Mother’s Day Flower Garden

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a Mother’s Day box card. I’m super excited that the Scallop Box Card Die is finally available. This box is very easy to put together, I promise! It’s my new favorite box card die!

Mother's Day Flower Garden

For my card, I cut the Scallop Box Card Die pieces in kraft cardstock. I assembled it by folding the perforated tabs and gluing them onto the main piece. Next, I cut the scallop panels in white cardstock and ink blended them with Old Paper Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed some water for an oxidized effect.

Once dry, I stamped the “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment on the front scallop panel of the card.

I then stamped, colored and cut the images from the Flower Garden Stamp Set. Here are the colors that I used:

Pinks – Tombow 757/755/743
Violets – Tombow 636/633/603/660
Browns – Copic E49/47/44/43/42
Grays – Copic N7/5/3, T5/3/1/0
Greens – Copic G99/46/43, YG03/01, YG67/63/61
Yellows – Copic Y18/11

Lastly, I glued the images onto the inserts of the box to make a beautiful Spring garden scene.

Isn’t this box card die so fun? I can see myself using it over and over again, because it is easy to assemble and just so much fun to fill with your favorite stamps and dies. I know you will love this as much as I do!
