Sneak Peek: Potted Roses + Sweet Cherries

Hello crafty friends, it’s Davina here! Today I’m sharing some super sweet “Sneak Peek” projects for the most amazing Pretty Pink Posh  January release. This release is full of the cutest Valentines products and everything from stamps and dies, to stencils, and now Hot Foil Plates! It’s all so exciting and I can’t wait for everyone to see the new goodies!

New release will be available January 5th.

Sneak Peek: Potted Roses + Sweet Cherries

I made some adorable little note card Valentines using the new Sweet Note Die and a few of the new sets- Potted Roses and Sweet Cherries. I die cut some colored cardstock using the Sweet Note set, and adhered some bright patterned paper to the exterior that I cut with the notecard die, and trimmed to fit the folds. I love the sweet stitching detail and the little square panel that is included for the interior. I stamped images from both sets (and a mouse and accessories from previous sets) and colored them up in bright colors to match my patterned paper.

Sneak Peek: Potted Roses + Sweet Cherries

I created very simple scenes for both the exterior and inside of each card. Making sure to use the same layout on each card. The gorgeous cherries are the perfect size to add to the large cupcakes, and those roses are so pretty and fun to color.

Sneak Peek: XOXO

Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share a sneak peek of the new XOXO stamp set. There are lots of possibilities with this set and I’m sharing two cards with different looks.

New release will be available January 5th.

Sneak Peek: XOXO

For my first card, I stamped the large XOXO image and coloured the images with copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut the letters out, adding layers behind for dimension.

Sneak Peek: XOXO

I added a strip of patterned paper across the centre of a landscape mini slimline card base, with two Stitched Strips of pearlescent pink card above and below. I stamped a sentiment from the XOXO stamp set below the stitched strip, then adhered the XOXO letters.

Copic colours: Reds: R20-27; Greens: G07 G17; Blue Greens: BG11-15; Browns: E55-57, E44-49, E23-25

Sneak Peek: XOXO

On my second card, I used the additional images from the XOXO stamp set to create a background.

Sneak Peek: XOXO

I stamped lots of the images, coloured them with copic markers and die cut them with the XOXO coordinating dies. I cut a piece of patterned paper, a little smaller than my 6×6 card base.

Sneak Peek: XOXO

Instead of stamping XOXO letters for this card, I used just the coordinating dies to cut out the letters from white sparkle card. I added two die cut layers behind for dimension, then adhered them in the centre of the patterned paper square.

Sneak Peek: XOXO

I adhered the stamped images around the letters, trimming away anything overhanging the edge, then adhered the panel to my card base to finish.

Copic colours: Reds: R20-20; Greens: G07 G14 G43-46; Browns: E31-37, E40-41, E55-59, E74-79

Stop by tomorrow for another day of sneak peeks! Thanks for joining us today!

Winter Coffee Cup

Hello friends! It’s Leica here today with a coffee-themed Christmas card. I’ve used the Layered Coffee Cups stencils, Winter Foliage dies, and the Winter Mug dies for this square-shaped card.

Pretty Pink Posh: Winter Coffee Cup

I first cut a 5” square panel and inked through the A layer of the Layered Coffee Cups in Gina K. Amalgam Ink. Next, I inked through the B layer in Spun Sugar and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks. For the C layer, I used Spun Sugar and the Gina K. Amalgam ink.

Pretty Pink Posh: Winter Coffee Cup

Next, I cut the mug from the Winter Mug dies in pink cardstock and shaded the sides with Copic R00. I stamped the sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments on the mug. For the hot cocoa, I cut it in kraft cardstock and added Copic E70. I assembled the candy cane and decided to turn it upside down to make it  a chocolate wafer stick.

I then watercolor sheets of cardstock in shades of green and red. Once dry, I used the Winter Foliage dies to cut the flowers and greenery for my little floral arrangement. I splattered some white paint before gluing it onto the card panel.

Pretty Pink Posh: Winter Coffee Cup

I glued down the elements on the card panel and layered it with a 5.25” square patterned paper. Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a 5.25” card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope that I’ve inspired you to make cards with these new products from PPP!

Whimsical Pine Wreath + Video

Hey friends! It’s Mindy with you today and I am sharing how I’m stretching the use of my holiday stamps. I’m also going to step it up a little and use non-traditional holiday colors.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

I’m going to be starting with the Snowflakes stencil and adding it to white cardstock using a light gray ink. I wanted something subtle so it didn’t overpower my images.

Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Pine Wreath + Video

Next, I’m going to use the Pine Wreath stamp and instead of using a traditional green, I’m going to stamp it in blue ink.

Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Pine Wreath + Video

I’m going to use a bunch of the smaller elements from the Pine Wreath stamp set and color them with some Triblend alcohol ink markers in some non-traditional colors. Then use the coordinating die to cut them out.

Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Pine Wreath + Video

Before I attach anything to my card front, I’m going to stamp my sentiment so it’s in the center of the wreath. The Mouse Friends stamp set not only has some adorable images but a really good versatile sentiment.

Then I can add my wreath and smaller elements for foam squares.

Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Pine Wreath + Video

This wreath would be great all year round by just switching up the color you stamp it in and the smaller elements you decorate it with.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and gives you some ideas on how you can stretch the use of your holiday stamp sets just by changing up colors and sentiment.

Christmas Sweater Card

Hello, Gemma here today to share a card inspired by Christmas sweaters. This is a fun way to use the smaller images in your stamp sets.

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Sweater Card

I stamped, copic coloured, and die cut images from the following stamp sets:

Copic Colours Candy Canes: R22-24, N0-1 Holly & Berries: R22-24, G14-17 Baubles: R20-24, G40 G12-14 Santa Hat: R22-27, N0-1 Birds: R24-29, N3-5, E97 Presents: YG05, R85 Trees: E57 G14 G17 G28

Pretty Pink Posh: Christmas Sweater Card

For the sentiment, I die cut a Stitched Strip from white card. I chose a sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments stamp set, and repeat stamped it across the stitched strip.

I adhered the sentiment strip across the centre of an A2 card base, followed by a heart border above and below. I then added each layer of my Christmas sweater design, trimming away anything overhanging. Having the images go off the card will give the illusion that the pattern continues.

All the layers are adhered with liquid glue, to reduce dimension and make it easier to mail out.

I hope this card inspired you to use your smaller images in new, creative ways.

Winter Mitten Shaker + Video

Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here. One of my favorite types of cards to make is a shaker card.  Today I’m sharing a shaker card I made using  the Mitten Shaker die set.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

Winter Mitten Shaker + Video

I filled the mitten shaker with the Peppermint clay confetti and the Winter Snowflakes clay confetti. I added the mittens to a snowflake stenciled background that I made with the Layered Snowflakes Stencil. I used Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Speckled Egg distress oxide inks on the stencil. I added the Winter Wishes Script die for the sentiment. I also added a snowflake die cut shape to the mitten and added a Ruby Red Pearl to the center.

Winter Mitten Shaker + Video

My card measurements are as follows:

Snowflake Stenciled Background – 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Blue Cardstock – 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″
White Card Base – 6″ x 6″

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed today’s video and card.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 7

Holiday Theme Week- Day 7

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today sharing a fun Christmas card that is easy to recreate. You can use this concept for any holiday and change out the images/ colors.

**All items in the Christmas section are 15% off during theme week**

Holiday Theme Week- Day 7

I started my card by making my card panel with the Circles stencil. I ink blended red, green and aqua ink with finger daubers to create my background. I love how this stencil can be used for a traditional card panel but also works great to create a grid for smaller images.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 7

Next, I used the JoyPine WreathPoinsettia Corners, and Christmas Friends sets to stamp my small images. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Lastly, I used the Holiday Signs stamp set to stamp my sentiment onto my panel and then added my small images with foam adhesive to finish my card.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 7

Thanks for joining me today and I hope I inspired you to use the Circles stencil to create a card of your own. There are so many possibilities and I can’t wait to recreate the same design for another occasion.

Enjoy your day, Dana

Holiday Theme Week- Day 6

Holiday Theme Week- Day 6

Hello everyone, Zsofia here. I am super excited to participate in Holiday Theme Week with Pretty Pink Posh! I love to make Christmas cards and mixing old with new, this is how this cute scene was born in my head. And because I love to dress up the presents, I also created a coordinating tag.

**All items in the Christmas section are 15% off during theme week**

Holiday Theme Week- Day 6

I started with stamping and colouring the images from Happy Santa and Reindeer Friends. I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and cut everything out with their coordinating dies.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 6

Then I did some ink blending on Bristol Smooth cardstock with Distress Oxide inks: Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean. I spritzed the panels with water and dabbed it off with a paper towel. Then I used the Snowfall stencil and white texture paste to create a night background with snow.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 6

While it was drying I did some die cutting: I needed a snowbank from white glitter cardstock and also a sentiment. I chose the Merry Christmas script, cut it from gold glitter cardstock and once more from black and layered them on top of each other tiny offset, so it looks like it has a shadow. It helps the sentiment stand out.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 6

When the background was dry, I cut it down to be a bit smaller than an A2 sized card front and adhered it to a top folding card base. I assembled the scene and popped up Santa with 3D foam squares.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 6

As a finishing touch I used a clear shimmer pen on the furry parts of Santa’s costume, glossy accents on the ribbon and reindeer noses, and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 6

For the tag I used the Decorative Tag 1 die set, and did the same steps as above. I punched a hole on the top and added a thick red and white twine to it.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 6

I wish you enjoyed my project and you will pop in again tomorrow for more inspiration.

See you soon, Zsofi

Holiday Theme Week- Day 5

Holiday Theme Week- Day 5

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a Christmas card featuring the latest dies from Pretty Pink Posh. I’ve used the Winter Foliage dies, Winter Mug dies, and Merry & Bright Script for this square-shaped card.

**All items in the Christmas section are 15% off during theme week**

Holiday Theme Week- Day 5

I started by ink blending through the layer A of the Layered Christmas Lights Stencil in Pigment Craft Co Lagoon ink on a 5” panel. Next, I cut 2 marshmallows, the mug, and candy cane from the Winter Mug Dies and colored them with Copic markers.

Hot chocolate – E77/74/71
Marshmallows – W1/00
Mug – BG09/05/13/11
Candy Cane – R29/27/24

Holiday Theme Week- Day 5

I glued the mug directly onto the card panel and added a small cluster of florals cut using the Winter Foliage. For the sentiment, I cut the “merry” from the Merry & Bright Script in pink glitter cardstock and a few times in white cardstock for dimension. I then stamped out “Christmas” on a strip of Kraft cardstock and foam mounted it onto the card panel. I glued some gold pearls on the center of the flowers and added some Ruby Red pearls on the card panel for added interest.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 5

Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a green card base and added a 5” square writing area in white cardstock inside the card.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting!

Holiday Theme Week- Day 4

Holiday Theme Week- Day 4

Hi, everyone! It’s Marge with you today for the day 4 of Holiday Theme Week.  I’m going to share how to make a simple card with unusual colors. I used to use white bristol paper for  ink blending of backdrops or diecuts but recently I found that using light colored cardstocks make your ink colors more unique. So here’s how I did that.

**All items in the Christmas section are 15% off during theme week**

Holiday Theme Week- Day 4

For the background panel, I ink blended an A2 sized Cream cardstock with Distress Oxide Inks Worn Lipstic, and Tattered Rose using a blending brush. You can get more shaded & saturated colors without giving much effort to ink blending by using the colored cardstock as a backdrop.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 4

Next, I placed Snowfall Stencil onto the panel, then I applied white molding paste through it to make a snowy background. I set it aside and let the paste dry.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 4

Next, I die cut the smallest tree from Pine Trees Dies set out of Fog Gray Cardstock. I cut three pieces and added different colors to each diecut as shown in the picture below.

Holiday Theme Week- Day 4

I splattered with white gouach and gold metallic inks all over the tree die cuts and backdrops and let them dry. For a message on the card, I chose Merry and Bright Script Die and die cut it out of white,  white glitter, and matte gold cardstocks. I glued each layer for dimensional look

Holiday Theme Week- Day 4

Now it’s time for assembling. I addhered trees on the bottom using foam tapes and on the top I glued the Merry and Bright Script. For embellishment, I adhered 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins around the diecuts and finished off my card.

That’s it for me for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my card. Happy crafting!

Marge
