Product Release Blog Hop

newproduct_bloghop3

Hello, sweet friends!

It’s time for the Product Release Blog Hop featuring the brand new dies I released on October 1st. This is my third die release and I must say, it’s SO fun to hear your reactions to the dies I design! Oh boy, today you all are in for a real treat. The design team and special guests have created a whole array of samples using the new dies (along with some previously released dies and sequins) and I cannot wait for you to see the AMAZING projects they made!

Before we get to their projects, I wanted to share a project that I made using the Stitched Tags die set. Pretty Pink Posh

I love using tags on my cards (as you’ve probably noticed in recent posts), but I wanted to stretch myself and use them in a new way. After some playing, I decided a colorful tag background was the way to go. Add in some polka dots (because everything is better with dots), glitter, sequins and voila!

Pretty Pink Posh

It’s been a little while since I did a start to finish card video, but since many have been asking, I thought it was time to do another one. I tried something new in the video…. I’m curious to hear what you all think of it!

PRIZES: be sure to leave comments on each stop- I’m giving away 2 $25 gift certificates to two random comments left before October 12, 2014 at 11:59 PM PDT. I’ll be announcing the winners next week, so be sure to return and see if you are one of the winners!

Ready to hop on over and see LOTS more fabulous inspiration? Each of these gals are extremely talented and I truly am honored they took the time to make something with my dies- their projects and cards are going to blow you away.

Halloween Mummy

Hello, sweet friends.

It’s Friday and I was contemplating on whether to do a post today, or just wait until the exciting post tomorrow with Ellen Hutson (for World Card Making Day). Alas, I miss blogging often and I thought you might enjoy seeing another card using the new Stitched Tags die set.

You may recognize the layout of this card- it’s similar to the winter penguin card I posted the other day. Isn’t it neat how simply changing out colors and stamps can have a card feeling completely different? These tags are so fun and I honestly cannot wait to start seeing samples from you all!

Pretty Pink Posh

Today’s card features the Friendly Mummy, Halloween Fence and Polka Dot Background from DeNami Design. I had finished the card and then realized that it need something extra- hence adding the Halloween Mix and the Lawn Fawn grass die cut out from black cardstock.

Well, I will keep this post short since I have orders to fulfill and a long post to write for tomorrow. Thanks for stopping in today!

October Products + Giveaway

Many of you have been counting down the days and now it’s here. It’s time for a new release and I may have gone a little overboard on the amount of products this time around. Since I took a break from releasing anything last month, I’m hoping you all don’t mind!

First off, I’m super excited to say that I have two brand new die sets available this month. I love mini tags and the first die set has three shapes that are perfect for tags, cards, or can be used as embellishments. Of course, I had to include the stitching because well, we all know I’m obsessed with it….

Pretty Pink Posh

In this close up photo, you can see the tags a little better. Have I mentioned that I’m a sucker for polka dots? Yup, lots of tone-on-tone polka dots going on here, but I love it. I added the Celery Chevron Twill ribbon at the top of the tags- doesn’t it bring the whole card together?

Just in case you’re wondering what set this penguin and snowflake are from, it’s called Winter Penguin and boy, do I love it. I’ll definitely be using it again.

Pretty Pink Posh

This next card doesn’t show off any new dies, but it does show off the metallic red sequins that are in the brand new 4mm Classic Christmas mix. I know many of you are prepping for Christmas cards, so I thought I would make this option available. The Christmas mix is a popular one and I’m so happy I could offer it in the popular 4mm size!

The Stitched Duo 1 is still one of my favorites and I had to break it out for this little scene card. I went a little more traditional for the colors, but don’t worry, I’ll be bringing you some whimsical and “non-traditional” Christmas cards in the future! Pretty Pink Posh

It’s hard to tell from the picture, but there’s a glittery snow slope behind Santa. Between that and the sequins on the tree and corners, this card is super sparkly!

I know that these cards don’t show all of the new products, but my video DOES show all the new products, along with peeks at more cards that I created. I’ll be sharing more cards on the blog very soon, and I just might do a new card video too!

Okay, now it’s on to one of my favorite things about new releases….a chance to give something to YOU, my amazing customers and readers. Leave a comment telling me your favorite new product from this month and one person will win the entire release!

Who is ready to do some shopping? I cannot wait to pick your orders and see what items caught your eye. Thank you to everyone who has shown your love, support and encouragement. Happy shopping!

Holiday Poinsettias

Wow, is it really the last day of September? Do you know what that means? TOMORROW is release day and I’ll be sharing a couple of cards, a reveal video and the new products will be available for purchase!

As many of you know, I love giving you sneak peeks and today’s card shows one of the new dies that will be available starting tomorrow. Can you spot it? If you said the small tag die, you are absolutely correct. This is part of a trio of dies and I think you’re going to love them!

Pretty Pink Posh

Last month, I shared the Impress Botanical Wreath set and I pulled it out again for today’s card. How pretty are those poinsettia blossoms? Love them in the rich Raspberry Jam ink from Hero Arts. (See below for the product list)

Lately I have been loving gold, but I thought I’d break out the silver for this holiday card. I added a few Metallic Silver sequins, along with a small silver jingle bell. I just love these little bells!

Pretty Pink Posh

For some reason, the holidays make me want to break out the glitter and I added a touch to the poinsettia flowers. All sorts of sparkly goodness on this one!

Just in case you missed the news in my last post, I have a new podcast episode up with my friends at ScrapOwl. If you listen to the episode, let me know what your favorite part was! I always get so nervous doing these sorts of things, so any feedback from you gives me courage to more things like this in the future!

Well, I’m going to close this post.  I will see you bright and early tomorrow for a new post and the unveiling of the new products!

Winter Bunnies and More!

Okay, has this month flown by for anyone else? Even though I didn’t do a release this month, I’m amazed at how busy I have been. I’ve been working up a storm designing new dies for the new year, along with working on packaging products for October AND creating samples. It’s been a fun week and let’s just say that my studio is evident of this fact. (In other words, it’s a disaster)

I recently purchased a ton of new stamps and as soon as I finished filming my haul video, I started crafting. Oh my goodness, I have a million ideas stuffed in this brain of mine- I hope I can create at least a small handful of them. Now I know it’s a tad early to share Christmas projects, so I won’t go full on Christmas just yet. I’m still creating Fall, Thanksgiving and everyday cards, but I’ll sprinkle in Christmas cards here and there.

snowbunny1a

I’m slightly obsessed with the Sparkling Clear sequins I carry- in 4mm, 6mm and 8mm sizes- and I just realized they make the perfect little “snowballs” on cards. Seriously, how cute do these snowballs look with the bunnies from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day set?

Did you happen to notice that I used the Stitched Duo 1 tag and window die? I think it looks so cute with this winter scene and the bunnies!

I mentioned my haul video at the beginning of this post, so I thought I would include it.

I couldn’t close this post until I shared a sneak peek with my blog readers. I shared this photo on my social media sites, but I know that some of you only follow my blog, so I didn’t want you to miss out. Here’s a peek at just a little bit of the new embellishment kit that’s releasing on October 1st.

That’s going to close out today’s post. Whew, there was all sorts of fun stuff in this post! What did you enjoy the most? The card, video, sneak peek? Let me know so I can be sure to keep on bringing more of what you love!

Mix and Match

Have you had a weekend pass you  by and you felt like you accomplished a lot? That’s what happened to me this weekend. Honestly, this feeling hasn’t happened in SO long (due to my health issues and low energy), but things are starting to look up and I can’t wait to tackle even more! Watch out…. once I’m closer to full health, I have all sorts of plans and ideas that I’ve been putting on hold!

Today I have another card to share using the Seattle Christmas set, along with the newly purchased Snow Day set from Lawn Fawn. Many of you know that I love mixing and matching my stamp sets and I was pleasantly surprised to see how perfectly these ones go together.

seattle1a

We are about 2 1/2 weeks away from my October release, but I couldn’t resist adding one of the new products to this card. Can you spot it? These next few weeks, I’ll be teasing the new goodies big time… I hope you all saved up since I didn’t release anything this month! *wink*

Christmas in September + GIVEAWAY

impressIt’s funny, when I first opened the Pretty Pink Posh Shop, I naively thought I would have more time to create. Silly me! Nowadays, I have to purposefully plan ahead and schedule days/ times to craft, or it will never happen. Sometimes it’s hard to get the creativity going, but every now and then, a stamp set will inspire me and then I have to force myself to stop so I can get sleep!

Today’s post showcases three brand new stamps sets from Impress Rubber Stamps that not only were easy to dive into, they also go my creativity going on overtime. I whipped these three cards up, all while drinking just one Starbucks drink! That, my friends, is a good craft day. *wink*

impress4a

This first card is the simple one of the bunch, but it would be perfect for mass producing! I used the Stitched Duo 1 die for my focal point, along with the scallop from the Stitched Borders 1. I used one of the sprigs from the Botanical Wreath set and then masked the Space Needle and stamped the sentiment (from the Seattle Christmas set). To dress it up a little bit more, I added some Sparkling Clear sequins and twine and voila!

 impress4b

This next card features the same sprig from the card above, but I used it to create my own wreath. I LOVED working with the Botanical Wreath set because of the endless possibilities and the great images solid images. Once I finished the wreath, I thought it lacked color and dimension, so I pulled out my trusty 4mm sequins (in Raspberry and Metallic Gold). Not only did it add color and dimension, it made it more festive as well!

impress1a

Last, but certainly not least, I created a shaker card that shows off the Seattle Christmas set and some snowflakes from Build A Snowman. I don’t know if you could tell, but I used a lot of blue, green and red/ pink on today’s card. I love the way this color combination looks so perfect for Christmas and also reflects the Pacific Northwest. Speaking of which, something exciting is coming that Impress will be carrying exclusively (outside of my shop). Stay tuned for that!

For those new to shaker cards, I did a Sequin Shaker video tutorial a while back that shows how simple shaker cards can be. I personally always got intimidated by them, so I streamlined the process and you can see the results are super fun!

impress2a

Here’s a closer view of the shaker card. Don’t the Sparkling Clear, Aquamarine and Raspberry sequins look good together? It’s so fresh and festive!

impress2b

Since today was a special post, I also found some time to film a quick little video. I show these cards a little more in depth, along with a peek at the three stamp sets I featured in this post. This is a new kind of video (for me), so let me know what you think!

Okay, now onto the super fun part of today’s post…. the GIVEAWAY part! These three sets were graciously donated by Impress Rubber Stamps for this post and I can’t wait for one of you to win it!

I hope that you enjoyed today’s cards, video and giveaway and you’re leaving inspired. Thanks for spending some time with me today!

A New Designer + Matching Game

It’s the first of the month and typically, I release new products on this day. With the craziness of planning the Cutting Edge Blog Hop, planning some top secret collaborations and then designing new products, I decided I would take this month off from releasing anything new.

That’s GOOD NEWS for many of you- that means your wallet can take a mini break. For those who have been wanting to purchase any of the PPP dies or sequins, I recently added more stock to the store and I’ll also be getting a HUGE shipment of sequins within the next few weeks. I plan on stocking the store up to the brim, along with adding some new sequin colors and mixes in October!

Don’t worry, I still have something fun to share with you all today. I’m so honored to announce that I am adding a new designer to the Pretty Pink Posh team. She was recently one of my special guests and I loved her work/ videos so much, I just had to add her to the team! Please welcome the talented, sweet and YouTube extraordinaire Nichol Magouirk!

In honor of this special day, and the fact that I love hosting giveaways, I’m offering up a $50 Pretty Pink Posh gift certificate! How can you win? Guess which designer made which card below. These cards can be found on their blog, so it won’t be too terribly hard to match them up.

From those who guess correctly, I’ll put them into a drawing and one lucky person will get a $50 shopping spree to the Pretty Pink Posh Shop. Whether you want to catch up on previous releases, or want to hold out until the new products next month, this will come in handy! guessthedesigner

Thank you all for your excitement. I’ll be back in a little bit with the last installment of the Design Teams 101 series. Happy guessing!

Birthday Monsters

Hello, sweet friends!

Oh goodness, I am blown away by the response of the Cutting Edge Blog Hop this weekend. As I’m writing this, we are at 167 entries, but I’m hoping we can pass the 200 mark! It has been SO fun to browse your entries, see all the love and comments being left and I’m hoping that many have found new blogs to follow, too!

In the crazy prep of the blog hop, I was stressing myself out on creating a “perfect die cut” card and then I realized the post was way too long for me to include one. Silly me! Anyhow, now I have some cards to share in the future.

partymonsters1a

Today’s card features a recent addition to the PPP lines of dies- the Stitched Film Strip. I absolutely love this die and it makes me so happy to see and read that you all are enjoying it as well. I just shipped a TON of these dies out in orders, so I’m looking forward to seeing even more of your cards in the future.

Aren’t these monsters adorable? They are actually one stamp that I cut apart! It’s called the Happy Monster Party and it’s by DeNami Design. I used them on THIS CARD and video and I still can’t put it down.

I have several posts planned for this week, so you’ll be hearing from me again soon. Thank you for spending some time with me today!

Peek-A-Boo Robots

Countdown to the Cutting Edge Blog Hop: only 2 more days!

Wow, where has this month gone? It seems like it was just yesterday where I was announcing the blog hop and now, it’s just a couple days away. I hope that you’ve been counting down the days…. there’s so many great sponsors and the prizes are fantastic!

Today I wanted to share a sweet and simple card with you showcasing two die cuts- the Stitched Film Strip and the Mama Elephant Basics Set (which is a must have in my book). Some may be intimidated by the theme of the blog hop, but honestly, you can use one die cut or a dozen on your project. Whether you want to use a die cut that you just purchased, or some of your well loved ones, this is the time to break them out!

Pretty Pink Posh I Robots

I love my pinks and purples, but every now and then, I like to pull out just the blues and greens. Don’t they look adorable with the Friendly Robot and Teeny Star Background from DeNami Design?  Such a fun combo!

Pretty Pink Posh I Robots

In closing, I want to leave you with a few sneak peeks of the projects that the design team and special guests have created. Let me tell you, if you enjoy dies, you are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE this blog hop. The inspiration is already jaw dropping and I haven’t even seen YOUR creations yet!

If you haven’t taken a peek at the info page for the Cutting Edge Blog Hop, CLICK HERE.

I’ve been busy picking and packing some wholesale orders, so be on the lookout for PPP sequins and dies in your favorite retailers soon. I’m so grateful for all of the support and your patience with this one woman show. The past few weeks I’ve been dealing with health issues again, so things are running a little slower than usual. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back into the full swing of things soon!

That’s a wrap for today’s post. Big hugs to you all!
