Adorable Animals Blog Hop

Welcome to the last stop of the Adorable Animals Blog Hop! If you started from the beginning, you should be coming from Larissa Heskett’s blog. Hasn’t this hop been full of adorable creations? I just love this theme!

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I needed to create a card from my parents. After pondering all of my different animal options, I decided to use the Owls stamp set. I haven’t used the Open Box for quite a while, so I wanted to use that somehow with the owls. Since there are five kids, my two parents and my brother-in-law, I thought bringing them altogether on this card would be cute.

adorableanimals2aI actually pulled out quite a bit of neglected items on this card. {links to products below} Isn’t it fun to use items that you haven’t used in a while? I forgot how much I enjoyed using some of these things!

Wonderful Washi Blog Hop

Good morning!

It’s time for the DeNami Design monthly blog hop. If you have started the hop from the beginning, you should be coming from Diana’s blog. You definitely want to be sure you visit all 19 stops; there’s bound to be lots of amazing washi tape inspiration!

I know that many of my readers are familiar with washi tape- it’s the hottest thing in blogging land right now! It took me a little while to dip my feet into this bandwagon, but now I am obsessed with it. Dozens of designs and colors and yet I’m still always on the lookout for new ones!

With Valentine’s Day coming up quickly, I thought I would create a card all about this sweet day. I have an abundance of red washi tape, so I decided to put them to use and create a washi tape heart.  It’s SUPER easy to do, too! I placed stripes of washi tape on white paper, used a heart die cut and voila! valentine1a

Did you happen to notice the red doily in the background? I first tried using a standard white one and it didn’t pop as much as I liked. Enter in a red ink pad and I immediately had a matching RED doily!

valentine1bIt’s time to head off to the next stop on the blog hop- Barbara Murphy’s blog! Barb is such a sweetie pie who is always so supportive and has great ideas- I can’t wait to see what she creates using washi tape!

Have fun with the rest of the hop, I hope you were inspired by my card. Don’t forget to leave comments on each stop for your highest chance of snagging one of the $20 gift certificates!

NOT LISTED: aqua paper & pearls, doily

Pretty Packaging Blog Hop

I hope that you all have enjoyed the Pretty Packaging Blog Hop so far. If you’re just stopping in, I would encourage you to visit the DeNami blog for the list of participants. I have a feeling that there are LOTS of fabulous packaging ideas which will come in handy with Christmas sneaking up on us. For those who have hopped the whole way through, you should be coming from the super sweet Lisa Elton’s blog!
I’ll be honest with you, I struggled terribly on knowing what to create for today. Since all of my “good” ideas were used on the DeNami blog this week, I feel like my creativity has been zapped. After creating {and tossing} a few projects, I finally decided on this one. Quick and simple, but still super festive. Also, since I’m obsessed with washi tape, I love how it looks on the boxes.

Around the holidays, my mom always makes caramel corn. Oh goodness, if I could give you some through the computer screen, I would. This stuff is so yummy and addicting- I will admit I was snacking on it while I was creating. While I decided on filling the boxes with popcorn, you could put in candy, cookies or other small treats.

Don’t forget to leave comments on each of the stops- there’s a chance you could win one of the $20 DeNami gift certificates! With the newest addition of washi tape and the new release coming next month, that will definitely come in handy!
Before I close, I want to mention this also fits in into the 10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge this week. Each box took about 5 minutes to make, which is perfect if you need to make a lot as party favors! All of the supplies will be listed below.
Thank you for stopping by today. I will see you back here tomorrow!

Thoughtful Thank You Blog Hop

Hello there!

I’m here today for my post for the DeNami Thoughtful Thank You Blog Hop. I’ll be the first to admit, I had so many ideas on what I wanted to do for this post, but didn’t know if any of them would come to light. With my health being shaky lately, my bouts of crafting have been on and off. I’m SO grateful that I was feeling good one day and was able to knock out this fun little project.

If you started from the beginning of the hop, you should be coming from Pattie Goldman’s blog. If this is your first stop and you would like to start from the beginning, be sure to head on over to the DeNami blog for the complete list of participants.

This is a lengthy post, so let’s jump right into it…..

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about Christmas. It’s hard to resist- my mom has already put up our Christmas tree and the stores are all decked out in pretty decorations. I will admit, mentally I’m not prepared for the crazy holiday season, but I DO love creating pretty holiday items.

Since my budget will be tight this year, I plan on making some of my Christmas presents. I know quite a few of my friends aren’t super crafty, but appreciate homemade items, so I thought I’d create some little gift sets. Since many people receive Christmas presents, I thought I’d create some mini thank you cards so they can hand them out.

I’ve had these tins forever and thought this was a great time to pull them out. They are super handy- I’ve used them to wrap up gift cards, package cards and now using them for Christmas presents. Yay for versatile items!

I pulled out many stamps on this project- I’ll post the complete supply list below. I always enjoy seeing which stamps work together and these blog hops are the perfect time to do so. :) Hopefully it inspires you to try out new stamp combinations, or maybe introduce you to new DeNami stamps.

I know this was a longer post, so I’ll wrap this up. Your next stop on the hop: Barbara Murphy! This gal is such a sweetheart and also really creative. I’m sure she’ll have a fabulous item to share with us today.

Be sure to leave comments on all of the blog hop stops for your highest chance of winning one of the gift certificates. With the DeNami website offering 10% off for the month of November, the gift certificates will go even further! :)

Enjoy the rest of the blog hop. Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Blog Hop

Good morning!

It’s time for the DeNami Halloween Blog Hop! I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while- there are just so many great DeNami Halloween stamps! In fact, I created so many cards, I had to limit what I put into this post and posted one on Friday {click here for the post}.

If you started the hop from the beginning, you should be coming from Deb’s blog. If you are just now starting, or got lost along the way, you can always head to the DeNami blog for the list of all the participants.
My first card showcases the new Halloween Kitty, along with the Boo {from the Halloween stamp set} and the Teeny Star Background. In addition, I used some WASHI TAPE. I’m in love with washi now….did you hear the news? DeNami is going to start carrying it soon! *happy dance*
scroll below for the complete supply list

Once again, I used my Sew Easy supplies {click here for my guide}. I think it looks great on cards, especially Halloween ones! There’s something about that black thread that brings the card together.

I know there’s quite a few more stops left, so I’ll wrap this up. Your next stop: Lisa Elton’s blog! Lisa is such a sweetheart and always has beautiful projects- I can’t wait to see what she made!

Have fun with the rest of the hop, I hope you were inspired by my card. Don’t forget to leave comments on each stop for your highest chance of snagging one of the $20 gift certificates!

Birthday Blog Hop

Hello and happy Friday!
Today is a special day- it’s my mom’s birthday! She is such a special lady and I wanted to do something that would surprise her and show how much she is loved. My idea? To throw a surprise blog hop in her honor!

I’ve gathered a few of the DeNami DT, along with some previous DT members and some of the most avid DeNami fans for this special occasion. If you started the hop at the beginning, you should be coming for Laurie Willison’s blog. If you got lost along the way, or just started, I have the complete list on the DeNami blog.{You’ll want to check out each post- these gals are SO talented!}
Mom, {don’t worry, I actually wrote in the card, too!}
I hope you were surprised and felt loved by this small act of how amazing and special you are. You inspire so many people with your creativity, love, passion for life, energy, kindness and zeal for the Lord. Thank you for always being true to who you are and for continuing to show Christ’s love to me (and the family), along with the DeNami customers. Love you. ♥

Did you happen to notice there are five sets of balloons? There are five of us kids, so I thought that would be a fun little way to incorporate that into the card. :)
This is the last stop in the hop- I hope you all were inspired by the various birthday creations. Thank you to those who joined along and to those who have left my mom some birthday love on the DeNami blog
Have a fabulous rest of your Friday, talk with you all soon!

Back to School Blog Hop

Hello and good morning!
It’s time for the DeNami September Blog Hop- the theme is: Back to School! I was a little nervous about this one, I had no idea what I was going to create. Then, with my neck/ back flaring up, I didn’t know if I would be able to actually make something. Thankfully, I was able to make something AND I think it looks cute! Win- win!
(Side note: stamping while not being able to move your neck is SUPER hard to do)
If you started the hop from the beginning, you’ll be coming from Dana Seymour’s blog– I heart that talented girl! Don’t worry, if you’re one of my followers and this is the first stop for you, click on over to the DeNami blog to start at the beginning.
I decided to create both a card and project with this theme. Last year, I bought this darling little clipboard at Target (my favorite store) and it’s been sitting in my craft studio waiting to be used. While I was look at my supplies, I realized this would be PERFECT for this blog hop theme. I added some patterned paper and then created notebook paper!

How cute is this card and clipboard together? Creating something like this would be great if your kiddo has trouble remembering what things need to be brought to school.

Notice any new DeNami products? See that awesome alphabet twill ribbon? We have that in stock and will be selling it soon! (We’ll post the link on the DeNami FB page and blog when it’s available)

I hope you were inspired by this post, along with all the other blog hop stops. Don’t forget, leave comments on each blog for your highest chance of winning of a $20 DeNami gift certificate!
That’s going to wrap up this post and the blog hop- see you tomorrow for another crafty creation!

DeNami Bright, Bold & Beautiful Blog Hop

Today is the August DeNami Blog Hop and this theme is super fun. Bright, Bold & Beautiful? I’m a huge fan of vibrant colors, and I know many of you are too.  If you started from the beginning, you should have come from Barbara Murphy’s blog. Made a little detour? That’s alright, you can find the complete list of participats on the DeNami blog.

For my card, I wanted to try to keep it fairly simple. With these bright colors, you don’t need a lot going on to make the card look complete. I went with a white card base *gasp* and then added the magenta cardstock for a burst of color. A few stamps. polka dots, glitter butterflies and a large bow and my card was finished. Snap, crackle, pop! Errr….more like stamp, color, glitter!

I know you still have quite a few stops left in the hop, so I’ll wrap up this now. Your next stop: Jennifer Harris’ blog!  Last month she created a beauty, and I know she’ll have another one for you today. :)
I hope you are super inspired today. Don’t forget to leave comments on each of the blog hop stops- there are DeNami gift certificates up for grabs!

NOT LISTED: turquoise ribbon, glitter puffs, decorative die cut

DeNami Summer Blog Hop

Hi there!
It’s time for the DeNami Summer Blog Hop! I’ve been excited about this one all month- there is something so fun about creating a Summer inspired card/ project. I just love the bright colors that are associated with Summer. *This just might be a hint as to next month’s theme*
If you started the blog hop from the beginning, you should be coming from Tina Milbourn’s blog. Oh goodness, isn’t this girl a hoot? I just love her. If you are coming into the hop mid-way, you can always head on over to the DeNami blog for the complete list of participants.

Okay, now onto my card. For this one, I decided to go the route of creating a mini Summer inspired scene. Granted, while I have never surfed before, I imagine it looking something like this on the beach. :)
Bright, bold colors and touches of glitter= perfection! I am utterly in love with our amazing glitters. If you haven’t checked them out before, or if you need to add to your glitter collection, click here.

I’m going to wrap up this post since there are still spots left in the hop. Your next stop: Tenia’s blog!
Just a little reminder: be sure to leave comments on each stop- you just never know where the winners will be chosen! Also, it TOTALLY brightens up our days when we receive sweet comments. :)
Have fun on the rest of the hop!

DeNami Pastels Blog Hop

Good morning!
It’s time for the DeNami May Blog Hop! I was sad I wasn’t able to participate in the last one, so I made sure I found a bit of time to play along in this one. After all, pastels are so fun to play with!
If you’ve started from the beginning, you should be coming from Rochelle Washington’s blog. However, if you started here, that’s okay too! Just be sure to visit the DeNami blog so you can see the complete listing of blogs.

With the theme being pastels, I immediately thought of flowers. It’s Spring and I’m obsessed with the Spring Flowers I set- it was meant to be. :) A while back I purchased the Martha Stewart picket fence border punch and knew that I had to use it on this card. Isn’t it a fun one?
I needed a subtle background, so I brought out my Modern Borders set and used the argyle image. Definitely can’t live without this set- it has argyle AND chevron in one set?!

It’s off to the next stop on the hop: Jennifer’s blog! Remember to leave a comment on each stop for your highest chance of winning one of the DeNami gift certificates!

Thanks so much for hopping along- I hope you were inspired by my card.
