5 Days of Christmas Giveaways: Day 5

Hello, Gemma here today to share a card featuring the sweet Angel Friends stamp set. This set, along with the coordinating dies, are currently 25% off until December 16th.

I began by stamping images from the Angel Friends set and colouring them with my copic markers. I chose a simple colour scheme of B000, B00, and B02 for the dresses. I then cut everything out with the coordinating dies.

From a piece of white card, cut to a little smaller than my card base, I die cut the Storybook 2 die. Then on my card base, I added some tumbled glass distress oxide ink, keeping the ink heavier on the outside edges and blending out to white in the middle. This colour will show around the edge of the frame, with some lighter blue showing through the windows.

I layered my frame over the top of my card base, then added my images on top with foam squares.

To finish my card, I added some Sea Glass jewels around the sentiment banner. I also added some white and black gel pen details to the angels, and some clear glitter to their wings.

5 Days of Christmas Giveaways: Day 4

Hi everyone! It’s Lindsay here on the Pretty Pink Posh blog today with a card showcasing the newly released Penguin Pals stamp set and coordinating die set.

I started with ink blending my background using Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks. I kept the middle the lightest as I wanted the highlight in the middle to really make my images pop. I cut that down to fit on an A2 sized card front and then got to my stamping.

I stamped the penguin images from the Penguin Pals stamp set and coordinating die set using a copic friendly ink and colored them in using copic markers. I also used the igloo from the Winter Wonderland stamp set to contribute to my scene.  For the penguins I used C2, C5, and C8. For the scarf I used B00, B02, B06 as well as BG11, BG13, BG18. I used some B00 blended out with the colorless blender on the igloo to give it some dimension as well. I cut out all the images and critters with the Penguin Pals die set and Winter Wonderland die set.

I took out my vellum and stamped the snowflake images from the Winter Wonderland with Versamark Ink and heat embossed them with silver embossing powder. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies. Out of a piece of white cardstock, I cut out the larger oval from the Scallop Ovals die set and got to creating my scene.

I used a scrap of white card stock to create a snow drift in the background, then added in my images around that using foam tape. I adhered my vellum, heat embossed snowflakes with tiny glue dots. Finally, I stamped my sentiment from the Happy Snowman stamp set and the card was finished!

5 Days of Christmas Giveaways: Day 3

Hi Everyone, it’s Rina. I wanted to get into the holiday spirit by creating two holiday shaker cards using the new Tree Shaker Die and the Ornament Shaker Die.  I thought these would be perfect to showcase the new confetti mixes in Berry Bright and Winter Days.

Watch the video above   I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

First I colored my images in copic markers, I am using the Decorative Ornaments and Reindeer Friends stamp sets today.  Here are the Copic Markers used:

Brown – E70, E71, E74, E77, E79

Red/Pink – RV13, RV14, RV29, R27

Blue – BG000, BG02, B04

Gray – C3, C5

First I used colored cardstock in 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches to create my card front, I placed the shaker die in the middle to create the opening.  I am not using the die cuts made from the colored cardstock for this project because I will be cutting out the dies again but in silver and gold foil cardstock to create contrast.

I added the acetate (4 x 5 ¼ inches) to the back of the colored cardstock card fronts and adhered the acetate.  From there, I will use foam tape to create the shaker well.  I used the following sequins for the shaker bits:

Pink Card: Berry Bright Confetti Mix, Rose Pink Sead Beads, Mini Gold Star Confetti, Sparkling Clear Stars Sequins, Sparkling Clear Snowflake Sequins Mix

Blue Card: Winter Days Confetti Mix, Silver Shimmer Sead Beads, Mini Silver Star Confetti, Sparkling Clear Stars Sequins, Sparkling Clear Snowflake Sequins Mix

Once the sequins are in, I will seal the shaker with a 4 x 5 ¼ piece of cardstock.  I will adhere my gold and silver shaker die cuts to the front of the card on the acetate to finish off the shaker front. I adhered the images and embellished my card using more of the Sparkling Clear Snowflake Sequins and Mini Gold Star Confetti or Mini Silver Star Confetti. Adhere the shaker mechanism to your card base and finish off with a glitter brush pen.

I started by stamping images from the Decorative Ornaments and Elegant Holly stamp sets on 80lb Neenah White paper using Memento Black Ink. I colored the images using Copic markers and cut them all using Decorative Ornaments coordinating dies and Elegant Holly coordinating dies. I also die cut the Pine Sprig Dies out of white paper and colored them using Copic markers.

Next, I cut a piece of white card stock of 4×5.25 inch, placed Decorative Ornaments on it and draw vertical lines using a copic line pen and then stamped a sentiment. I then adhered Decorative OrnamentsElegant Holly and Pine Sprig Dies using glue and foam tape.

To embellish the card, I applied Ranger Dry Glitter onto the Pine Sprigs using Multi Medium Matte before adhering the sprigs, and I also adhered Metallic Gold Jewels here and there. I foam mounted the panel onto A2 sized top folded card base and finished off my card.

5 Days of Christmas Giveaways: Day 1

Hi crafty friends, Eloise here today to share a card using the new Penguin Pals Stamp Set and Layered Tree Dies to create a fun Christmas scene. Plus, we are kicking off 5 Days of Christmas, which is where we’ll have a new giveaway each day, along with some holiday inspiration!

Watch the video above   I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

To start off my card today I stamped out the penguins from Penguin Pals as well as the branch and log from Winter Woodland. I coloured them in with Copic Markers and then cut them out using the coordinating dies.

While I had my die cutting machine out, I also die cut out the Layered Tree Die from white cardstock along with a snowy hill using the Stitched Borders 1 Die Set.

Copic Markers Used: W3, W5, W7 / R17, R29, R89 / YG03, YG25, YG17 / YG67 / E55, E57, E59 / Y13, Y15, Y19 / Y35, YR12, YR18 / W00, W0, 0

Next up I coloured the Layered Tree using the same green Copics as before, except I added In YG67 to darken it up a little. After I coloured in all the elements, I dried them off and started on my background. I took a piece of watercolour paper and ink blended some Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks. I flicked on some water and dried it with a heat tool.

I then adhered on my snowy hill and then my branches and the tree in the middle. I then adhered the rest of my penguins onto my scene as well. To finish up, I cut apart my ‘Merry Wishes’ stamp so I could have a side-by-side sentiment instead of on top of each other and stamped it on the top of my panel and white heat embossed it.

Christmas Theme Week- Day 7

Hello friends, Angelica here and today in celebration of Christmas Theme Week, I have 2 fabulous cards to share with you all using a variety of Pretty Pink Posh Christmas and Winter stamp sets. I wanted a fun Christmas scene, but couldn’t decide on what stamps to use, so I decided to have one big PPP snowy party.

Don’t forget to take advantage of the 15% discount on the Christmas Items in the store!

I started with stamping out all the images on Copic-friendly paper. I used Winter Wonderland, Penguin Pals, Winter Friends, Reindeer Friends, Christmas Friends, and Happy Snowman stamp sets and coordinating dies.

For the background, I cut two pieces of Bristol Smooth paper to 4.25×8.25. I heat embossed snowflakes from Winter Wonderland, using InkOn3 embossing ink and Brutus Monroe Alabaster embossing powder. For the black sentiment, I stamped with Versafine Claire Nocturne ink, then heat embossed using Brutus Monroe Icicle embossing powder. I then did an emboss-resist ink-blended background using Shaded Lilac, Worn Lipstick, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks. I splattered water all over the panels, then used a paper towel to dab the water up. Next I splattered shimmer water all over the panels for sparkle. I let that set on the paper for about 30 seconds, then dabbed the water up.

To assemble the scene, I started with the Happy Holidays Script die. I added Stick-It adhesive to the back of magenta shimmer paper, and die cut it 4 times. I stacked them together and set them aside while I assembled the cardbase.

I taped the panels to a 8.5×4.5 card base. I used an X-ACTO knife to cut hills out of Tonic white glitter paper. I used Scor Tape to adhere the back hill, and foam tape to adhere the front hill. I then added the images, laying out the scene before hand so I knew how to layer them. Some I glued to the card base with Lawn Fawn Glue Tube, others I used Scrapbook Adhesive thin foam squares, and the rest was with foam tape.

I love how these cards turned out. It took a few hours here and there to bring them together, and it was time well spent! That’s all I have for today. I hope this inspires you to mix sets up and make your own fun Christmas scene!

Christmas Theme Week- Day 6

Good morning lovely Pretty Pink Posh friends! Heather here and I am super excited to be sharing a card with you today for Christmas Theme week – I had so much fun combining several stamps and dies from the newest release to create this elegant floral card.

Don’t forget: items in the Christmas category are 15% off during the Christmas Theme Week!

I started off by stamping all of the flowers and leaves from Poinsettias stamp set on Copic friendly cardstock. I know poinsettias are most commonly red – but I always love the slightly less common pink ones, so I chose to color them in that color combo. I used these Copics for the flowers: R01, R11, R32, R22, and R14 – as well as Y21 and Y38 for the centers. The leaves were colored with G40, G21, and G24.

I die cut all of those images with the Poinsettia coordinating dies, then also die cut lots of greenery using Pine Sprigs Die set. I cut those from white cardstock, then used my lightest green Copic in the color combo above – G40 – to add a touch of soft color to those. I wanted them to be a super soft green, and that was the perfect way to make sure they coordinated perfectly with my other elements.

I arranged all those elements until I was happy with them, then used a piece of Press ‘n Seal to pick up the entire arrangement and add foam adhesive on the reverse side before adhering in place on my white cardbase. I added a tiny sentiment from Caroling Critters, and then a good coat of gold splatters using the Champagne Gold from my Starry Colors Palette. As a finishing touch, I added a few Ivory Jewels – love the sparkle and elegance they add!

Thanks so much for coming by today – I hope you have been enjoying all the inspiration this week! Have a wonderful day – and Merry Christmas!

Christmas Theme Week- Day 5

Hi Everyone! It is Melody joining you here on the blog for another day of Christmas Theme Week. If you are like me you are trying to finish up your holiday creating before all the hustle and bustle gets to crazy! My card is created with the Elegant Holly stamp set and the Joy Shaker Die.

If you don’t own any of these sets yet you’re in luck!  Pretty Pink Posh has 15% off items in the Christmas section!

First I cut a piece of Kraft Cardstock to fit the inside of the card base. Next I die cut the Joy Shaker die directly into the card front and again from red glitter cardstock. Then I randomly stamped images from the Elegant Holly stamp set on the kraft cardstock with Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

I colored with embossed images with Copic Markers. I used R24, R29, R89, YG61, YG63, and YG67. I stamped and colored one more image from the stamp set and die cut the image with the Elegant Holly Coordinating Dies. To create the shaker I inlayed the Joy die cut into the card front and added acetate behind the shaker and then a layer of form.

The shaker is filled with 6mm Gold Confetti, Gold Mini Star Confetti, and Iridescent Mini Star Confetti. The sentiment is from the Angel Friends stamp set, stamped in Versamark Ink on red cardstock and embossed with gold embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope we have given you a few more ideas to finish up your holiday creating!

Christmas Theme Week- Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of Christmas Theme Week. I hope you all had tons of inspirations from last 3 days! Alix here today sharing couple cards I made to boost up your holiday card making spirits!.

First of all, I colored the poinsettia images from Poinsettias stamp set with my Copic markers and die cut with Poinsettias coordinating dies. I also cut branches from white card stock using Pine Sprigs Dies and inked tips of these branches with Tim Holtz Distress ink in Vintage Photo. I set all of them aside for later use.

Now it’s time for me to prepare the background. I cut an A2 panel out of a piece of Red heavy weight card stock, then I ink blended the edges of background using Black Soot Distress Oxide. I noticed many of our talented designers has been using this technique to create gorgeous backgrounds and I had to try it. It took me 2 minutes to make it and it turned out as great as I expected!

I assembled colored images and die cuts onto the background and splattered white paints to create snowflakes. At last, I stamped the sentiment “Season’s Greetings” from Decorative Ornament Stamp set using Versafine Oynx Black ink. This is a card that you could mass produce for Christmas. I highly encourage you to give it a try!

After finishing my first card, I suddenly fell in love with red background. So that is how I started this card. I cut another  A2 panel out of a piece of red heavy weight card stock. Then I cut a window using Window Frames Dies. In order to create a shaker window, I adhered a piece of acetate paper underneath the window I cut out and added Foam tape to create shaker space. I also Copic colored images from Holiday Pals stamp set and hand cut them with scissors. To speed up the process, you could cut with using Holiday Pals Coordinating Dies.

To create the background, I grabbed another piece of cardstock and ink blended the top surface with Tim Holtz Distress ink in Faded Jeans and Black soot. I added colored images and splattered white paint over. Then I poured all my shaker elements (4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins,Marshmallow Sequins and Midnight Black Jewels) and I added top panel to close the shaker window.

I decided to use a script die cut as the sentiment for this card. I cut from a white cardstock using Ornament Shaker Die. Then I hand cut the script word “Jolly” out of the original shape of die cut. I adhered it onto the lower part of this card. After I arranged colored images around the window, I embellished the front panel with Midnight Black Jewels and 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins. To make this card looking not so flat, I ink blended with Black Soot onto the top and bottom edges of front panel along with the script die cut. I also splattered white paint at the bottom of window to create some snow on the ground for critters to stand on.

We are having a 15% discount on all items in our Christmas section . Check it out to see if you find anything fun to add onto your Christmas projects!

Christmas Theme Week- Day 3

Welcome everyone to Christmas Theme week with Pretty Pink Posh! I hope you are enjoying all of the inspiration the team is showing.

Don’t forget to take advantage of the 15% discount on the Christmas Items in the store! Great way to stock up!

My project today is creating a Scalloped Box Pop up card with the Reindeer Friends stamp set. The critters over at Pretty Pink Posh are always so adorable but I have been in love with these reindeer since they were released.

I stamped my reindeer onto Neenah Solar White cardstock with MFT Extreme Black Ink. Then colored with my copic markers and used the coordinating die to cut them out. My box is created using the Scallop Box Pop Up card die with Chili Red cardstock. I decorated the panels with patterned paper from the Jolly paper pack from Pink & Main.

To adhere my reindeer I attached them to strips of acetate. That way I wasn’t hiding any part of them and some even look like they are jumping through the air!

My sentiment comes from the Holiday Greetings stamp set which has such a great variety of beautiful sentiments! The Scallop Box card folds up perfectly to fit into an A2 size envelope. What a treat it’ll be when someone opens the envelope and this box card pops up with these adorable reindeer!

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! Be sure to head to the Pretty Pink Posh website to start shopping!
