5 Days of Christmas Giveaways: Day 2

Hi, there! It’s Marge here sharing a Christmas ornaments card which features some of the products from the latest release. Be sure to read the whole post as we have a giveaway that you do not want to miss!

I started by stamping images from the Decorative Ornaments and Elegant Holly stamp sets on 80lb Neenah White paper using Memento Black Ink. I colored the images using Copic markers and cut them all using Decorative Ornaments coordinating dies and Elegant Holly coordinating dies. I also die cut the Pine Sprig Dies out of white paper and colored them using Copic markers.

Next, I cut a piece of white card stock of 4×5.25 inch, placed Decorative Ornaments on it and draw vertical lines using a copic line pen and then stamped a sentiment. I then adhered Decorative Ornaments, Elegant Holly and Pine Sprig Dies using glue and foam tape.

To embellish the card, I applied Ranger Dry Glitter onto the Pine Sprigs using Multi Medium Matte before adhering the sprigs, and I also adhered Metallic Gold Jewels here and there. I foam mounted the panel onto A2 sized top folded card base and finished off my card.

  2. I really like the colors of today’s card. My favorite Christmas stamp set is Sweet Pea’s Lost Without You. The little shepherd boy is so sweet and I think it shows the true spirit of Christmas in such a sweet way.

  4. How gorgeous are these?! Beautiful work! I don’t think I have only one favourite Christmas stamp set… From PPP, it’s definitely Winter Wonderland, which is beyond adorable… This year, I really enjoyed working with a small stamp set by Altenew called Winter Cottage, and their more traditional stamp set called Poinsettia and Pine. And I am also absolutely besotted by the Hello Bluebird Christmas sets – so cute!

    Is it even possible to pick one favorite stamp set for Christmas? I don’t think so! But I do particularly enjoy anything related to nature and anything that portrays the true meaning of Christmas – Christ’s birth.

  42. I love your beautiful card. The ornaments are beautiful and your coloring is amazing. It would definitely be my favorite from this release as of now because I have nothing like it. My favorite holiday stamp set in my stash is a layering poinsettia set I’ve had for years and honestly don’t know where and when I got it. I seem to pull it out often, even when it’s not the holidays.

  54. I don’t have a favorite stamp set per se but I tend toward Nativity scenes and the traditional signs of Christmas such as ornaments and pine. These ornaments from PPP would definitely fit that bill.

  86. Out of every stamp set I have or have ever seen the Decorative Ornaments is my all time favorite (holiday or otherwise)! I missed getting it when it was released and I was so upset then I received the email telling me it was back in stock and immediately ordered it lol. It arrived in today’s mail and I’m still doing a happy dance tonight :)

  102. From PPP, I’m a big fan of Penguin Pals this season. I just love those happy, chubby, little critters. Otherwise, the one I’ve made the most cards with this season is Altenew’s Starry Night. But I realized as I was crafting that I have no ornament sets! This seems like a gigantic oversight, and since I really like the PPP set that Marge used, it might need to be at the top of my list for next year’s cards.
