August Product Release Blog Hop
Hello, sweet friends!
It’s time for the Product Release Blog Hop for the August release. Many of you have already placed orders, but for those who were wanting for more inspiration, today is the day! I got a restock shipment of sequins and some of the die cuts and LOTS more dies are coming in my next shipment.
For today’s card, I wanted to showcase the Storybook 1 die set. When I was creating about six months ago, I came up with the idea of this die set series and I am so thrilled to finally be able to use the concept on my cards. (Yes, you read series… more Storybook sets are coming!) It’s fun to be able to have designated areas to put your stamps and sentiments, or create unique shaker cards with this die set. The possibilities are endless!
I love critter stamps, so I had a hard time deciding which ones I wanted to use on this card. I finally decided on the cute Playful Pups set from Mama Elephant, since I hadn’t gotten to play with it very much. These pups are so cute and the size of them works really well with the Storybook 1 die set!

This card was the very first that I made where I used distress inks on the background and it turned out well. My fingers were super messy afterwards, but the results made it so worth it! Love that you can use ink pads to create such fun backgrounds!
PRIZES: be sure to leave comments on each stop- Iâm giving away 2 $25 gift certificates to two random comments left before August 9, 2015 at 11:59 PM PDT. Iâll be announcing the winners next week, so be sure to return and see if you are one of the winners!
Ready to hop on over and see LOTS more fabulous inspiration? Each of these gals are extremely talented and I truly am honored they took the time to make something with the new dies and sequins. Their projects and cards are going to blow you away.
Thank you all for your enthusiasm about the new dies and sequins. It’s been so fun to fill your orders and see some of you already starting to use the new products on your cards. You truly make this journey a fun one and I canât wait to share more projects with you using these items in the near future!
