Hello crafty friends! Christina here to share a spooktacular sneak peek. This new collection is full of spooky cute images, fun new stencils, and incredible die sets perfect for all your Halloween paper crafting projects! You’ll find four days of sneak peek inspiration here on the blog, so be sure to check back for even more frightfully fun Halloween crafting ideas.
But first, let’s take a closer look at my inspiration project featuring the cutest creepy-crawly spider you ever did see!

For my background, I started with a teal cardstock panel and spritzed it with Wonderland Mica Stain to give the panel a little shimmer. Then I layered on the Spider Web Cover Plate die-cut from plain white cardstock.
Next, I die-cut a couple of Stitched Ghosts from lavender cardstock and, for a little shading, inked the edges with whatever color was leftover on my purple blending brush. I added their cute little faces and moved on to constructing the shaker element for my card.

First, I taped the two Spider Shaker dies together with low-tack tape; that way they would die-cut exactly the same each time. Then, using dark gray cardstock, I die-cut the spider seven times. I inked the edges of the top one with a little Black Soot ink for some shading and added acetate to the back for the shaker window. I stacked the other diecuts under it, and before attaching the backer piece, I added the Spellbound shaker beads. What an easy shaker! I brought this spider to life with a smiling face and dressed her up in a green witch’s hat from the Halloween Mug Addition Dies.

Next, I stamped a couple of Halloween Word Scenes and colored them with Copic markers before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies. I also heat embossed a sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Halloween Stamp set on a black fishtail Sentiment Strip banner. To finish things up, I attached all the elements to my background panel and added a few clay embellishments from the Boo To You Mix.
