Hello crafty friends! Arsenia here—and I’ve got a few ghoulishly adorable things to share for Day 1 of our August release sneak peeks! Today, we’re getting a first look at the Halloween Cake Pop DiesHalloween Bucket Additions, and the Happy Halloween Shadow Dies—and friends, let me tell you, this release is fang-tastic!

I’m totally embracing a whimsical Halloween color palette inspired by the new Spellbound Shaker Beads and Halloween Friend Mix Clay Bits—think Aqua, Lime Green, Lilac, and a splash of Black. Untraditional? Yes. Fun? Absolutely!

Let’s dive into the spooky sweetness with two cards I created using these spooktacular new goodies.

For my first card, I started with an A2 panel and brought it to life using the brand-new Spooky Trees Stencil. I added some inky splatters in those fun Halloween hues and jumped right into die-cutting with the new Halloween Cake Pop Dies.

I made an Aqua Pumpkin—because hey, who says pumpkins have to be orange? Then I created the cutest little Frankie and a sweet ghost to join the party. The background got a little wild, so I softened it with vellum using the frame from the Fancy Cake Dies—a go-to trick of mine!

To build a scene, I added a Spooky Fence Die and the tiniest spider web from the new Halloween Holder Additions Dies. For my sentiment, I used the new Halloween Greetings Stamps + Coordinating Dies for my sentiment.

And of course—embellishments galore! I wanted a festive party vibe, so I added streamers and stars using the Big Celebration Cupcake Dies, plus a couple of little bats from the Cake Pop Dies. A sprinkle of Mini Star Confetti for sparkle and ta-da!—one super cute Halloween scene done!

For my second card, I brought the spooky fun again with another inky A2 panel using the new Spooky Trees Stencil, this time with Aqua and lilac tones, plus some snowy white splatters.

Then came the star of the show: a Bat Bucket using the new Halloween Bucket Additionswith the original Candy Bucket Die Set. I’m obsessed with this bat—it’s just too cute!

I framed everything with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Dies, popped up the Bat Bucket with foam tape, and dove into embellishing. More bats, stars, spider webs, candy corn—and yes, a googly-eyed spider thanks to the new Spider Web Cover Plate Die. (Because Halloween isn’t complete without googly eyes, right?)

For the sentiment, I used the “Halloween” from the new Happy Halloween Shadow Die, paired with “Happy” from the Upright Greetings – Halloween stamp set, cut using the Sentiment Strips Dies. And because I couldn’t resist, I topped the bow on the sentiment with—you guessed it—another googly eye!
