Everyday Notecards + Giveaway

It’s December 1st and that means it’s officially been one year since I opened the Pretty Pink Posh Shop. These last twelve months have been a wild ride. They were filled with surprises, unexpected opportunities, encouragement, love, support and many, many orders. If I had to choose word word to describe how I’m feeling right now, it would be GRATEFUL.

While I have a ton of Black Friday orders to fulfill, I wanted to stop and take the time to say thank you. Thank you to those who have purchased from me, or purchased my products through one of my retailers. Thank you to those who have stopped to email, comment or mail a card to say how much you enjoy my products. Thank you to those who have been there for me when I doubted myself and didn’t know if I had made the right move to do this full-time. Thank you to those who create with my products and share them on your blog or social media. Thank you to YOU, my amazing readers. I am truly blessed by you.

Okay, now let me get to my notecards and the giveaway info…

Everyday Notecards + Giveaway

Can I let you in on a secret? I actually created these back in July and never got around to posting them. Every now and then, I create a bunch of cards and then I either don’t have time to blog them all, or they don’t fit with the season, or my style changes. These fall into the first category… I actually love how they turned out, but I kept forgetting to re-photograph the cards. A sunny day came and I finally got around to taking photos and voila!

Everyday Notecards + Giveaway

These cards feature the adorable Studiol2e Special Delivery set. I paper pieced them with some patterned paper, layered it onto the Stitched Duo 2 and added the scallop from the Stitched Borders 1 set, embellished with some sequins and layered it onto some pieces of cardstock. Super easy, but they beat any card you get in the greeting card aisle!

Everyday Notecards + Giveaway

I have to say, the little sentiments that are included in this set are perfect. On my first notecard, I used the “just a note”, but on this second one, I decided to use the “a little bit of happy mail” sentiment. As many of you know, when I send out my orders I attach a label that says “happy mail” on the outside, so I especially love this sentiment. Who doesn’t love happy mail?!

Everyday Notecards + Giveaway

My sweet friend and owner of Studiol2e, Kanani, who generously donated this set for this giveaway (along with another set that I’ll be giving away in a future post). If you haven’t already, be sure to check out her other stamps. She is a HUGE inspiration to me and my business and if you’re a planner addict, you will LOVE her and her line of stamps.

excitingnewsNow you may be asking if I’m doing something to celebrate this occasion…. I am! However, I wanted to make sure it was a special event and with the hubbub of Christmas, I decided to postpone the festivities a month. So, come January, be ready for new products, a three day event and lots of special guests and inspiration.

Okay, I really should be wrapping up this post and getting back to fulfilling orders. Thank you again for allowing me to live my dream and being so supportive and encouraging. I’ll chat with you all soon!

  50. Hi Paulina! You are so sweet. I’ve not commented often, but enjoy your blog and ability to be human in the midst of your journey. I’m so glad your business has taken off and done well. You are an inspiration to us all. I sent my sweet Aunt Wilma a, Think of You, card a month or so ago. She’s crafty. I’m crafty. LOL I’m 51 and I cherish the Barbie doll clothes she made for me when I was a child. She lost her husband 2 years ago and I think of her often. I spent many nights at her house with her daughters that are 1 and 2 years older than I. Such good memories.

  58. Hi Paulina,

Congratulations on your anniversary.. and a very all the best..

I last mailed a card before 3 months ago to my darling hubby when i was at my home town with my parents (i went there for my delivery.. and when my son was 2 months old i mailed that card). As i was missing him madly i thought i will surprise him with a card at his office (mailed the card to his office address).. and i did.. succeeded.. :-)

  59. What pretty cards!! Cute stamp set! I mailed my last card just yesterday! My sister fractured a bone in her hand so she’s in a cast. This is the worst time for her as my whole family descend on her for Christmas and I know she’s trying, single-handedly, to get ready for us. Wish I could do more but being 700 miles away – the card was the best I could do.

  60. I just sent out my Christmas cards! I’m just getting back into crafting after a few years away and love all the new techniques. After watching your videos, I decided that my Christmas cards needed a little more sparkle and added a few of your sparkling clear sequins that I bought from Impress. They looked 10x better! Thanks for the inspiration.

  61. To be honest I can’t remember the last I personally have mailed a card. However I hope to change that this year and send a bunch of Homemade Christmas cards to friends and family. However i’m a bit scared I have barely started crafting. I have a few things but not to many. However I love this challenge and if I mess up then friends and family will see my improvement in their Christmas cards as time goes by:)

  62. Cute cards! The pop of color from your paper piecing inside the envelopes add the perfect touch. Can’t wait to see your new products next month!

  63. Hi Paulina, Such cute cards – i love the little envelopes… Your “style” of cardmaking is beautiful – i love the way you layer the cards…

  66. I love these little notecards! And the sentiments are super sweet as well! Thank you for the chance to win some goodies!

  67. Isn’t it terrible, I can’t actually remember the last time I mailed a card. Have a funny feeling it was a sympathy card…. So sad that I don’t get to send cards much anymore. Must see if I can give all my boxes of cards to someone.

    1. Maybe you could give the to a retirement home or to Operation Write Home or to a Women’s Shelter. Jennifer McGuire co-runs Caring Hearts (this year’s deadline has passed, but there is always next year). I hope that helps. ;-)

  75. I haven’t mailed a card in a loooong time. But you have inspired me too!

THANK YOU for the chance to win some CRAFTY AWESOMENESS!!!

  88. Such gorgeous cards!! Love the paper piecing you did on the envelopes! Glad you were able to share them with us finally!! Happy Anniversary and congrats on your year of success!! Here’s to many more!!

I’ve been slowly sending out holiday cards all week! Thank you for the opportunity to win. I LOVE PPP!!!

  89. My last mailing was a week ago, also hand delivered a gift with handmade tag. I love your cards, and also this stamp set…like you said “Who doesn’t like happy mail?”

  92. These cards are gorgeous! I hope someday to be as creative. I mail out cards pretty regularly, and will probably have one ready for the mail tomorrow.

  93. Actually thinking about it I have never mailed a handmade card of mine, as I never think they are any good for people to buy and use, therefore only hand out to my family mainly. but hopefully this week can make some cards that I don’t think there are many around of and be happy with the end product to sell. Thanks for a chance to try and win something gorgeous.
