Everyday Notecards + Giveaway

It’s December 1st and that means it’s officially been one year since I opened the Pretty Pink Posh Shop. These last twelve months have been a wild ride. They were filled with surprises, unexpected opportunities, encouragement, love, support and many, many orders. If I had to choose word word to describe how I’m feeling right now, it would be GRATEFUL.

While I have a ton of Black Friday orders to fulfill, I wanted to stop and take the time to say thank you. Thank you to those who have purchased from me, or purchased my products through one of my retailers. Thank you to those who have stopped to email, comment or mail a card to say how much you enjoy my products. Thank you to those who have been there for me when I doubted myself and didn’t know if I had made the right move to do this full-time. Thank you to those who create with my products and share them on your blog or social media. Thank you to YOU, my amazing readers. I am truly blessed by you.

Okay, now let me get to my notecards and the giveaway info…

Everyday Notecards + Giveaway

Can I let you in on a secret? I actually created these back in July and never got around to posting them. Every now and then, I create a bunch of cards and then I either don’t have time to blog them all, or they don’t fit with the season, or my style changes. These fall into the first category… I actually love how they turned out, but I kept forgetting to re-photograph the cards. A sunny day came and I finally got around to taking photos and voila!

Everyday Notecards + Giveaway

These cards feature the adorable Studiol2e Special Delivery set. I paper pieced them with some patterned paper, layered it onto the Stitched Duo 2 and added the scallop from the Stitched Borders 1 set, embellished with some sequins and layered it onto some pieces of cardstock. Super easy, but they beat any card you get in the greeting card aisle!

Everyday Notecards + Giveaway

I have to say, the little sentiments that are included in this set are perfect. On my first notecard, I used the “just a note”, but on this second one, I decided to use the “a little bit of happy mail” sentiment. As many of you know, when I send out my orders I attach a label that says “happy mail” on the outside, so I especially love this sentiment. Who doesn’t love happy mail?!

Everyday Notecards + Giveaway

My sweet friend and owner of Studiol2e, Kanani, who generously donated this set for this giveaway (along with another set that I’ll be giving away in a future post). If you haven’t already, be sure to check out her other stamps. She is a HUGE inspiration to me and my business and if you’re a planner addict, you will LOVE her and her line of stamps.

excitingnewsNow you may be asking if I’m doing something to celebrate this occasion…. I am! However, I wanted to make sure it was a special event and with the hubbub of Christmas, I decided to postpone the festivities a month. So, come January, be ready for new products, a three day event and lots of special guests and inspiration.

Okay, I really should be wrapping up this post and getting back to fulfilling orders. Thank you again for allowing me to live my dream and being so supportive and encouraging. I’ll chat with you all soon!

October/ November Craft Haul + GIVEAWAY

I’ll admit it, I totally slacked in the video department last month. October was ridiculously overcast and rainy here in Seattle, which meant lighting was messed up and let’s all be honest, bad lighting in videos is not appealing. With that being said, it’s been sunny the last three days and I’ve filmed three videos. Stay tuned for those soon!

I know many of you enjoy my craft hauls, so I thought I would combine my October and November haul into one video.  I’m doing a giveaway in this video for an exclusive, sold out set, so be sure to click over to YouTube to get those details and enter.

borderIn closing, I wanted to share that PPP designer, Nichol, started a new organizational series on her blog and for her first installment, she shared how she stores her sequins. I know that many of you will be inspired by her tips and tricks, PLUS, today is the last day to enter her giveaway for a $25 PPP gift certificate! nichol_storageI hope that you enjoyed today’s video and the storage inspiration by Nichol. Don’t forget to enter the two giveaways I mentioned in this post!

Thanks for spending some time with me today. XO

Santa Joy + Giveaway

As some of you may have noticed, I haven’t done a new release this month….yet. I have products all ready and the goal is to have them all up by November 15th. We’re expecting some sunny days this week, which means I get to film some videos and get these product photos taken care of. Oy, with this overcast and rainy weather, it’s so hard to get some of my day-to-day things done!

Today I wanted to share a card that I may using some Mama Elephant stamps- you know I love them! For this card I used the Cozy Christmas and Block Party Letters sets to create a mini scene. I’ll come right out and say that I think the metallic red sequins on the Christmas tree ties this card together. No fussy bows or twine on this card- just some basic stamping, coloring and sequins!

mamaelephant3a

For those who are wondering the best adhesive to use for sequins, I HIGHLY recommend the Studio Multi Medium Matte. It dries clear, has a super strong hold and you can add as much, or as little, as you want to secure your embellishments. You can find it at Simon Says Stamp HERE or Ellen Hutson HERE.

GIVEAWAY ALERT: I’m giving away an extra Cozy Christmas set that I purchased in this post. With the holidays right around the corner, be on the lookout for all sorts of giveaways on  my blog and social media accounts. I’ve purchased all sorts of goodies to give away to YOU, my amazing readers and customers!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

That’s going to wrap up today’s little post. I’ll see some of you later on my social media sites- I just love interacting with you all on my Facebook page and Instagram– reading your sweet comments and always makes my day a little brighter!

Until next time…

Christmas in September + GIVEAWAY

impressIt’s funny, when I first opened the Pretty Pink Posh Shop, I naively thought I would have more time to create. Silly me! Nowadays, I have to purposefully plan ahead and schedule days/ times to craft, or it will never happen. Sometimes it’s hard to get the creativity going, but every now and then, a stamp set will inspire me and then I have to force myself to stop so I can get sleep!

Today’s post showcases three brand new stamps sets from Impress Rubber Stamps that not only were easy to dive into, they also go my creativity going on overtime. I whipped these three cards up, all while drinking just one Starbucks drink! That, my friends, is a good craft day. *wink*

impress4a

This first card is the simple one of the bunch, but it would be perfect for mass producing! I used the Stitched Duo 1 die for my focal point, along with the scallop from the Stitched Borders 1. I used one of the sprigs from the Botanical Wreath set and then masked the Space Needle and stamped the sentiment (from the Seattle Christmas set). To dress it up a little bit more, I added some Sparkling Clear sequins and twine and voila!

 impress4b

This next card features the same sprig from the card above, but I used it to create my own wreath. I LOVED working with the Botanical Wreath set because of the endless possibilities and the great images solid images. Once I finished the wreath, I thought it lacked color and dimension, so I pulled out my trusty 4mm sequins (in Raspberry and Metallic Gold). Not only did it add color and dimension, it made it more festive as well!

impress1a

Last, but certainly not least, I created a shaker card that shows off the Seattle Christmas set and some snowflakes from Build A Snowman. I don’t know if you could tell, but I used a lot of blue, green and red/ pink on today’s card. I love the way this color combination looks so perfect for Christmas and also reflects the Pacific Northwest. Speaking of which, something exciting is coming that Impress will be carrying exclusively (outside of my shop). Stay tuned for that!

For those new to shaker cards, I did a Sequin Shaker video tutorial a while back that shows how simple shaker cards can be. I personally always got intimidated by them, so I streamlined the process and you can see the results are super fun!

impress2a

Here’s a closer view of the shaker card. Don’t the Sparkling Clear, Aquamarine and Raspberry sequins look good together? It’s so fresh and festive!

impress2b

Since today was a special post, I also found some time to film a quick little video. I show these cards a little more in depth, along with a peek at the three stamp sets I featured in this post. This is a new kind of video (for me), so let me know what you think!

Okay, now onto the super fun part of today’s post…. the GIVEAWAY part! These three sets were graciously donated by Impress Rubber Stamps for this post and I can’t wait for one of you to win it!

May Wish List + Giveaway!

maywishlist

Hello and Happy Friday!

Today I’m bringing my (monthly) On the Wish List feature back to the blog. I’ve been so busy with my full-time job on top of my Pretty Pink Posh work… sadly, this feature got temporarily put on the back burner. I’m still trying to find a groove and rhythm of fitting everything I need to do into my daily life, but I’ll get there….eventually.

With Mother’s Day right around the corner, I wanted to let you all know about a 20% Ellen Hutson coupon code.  After all, we all like saving a little money on crafty goodness!

momsday14In case you’re overwhelemed with the amount of crafting goodness there is, I’ll share what on MY wish list right now. Yes, a couple items are ones I’ve listed in the past, but I still haven’t purchased the items. (So many cute items, so little money!)

I wanted to also share some of my current craft favorites….in case you still haven’t gotten a chance to pick them up. These items are tried and true products I love- I hope you love them just as much as I do!

You all know I absolutely ADORE Ellen and her team and I wanted to offer up a $25 gift certificate in honor of Mother’s Day. Ellen truly is one of my biggest cheerleaders and I’m SO blessed to have her carry my products. Also, stay tuned- very soon she’ll have all of my 4mm sequins on her site!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

I plan on taking the weekend off from packaging orders and sneak some craft time in. Granted, it’s not exactly a work-free weekend, but it’ll be a nice break. You can bet I’ll have a Starbucks cup nearby (a HUGE thank you to those who sent over donations! I’ll be sending handmade thank you cards to you very soon!)

Have a splendid weekend!

Giveaway Winner & Thank You

Hello and Happy Monday!

I had hoped to bring you my haul video and post today, but I had to put that on hold so I could get more Pretty Pink Posh orders out. WOW, I am utterly blown away by the response this weekend. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who ordered. I truly cannot say how much it means to me.

As promised, I’m announcing the winner of the $25 Ellen Hutson gift certificate I posted about HERE. It was so fun to read your wish lists and I have a feeling I’ll be doing something like this again. Truth be told, many of you have been using my Ellen Hutson affiliate link and this allowed me to host this giveaway!  Basically, if you order through my link, I get a small commission and this in turn helps offset the costs of my hosting and such, and also allows me to do giveaways! It’s a win-win-win all the way around!

Okay, now let’s announce the winner, shall we?

Congratulations to Nicole Mullen

Nicole, I’ll be purchasing the Ellen Hutson gift certificate later today, so be sure to keep an eye in your Inbox for it!

Thank you again to those who ordered from the Pretty Pink Posh Shop this weekend, and also those who entered this giveaway. It’s been such a fun week and as soon as I can, I’ll be posting the haul video and another card post.

Sending big hugs to each of you. Hope your week is off to a great start!

Trio of Cards + GIVEAWAY

One of my favorite things at the moment? Receiving emails from new (to me) companies allowing me to try out and test their products. What’s even better? Upon using said products, finding out their products are amazing and getting the opportunity to introduce them to my amazing readers.

A few weeks back, I was introduced to the company Pinkfresh Studio and upon looking at their products, I got giddy at the opportunity to try them out. I was immediately drawn to the Retro Instaframes and I couldn’t wait to try them out. I know these frames would look darling on scrapbook pages, but y’all know I’m a card maker and I wanted to try them out on cards. Oh my goodness, L-O-V-E!

This first card features the yellow instaframe. I know we’re in the middle of fall, but that doesn’t mean we can’t bring out some bright, happy colors! I wanted to shake things up a bit and instead of making everything match, I added pops of black rhinestones and some black twine. I love how it looks against these bright colors!

prettypinkposh_pinkfresh3aProducts Used: WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals, Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card, Hero Arts Pale Tomato, Pear Tart Memento, Love Letter Memento, Tuxedo Black Memento, Pinkfresh Studio Retro Instaframes

This next card features the pink heart instaframe- how cute is this? I used some patterned paper I’ve been holding onto and was thrilled it matched the feel of the cards so perfectly. Another happy find? The hearts from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card fits inside the framed hearts!

prettypinkposh_pinkfresh4aProducts Used: WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals, Mama Elephant Many Thanks, Hero Arts Fresh Peach, Hero Arts Butter Bar, Hero Arts Orange Soda, Hero Arts Green Hills, Tuxedo Black Memento, Pinkfresh Studio Retro Instaframes

On the last card I’ve created, I decided to create a Christmas card. I won’t lie, I had so much fun creating this one! Not only did I get to use the olive instaframe, I got to pull out some of my favorite Christmas stamps. Did you happen to notice the olive brad sticker on the ribbon? That’s part of a pack that is also for sale at Pinkfresh Studio!

Giveaway!

This month has been full of excitement, prizes and all sorts of fun. In keeping with the theme, I have another giveaway to share with you all and I will admit I’ve been brought back to my childhood in this post. For those who have little girls in your life, you all are going to LOVE this sponsor and her sweet products.

Do you remember growing up having those pretty hair bows in your hair? My mom used to do all three of our girls hair in braids and included clips and bows. While I didn’t always appreciate it at the time (mostly because my hair was unruly and it hurt when she brushed it), I now love looking at the pictures with the pretty hair accessories.

I recently was introduced to Turnip Creations, an Etsy site that has all sorts of headbands and hair clips. As soon as the pictures popped up on the screen, I was all smiles. The colors choices, the pretty designs and just the whole idea of getting to doll up the little girls in your life, I was so giddy that I was going to be able to see these products first-hand and do a giveaway for all of you!

headband_giveawaySince I don’t have any little girls of my own, I reached out to one of my close friend and asked if her girls would be willing to model these pretty hair accessories. I’ve known these girls from the day they were born and I even lived with and babysat the older one for a short time. These girls are precious to me and I adore when they surprise me at work with hugs and chatter. In addition, they make perfect little models!

Now that you’ve seen just two of these cute hair accessories, I’m sure you want to get some of your own! The lovely owner of Turnip Creations has offered up a $25 gift certificate to her shop and the winner will also get free shipping on that order!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Now if you want to stock up on these cute hair accessories, I have a 15% off coupon code to share! These are so reasonably priced already, but an extra savings never hurts! These would make such adorable presents for any little girl in your life!

headband_couponBe sure to take a peek at Turnip Creations and all of the cute products. Thanks for stopping by and spending some time with me today. I’m hoping to be back tomorrow as it’ll be a big day for me- it marks the one year mark of my accident and I have an update to share.

Fresh Summer Roses + GIVEAWAY

Do you ever see a stamp set and fall in love instantly? That’s what happened as soon as I saw the sketches that Nami did for what is now the Solid Rose Accents set {that just released today over at DeNami Design}. The rose captured  my heart and I knew the possibilities with it would be endless. I have definitely found my new favorite stamp set!

I wanted to go use some bright and happy colors and chose  melon/ berry colors as my base. After playing with these roses, I had to restrain myself from going out in search of flowers these colors!  I’m such a sucker for fresh cut flowers, especially ones in pretty colors!

prettypinkposh_loveyou1a

You may have noticed that I faintly stamped the roses on my main panel. Since I didn’t have any good light colored inks that matched it, I did the tried and true stamp on scratch paper/ stamp on panel trick. I haven’t done this in ages, but it got the job done for this project!

prettypinkposh_loveyou1c

Since this set JUST released today and I want to pass on my love of it, I purchased one to giveaway!  To enter, you just need to tell me what your favorite flower is! Easy peasy!  I’ll run the giveaway through the weekend and announce it on the blog Monday, July 15th.

solidroseI hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday. For those of you who plan on shopping over at DeNami later on, HAPPY SHOPPING!
