Sneak Peek: Balloon Alphabet + Balloon Numbers

Hi friends, Kavya here and I am thrilled to be sharing a sneak peek at the new Balloon Alphabet and Balloon Numbers stamps and coordinating dies as a part of this month’s release on February 10th. 

If you follow me on IG, you know that I am a huge fan of versatile stamp sets. I am not kidding when I say that this is one stamp set combo that I will find myself using often in the future. You can combine the alphabets and numbers to create general sentiments, chat lingo (like gr8, hb2u etc.), numbers for special occasions and year etc.. If you don’t want the balloon look, just snip of the triangle at the end and just think of it as a bubbly font!

For my project, I decided to create a non-birthday using the birthday release for a friend who loves desserts. I first started off by ink blending the edges of a mushroom colored cardstock using black dye ink. I splattered some white ink to make it look like sparkles. Then, I stamped and colored a bunch of images using alcohol makers from Build A Cupcake, Balloon Numbers and Balloon Alphabet from the new release and Cupcake Critters from a previous release. For the cupcakes, I added extra details like stripes on the cupcake wrapper and some sprinkles. In general, I added highlights to all the images using a white gel pen! White gel pen details definitely make the balloons more realistic in my opinion.  I then arranged them on my background using foam tape to finish off my card!
