kindness Mix of colors on this card- that would be adorable for this card design!

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh 2nd birthday celebration!
Today I wanted to share some photos from a creative session I did last year and it’s still one of my favorite posts to date. I’m a cardmaker at heart- I love being able to start and finish a project in one sitting- but every now and then, it’s fun to go outside the norm. These photos were from a session where we created birthday themed items and used sequins in non-traditional ways.
Balloons are always a must for a party and to make them extra special, we filled them with some confetti and sequins! It added a pop of color and really brought the whole theme of the party together.
This is just a small glimpse into the post that I created with these items. It was so much fun to create with the Pretty Pink Posh sequins on projects other than cards. Be sure to click the photo below so you see all the photos and products used.

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of the Pretty Pink Posh 2nd birthday celebration!
For those new to my blog or company- welcome! I opened the Pretty Pink Posh Shop as a way to share quality sequins and embellishments and now, two years later, I’ve branched out into steel dies and a handful of stamp sets. It’s been a crazy, wonderful journey thus far and I’m happy I get to share my products with you. Grab your favorite beverage and join us for this 3 day party!
Today one the new PPP designers, Heather, has this darling card to share using products from the brand new release, along with the FREE stamp set I’ll be giving away during this celebration for qualifying purchases, while supplies last.
The brand new Scallop Squaresare the latest addition in the scallop series and boy, they are so fun to use! Heather used both sizes on the card and with the light colored cardstock, you really can see how pretty and delicate the stitching and scallops are. *swoon*
For the sentiment, she paired it with the Stitched Speech Bubbles die set, which works perfectly with any kind of critter stamp set you may have. For the adorable bow on the birdie, she used the Twine and Bows die set, which gives you three perfectly shaped bows without fuss!
For a little dimension, Heather added a sprinkling of the Sparkling Clear Mix across the card. Our favorite adhesive for sequins is the Multi Medium Matte– it has a tiny tip and makes it easy to adhere even the smaller sequins. The last finishing touch is some Clear Wink of Stella, just to bring a little more shimmer to the birdie.
No party would be complete without guests, gifts and a party favor, right? During the celebration, save 10% off your order using the coupon code provided below. Also, if your order is over $60 (before taxes and shipping), you’ll get the not-yet-released Birdie Notes stamp set that Heather used on today’s card!
For the celebration, I brought along some very special guests to celebrate with me and I cannot wait for you to see what they made. Be sure to leave them lots of love- I’ll be giving away prizes to some comments left on their blogs!

Thank you for celebrating with me and being so incredibly supportive. Go hop on over to the other stops, be inspired by the design team and special guests and be sure to share this with your friends. I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow for day #2 of the birthday celebration.
Hello everyone, it’s Nina-Marie here today sharing a video tutorial with you featuring the Winter Friends stamp set and many other fun Pretty Pink Posh products!
As you may know, today is the start of the Coffee Lovers Holiday blog hop, and Pretty Pink Posh is one of the sponsors of this fun event! We also have a giveaway here on the blog as well, so make sure to read all the way to the bottom of this post to find out how you can win some goodies!
In today’s card, we are going to be focusing on stretching your stamps; you may recognize the Christmas tree in my card to be made from the cute little mug that is from the Winter Friends stamp set! This design requires only a bit of simple masking to achieve the same look I’ve created, and to see how easy it really is, I hope you’ll watch the video below!
To color the images, I used just a few shades of Copic markers, but you could use any color medium you prefer… I think this would be a fun design to color in a loose, watercolor style too, don’t you? If you are interested in the Copic colors I used however, they are:
YG0000, YG01, YG03, YG25 for the mugs
E37, E47 for the tree trunk
For the rest of the card, I used many different sequins from our shop to create some “ornaments” and I framed the entire design using the largest of our Scallop Frame dies… isn’t that gold glitter just gorgeous???
Want to win this stamp set, coordinating dies and the Scallop Frames? Enter below!
So I hope this card and video has inspired you to create some fun coffee (or other hot-mug beverage) themed cards and I’m so happy you’ve spent some time with me today… If you want to participate and link-up your creation, you have until December 18th to create and post a new coffee, tea, or cocoa related project to be eligible for one of the amazing prizes! Happy hopping!
