Pretty Pink Posh Shop

Hi crafty friends! It’s Dana here and I am excited to be back sharing a sneak peek of the new stencils coming to Pretty Pink Posh. This release includes four new stencils: Layered Chocolates, Layered Valentine Hearts, Layered Cherries and Layered XOXO. Today I will be using two of the sets, so let’s get started…

New release will be available January 5th. 

My first card uses the Layered Cherries stencils to create my card panel. This is a three pack of stencils that layer together to create a fun background. To make my background, I used Distress Oxide ink (Candied Apple, Mowed Lawn and Brushed Corduroy) and small blended brushes to add ink to each layer. Once my panel was finished I added a few white paint splatters and set it aside to dry.

Next, I used the Sweet Cherries stamp and die set for my stamped cherries and sentiment. I colored the cherries with Copic markers and attached them along with my sentiment to my card panel with foam adhesive. I love how these products coordinate together though also can be used on their own! Lastly, I trimmed my panel down and attached it to an A2 card base to finish my card.

My next card uses the Layered XOXO stencil set. 

I started my card by using the Layered XOXO stencil set to make my card panel. This is a set of three stencils: X’s, O’s and Hearts. I used the Hearts in place of the O’s to make my background, but either layer works the same. I love that you have both options! I used Distress Oxide ink in Spun Sugar and Salvaged Patina for my layers. 

Next, I used the Scallop Heart die to die cut a heart from the center of my panel. I attached acetate behind the opening and added foam adhesive to create a shaker. I then filled the shaker with the XOXO confetti mix before closing it up. Lastly, I used the Large Love Hot Foil Plate to create my sentiment. Following the directions for my machine I foiled the sentiment onto a piece of red cardstock with gold foil. I then used the Large Love Shadow die to cut it out. Lastly, I attached it to my card panel with a little liquid glue.

Hi friends! It’s Stefanie here today and I am sharing a sneak peek of the Heart Critters stamp set. The critters are just adorable and I thought they were the perfect size to use with the Sweet Note dies.

New release will be available January 5th. 

I created two Sweet Notes and added a leopard on one and a panda on the other. To begin, I colored both of the critters using a mix of Copic and Ohuhu(O) markers.

• Leopard yellow: E37, YR24, YR21, YR20, E30
• Leopard nose and ear pinks: E11, R30, R000
• Leopard white: E40
• Leopard heart: R20(O), R19(O), R18(O)
• Leopard bow/Panda flower: R9(O), R21(O)
• Panda green leaf: GY4(O), GY7(O)
• Panda black: NG09(O), NG06(O), NG03(O)
• Panda white: W3, W1, W00

Next I used the Heart Critters coordinating dies to cut out the images and set them aside while I worked on the envelopes. 

I knew I wanted the envelopes to be a dark pink and the background for the critters to be a light pink. Since I didn’t have any dark pink cardstock, I die cut 2 envelopes and used Picked Raspberry distress oxide to color them in. 

For the backgrounds, I die cut 2 squares and used distress oxides in Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar to create a gradient from pink to white on each. I also used water droplets to lift up some of the pink and give the background some more texture. To create a bit more subtle valentine theme, I pulled out all the cute valentine sentiments from the release and stamped them in the bottom portion of the background in Spun Sugar.

To finish off the outside of the envelope, I adhered the background onto the envelope and propped up the critter using foam tape.

For the inside, I used the Pinstripe stencil with Spun Sugar distress oxide to create the stripe pattern and adhered another square die cut in white card stock to create a little area for a handwritten note.

Hello crafty friends, it’s Davina here! Today I’m sharing some super sweet “Sneak Peek” projects for the most amazing Pretty Pink Posh  January release. This release is full of the cutest Valentines products and everything from stamps and dies, to stencils, and now Hot Foil Plates! It’s all so exciting and I can’t wait for everyone to see the new goodies!

I made some adorable little note card Valentines using the new Sweet Note Die and a few of the new sets- Potted Roses and Sweet Cherries. I die cut some colored cardstock using the Sweet Note set, and adhered some bright patterned paper to the exterior that I cut with the notecard die, and trimmed to fit the folds. I love the sweet stitching detail and the little square panel that is included for the interior. I stamped images from both sets (and a mouse and accessories from previous sets) and colored them up in bright colors to match my patterned paper. 

I created very simple scenes for both the exterior and inside of each card. Making sure to use the same layout on each card. The gorgeous cherries are the perfect size to add to the large cupcakes, and those roses are so pretty and fun to color.

Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share a sneak peek of the new XOXO stamp set. There are lots of possibilities with this set and I’m sharing two cards with different looks.

New release will be available January 5th. 

For my first card, I stamped the large XOXO image and coloured the images with copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut the letters out, adding layers behind for dimension.

I added a strip of patterned paper across the centre of a landscape mini slimline card base, with two Stitched Strips of pearlescent pink card above and below. I stamped a sentiment from the XOXO stamp set below the stitched strip, then adhered the XOXO letters.

Copic colours: Reds: R20-27; Greens: G07 G17; Blue Greens: BG11-15; Browns: E55-57, E44-49, E23-25

On my second card, I used the additional images from the XOXO stamp set to create a background.

I stamped lots of the images, coloured them with copic markers and die cut them with the XOXO coordinating dies. I cut a piece of patterned paper, a little smaller than my 6×6 card base.

Instead of stamping XOXO letters for this card, I used just the coordinating dies to cut out the letters from white sparkle card. I added two die cut layers behind for dimension, then adhered them in the centre of the patterned paper square.

I adhered the stamped images around the letters, trimming away anything overhanging the edge, then adhered the panel to my card base to finish.

Hello friends! It’s Leica here today with a coffee-themed Christmas card. I’ve used the Layered Coffee Cups stencils, Winter Foliage dies, and the Winter Mug dies for this square-shaped card. 

I first cut a 5” square panel and inked through the A layer of the Layered Coffee Cups in Gina K. Amalgam Ink. Next, I inked through the B layer in Spun Sugar and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks. For the C layer, I used Spun Sugar and the Gina K. Amalgam ink.  

Next, I cut the mug from the Winter Mug dies in pink cardstock and shaded the sides with Copic R00. I stamped the sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments on the mug. For the hot cocoa, I cut it in kraft cardstock and added Copic E70. I assembled the candy cane and decided to turn it upside down to make it  a chocolate wafer stick.

I then watercolor sheets of cardstock in shades of green and red. Once dry, I used the Winter Foliage dies to cut the flowers and greenery for my little floral arrangement. I splattered some white paint before gluing it onto the card panel. 

I glued down the elements on the card panel and layered it with a 5.25” square patterned paper. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a 5.25” card base.

Hello, Gemma here today to share a card inspired by Christmas sweaters. This is a fun way to use the smaller images in your stamp sets.

I stamped, copic coloured, and die cut images from the following stamp sets:

• Pine Wreath
• Joy
• Christmas Friends
• Love Borders

Copic Colours Candy Canes: R22-24, N0-1 Holly & Berries: R22-24, G14-17 Baubles: R20-24, G40 G12-14 Santa Hat: R22-27, N0-1 Birds: R24-29, N3-5, E97 Presents: YG05, R85 Trees: E57 G14 G17 G28

For the sentiment, I die cut a Stitched Strip from white card. I chose a sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments stamp set, and repeat stamped it across the stitched strip.

I adhered the sentiment strip across the centre of an A2 card base, followed by a heart border above and below. I then added each layer of my Christmas sweater design, trimming away anything overhanging. Having the images go off the card will give the illusion that the pattern continues.

All the layers are adhered with liquid glue, to reduce dimension and make it easier to mail out.

I hope this card inspired you to use your smaller images in new, creative ways.

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today sharing a fun Christmas card that is easy to recreate. You can use this concept for any holiday and change out the images/ colors.

I started my card by making my card panel with the Circles stencil. I ink blended red, green and aqua ink with finger daubers to create my background. I love how this stencil can be used for a traditional card panel but also works great to create a grid for smaller images. 

Next, I used the Joy, Pine Wreath, Poinsettia Corners, and Christmas Friends sets to stamp my small images. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Lastly, I used the Holiday Signs stamp set to stamp my sentiment onto my panel and then added my small images with foam adhesive to finish my card.

Hello everyone, Zsofia here. I am super excited to participate in Holiday Theme Week with Pretty Pink Posh! I love to make Christmas cards and mixing old with new, this is how this cute scene was born in my head. And because I love to dress up the presents, I also created a coordinating tag.

I started with stamping and colouring the images from Happy Santa and Reindeer Friends. I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and cut everything out with their coordinating dies.

Then I did some ink blending on Bristol Smooth cardstock with Distress Oxide inks: Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean. I spritzed the panels with water and dabbed it off with a paper towel. Then I used the Snowfall stencil and white texture paste to create a night background with snow. 

While it was drying I did some die cutting: I needed a snowbank from white glitter cardstock and also a sentiment. I chose the Merry Christmas script, cut it from gold glitter cardstock and once more from black and layered them on top of each other tiny offset, so it looks like it has a shadow. It helps the sentiment stand out.

When the background was dry, I cut it down to be a bit smaller than an A2 sized card front and adhered it to a top folding card base. I assembled the scene and popped up Santa with 3D foam squares. 

As a finishing touch I used a clear shimmer pen on the furry parts of Santa’s costume, glossy accents on the ribbon and reindeer noses, and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

For the tag I used the Decorative Tag 1 die set, and did the same steps as above. I punched a hole on the top and added a thick red and white twine to it.
