It’s time for the Product Release Blog Hop for the November 2015 release. Many of you have already placed orders, but for those who were wanting for more inspiration, today and tomorrow the design team and special guests have all sorts of inspiration to share!
Today I’m sharing a card using the adorable penguin, tree and little elements from the Holiday Pals set, along with the Scallop Frames die set. I chose more traditional colors for the card, but went a little crazy with the glitter “snow slope” and additions to the trees.
In the Holiday Pals set, there are several accessories you can use to dress up the critters. I used the bow to make one of the penguins a girl, but you could add earmuffs or glasses instead! To finish off the card, I used this darling sentiment from WPlus9. I thought it went with this little scene so well!

STOCK UPDATE
If you haven’t shopped the new release yet, be sure to head over to the Pretty Pink Posh Shop. I just did a restock on almost all of the new products and in the event that the products sell out (again), I already have more products on order!
I hope that you’ll join me tomorrow for the start of the blog hop- it’s going to be a fun one!
I am back with another inspiration using the new Pretty Pink Posh released products. For today’s project I want to show you another way to use the new Stitched Photo Frame dies. With the holidays fast approaching, I want to create something that we already have in our stash and just use it a different way. Using the Stitched Photo Frame dies I create a tag that can be hung on the Christmas Tree or just simply a tag for a present.
To begin I first assembled the pieces using the Stitched Photo Frame dies, I used large frame die to die-cut on a white cardstock and adhered a plastic sheet behind it. I also added the sentiment on the frames from Holiday Pals stamp set. Next I cut the same size white cardstock for the backing of the Stitched Photo Frame dies and distressed each one to add color for the background of the frame tag. I also added the hole on top of the backing using the circle hole shape from the Stitched Labels 1 dies.
Next, I stamped the images from Holiday Pals on a white cardstock and colored the images with color pencils except the ferns. I stamped the ferns using the Papertrey Ink in Spring Moss. After all the images have been colored I used the Holiday Pals die set to die-cut each image.
Next, I added the foam tape on each of the frame die like the picture below, this will help the sequins and the seed beads move around on the frame. I also added a hole on the backing of the frame and added the twine. Then I added some of the Sparkling Clearsequins and Silver Shimmer Seed Beads on the frame. Then I removed the adhesives on the foam tape and adhered the backing.
Here’s the look after adhering the backing on the frame.
Next, I adhered the die-cut pieces from Holiday Pals to finish off the tags.
I hope you guys enjoyed! Thank you so much for stopping by.
It’s an exciting day here in the Pretty Pink Posh studio- my big November release is now live in the shop! Whether you like sequins, seed beads, dies, or stamp sets, there’s sure to be a little something for everyone.
Stamp Sets // Coordinating Dies
Die Sets
Today I wanted to share my favorite card that I created this week using the new products. I started off with the new Scallop Frames dies (which are exclusive in the shop) and die cut it in gold glitter cardstock. Thanks to Carissa, one of the PPP designers, I am obsessed with this stuff now. Next up I knew that I wanted to use the Stitched Photo Frames, so I die cut a bunch in a variety of colors and decided blue looked best on this card.
Before I go on, I must say that the reindeer are by Lawn Fawn (because I’m a huge fan of theirs) and I wanted to show that my products work SO well with other brands. However, I did incorporate the adorable Santa hat and sentiment from the Winter Friends stamp set.
To finish off the card I used some patterned paper to mat my elements and added a strip of white cardstock die cut with the scallops from the Stitched Borders 3 die set. Adhere a few Sparkling Clear sequins and your card is good to go!
Tip: run your dies through in a variety of colors to keep on hand. It’s a time saver when you need a quick card and helps when you visually need to see which color(s) look best!
I wanted to make things super easy for you, so here are the direct links to all the new products in the Pretty Pink Posh Shop:
Thank you for your continued support, love and encouragement. Stay tuned- I’ll have videos, cards and a blog hop coming soon with these new products, along with many special guests.
Hello Everyone, Joni here and I am back with more inspiration using the new MiniTags dies that we love so much. Cake Pops anyone?
To begin, I distressed the corners of an A2 flat card panel. I only used three colors, but of course you can use more for your project if you need.
Next, I die-cut the round tag from the Mini tags die set for my cake top.
Then, I adhered some strip of white cardstock at the bottom of the point of the round mini tags. I also distressed the white card panel with Wplus9 Hayride dye ink and die-cut the right side of the A2 white panel with my all time favorite Stitched Borders 3 dies. I also added some watercolored stripe patterned paper on the card base.
The sentiment from Mama Elephant Make a Wish stamp set is stamped with Versamark Ink on a brown strip of cardstock and white heat.
Next, I placed the cake pop on top of the white cardstock panel and adhered with foam tape for dimensions. I also added some Golden Rod Stickles and White Opal Liquid Pearls on top of the cake pop to make look more realistic.
I also added some White Opal Liquid Pearl on the white panel and adhered some Marshmallow sequins in 6mm and 4mm.
For the sentiment I also added some foam tape for dimension.
I hope you enjoyed today’s feature! If you create a card similar to this one, or use Pretty Pink Posh on your projects, don’t forget to tag Pretty Pink Posh so we can see it too!

I was so thrilled to be asked as a guest designer for this special event for Mama Elephant. I’ve been a long-time fan of their stamps and I squealed in delight when I first saw the Reindeer Games set. These little reindeer are adorable and I had all sorts of fun creating with this set. I knew that a winter scene was a must, so I pulled out the little penguin from Polar Pals (a previously released set) and constructed this winter wonderland.
While this card may look intricate, it really all came together easily. I die cut the card base with the scallop frame from the Femme Frames/ Basic Set and then used the rectangle as my focal panel. For my background, I wanted a subtle design, so I did a bit of tone-on-tone stamping with the On Point Background set. Thanks to lots of glitter, I was able to achieve the snowy hills and then added my stamped images. To finish off the card, I added a few Sparkling Clear sequins, Wink of Stella on the animals and a couple metallic red sequins on the reindeer noses.
Thanks for stopping by- I hope this card inspired you with your upcoming Christmas cards. I’ll definitely be back with more cards using these new Mama Elephant stamps in the near future!
It’s time for the Product Release Blog Hop for the October 2015 release. Many of you have already placed orders, but for those who were wanting for more inspiration, today is the day! I have stocked up the shop with tons of sequins, restocked the die cuts and just in case any new dies sell out, there are more coming next week!
For today’s card, I wanted to showcase the die set I was most excited to release, the Mini Tags. There are five tag shapes, along with three mini confetti pieces in this set. The possibilities are endless! You can use these tags for gift tags, or you can incorporate them onto your cards, like I did.
I wanted to show off the tags in a unique way, so I decided to turn them sideways and use each tag to show a different stamp. For my card base I used my current favorite mini paper pad, Let’s Bokeh in the Snow. These colors are definitely my go-to this season. I love how whimsical they are and they just may have inspired me for an upcoming sequin mix…
I am one of the guest designers for Mama Elephant this month, so I was lucky enough to get the Reindeer Games set early. I think they look darling on the Mini Tags! I colored these little guy with my Copics and realized that the background was a little too plain, so I stamped the fun triangle border from On Point Borders onto each aqua panel. To finish off the mini tags, I die cut the bows from the Twine and Bows die set.
PRIZES: be sure to leave comments on each stop- I’m giving away 2 $25 gift certificates to two random comments left before October 18, 2015 at 11:59 PM PDT. I’ll be announcing the winners next week, so be sure to return and see if you are one of the winners!
Ready to hop on over and see LOTS more fabulous inspiration? We have the Pretty Pink Posh design team, along with four special guests sharing projects and cards today.
In closing, I want to share that my friends at Ellen Hutson are having a 15% site-wide sale today and tomorrow. The perfect time to stock up on holiday items, or maybe even some of the new Pretty Pink Posh products!
Thank you all for your enthusiasm about the new dies, sequins and droplets. You truly make this journey a fun one and it’s such a delight to see how you use my products. I can’t wait to fill more of your orders and start seeing your projects with these new products soon!
I’m back with another Halloween card- this one shows off the darling new Holiday Party Animal set from Lawn Fawn. They included so many adorable little additions in this set- it definitely is a “must have” in my book!
I wanted to start off with a lot of gray and black and then have a pop of color in the middle. Thanks to the squares in the Stitched Duo 3 die set, I was able to accomplish this look easily. You could use this idea with all sorts of colors and it would look great!
I’ve mentioned in previous Halloween cards that the Teeny Star Background from DeNami Design is one of my favorites. I love stamping it with black ink and creating backgrounds, or in this case, filling in some white space. I think it helps bring together the black from the card base and set the scene for a Halloween card.
To finish off the card, I decided to add some twine and a trio of sequins from the Sparkling Clear Mix. Notice the three sizes of sequins? That’s all in one mix, along with another larger size. It’s perfect if you’re just starting to collect sequins, or you’re a fan of the Sparkling Clear.
I purchased an extra set of the Holiday Party Animal and want to give it away to one of you, along with a pack of sequins! With these products, you’ll be set to create all sorts of fun holiday cards.
Be sure to mark your calendars for tomorrow, October 15th. I have a super fun blog hop that will showcase the new dies, sequins and droplets and I’m bringing along the design team and some amazing special guests, and there will be prizes! If you’re on Facebook, be sure to visit the blog hop event page HERE– there are two giveaways happening over there right now!
Hello there everyone! Joni here and I am back with more inspiration using your new Pretty Pink Posh dies. I am really am so excited for the new Decorative Tag 1 from the latest release.
To begin, I die-cut the inside scallop oval die from thePPP Decorative Tag 1 to create a background frame for my watercolor card base.
Next, I adhered the scallop oval on the card panel then watercolored the inside with Windsor & Newton Gold watercolor paint.
Here’s the look of the watercolored background. I also added the Wplus9 Holiday Hugs image that I colored with Copics and die-cut. The sentiment is also from the same Holiday Hugs, which was white heat embossed on a black piece of scrap paper.
Find the Holiday Hugs set at Simon Says Stamp HERE / Ellen Hutson HERE
Here’s the final look, I added some foam tape at the back of the die-cut image and sentiment for dimension. I also added the pretty new product from Clear Droplets in 6mm and 4mm, you guys are going to love this product if you have not ordered it yet.
Another view of the card.
