Valentine’s Day Box Card
Hello, crafty friends! It’s Leica here and today I have a box card to share with you all. For my card, I used the Sending Love stamp set and coordinating dies.
Let’s begin! I started by building a box card using wildberry cardstock. To have the look of a patterned paper, I stamped the little envelope all over the panels. For the background panel, I used a cloud stencil and ink blended it with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. I added 2 inserts and ink blended them with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks.
Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Sending Love stamp set. I just adore these critters! I used Copic markers – E11/00/000, 31/30, 74/71/70, R24/22/20/00, and V12/01. I adhered the elements onto the inserts.
For the sentiment, I cut a speech bubble in white cardstock and lightly ink blended it with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and stamped the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment from the Valentine Wreath stamp set.
That’s all for this Valentine box card. I hope that I’ve inspired you to create one with the new Valentine stamps!
