Today’s card features stamps from the Woodland Wonders and Wild Birthday sets from Avery Elle. If you know me, you know I love shaker cards, so I decided to make a shaker. I thought it paired so well with the animals and the banner was the perfect size to top my card!
I honestly couldn’t stop playing with these critters- I made three cards with them! I love how they have a cute and whimsy look to them and the possibilities are endless!
My go-to mix for shaker card is my popular Sparkling Clear Mix. Since it has four sizes mixed together, it makes it super easy. To add just a bit more iridescence, I added in the Iridescent Mini Circle Confetti, also releasing in August.

I am so excited it’s finally time to share about this special collaboration blog hop that I’ve been keeping a secret. I’ve been a long-time fan of Avery Elle(pretty much since the beginning!) and I’ve had the great privilege to work with Jamie and her team on several occasions pre- PPP days. I thought it was time to bring our two companies together for a two day blog hop filled with inspiration from both teams featuring both companies!
It’s been quite a while since I got to craft and I was beyond giddy to pull out my Avery Elle sets and create. For today’s card, I used the adorable Woodland Wonders set and paired it with the Peek-A-Boo, Stitched Duo 2 and Scallop Frames die sets.
I adore these cute critters and thought having them peek out from the Peek-A-Boodie was a cute idea. I like how this looks, especially with the stitching element on the outside. To finish the “scene” I added those little grass elements and thought the little purple flowers from theLilac Garden Flowers Mix looked cute with it.
It’s rare that I create a card without adding the Sparkling Clear Mix and for this card, I changed it up and had it be part of my background! I put down a bunch of Multi Medium Matte and then added the sequins to the background. Such a fun look and it really makes the card shine in person!

Hello, Pretty Pink Posh fans! This is Yana and I’m excited to share a simple see-through shaker card tutorial today. I’m usually not a big fan of shakers, but with the right tools (and by tools I mean dies designed specifically for shakers) I’m starting to enjoy this type of cards more and more.
My today’s shaker is a see-through one, I’m using a card base with some printed texture/design and you can actually see that print through the window and through the sequins. Typically I close my shakers with white cardstock, but for this card I used clear acetate on both front and back of the shaker piece.
To create this card you’ll first need to create a few elements, I’m using the Rainy Days stamp set and matching dies along with Versafine Onyx Black ink, watercolor paper and watercolors to create mine. I stamped the umbrella and a cloud in black ink, heat set with my heat tool, did some very quick watercolor in blue and cut the shapes out using matching dies.
For my watercolors I used Daniel Smith watercolor sampler sheet (simply because there’s a huge number of blues to choose from), but these can be colored using any colors or any mediums really.
After you’ve stamped, colored and die cut the umbrella use glue and adhere the pieces together. I used Multi Medium adhesive in Matte.
While glue on the umbrella is drying go ahead and die cut the shaker front panel – I’m using Stitched Duo 2 diesand white cardstock. I’ve cut my dies apart as I recently used the inner die to create a continuous pattern for my card, you can see it here so I used washi tape to hold them together and I also used the connector pieces (what’s left of them) to alight the two dies perfectly. I also used a die from the Stitched Essentials 1 set and die cut just a little tail to go under my shaker. I didn’t need to cut the entire shape out as it would have been hidden anyways and I was making a see-through shaker so I needed it to actually not be there to look pretty.
Next go ahead and slide the umbrella through the Stitched Duo 2 dies and secure in place. You can skip this and just adhere the umbrella on top, but I thought it looked extra fun this way. I also die cut two rectangles out of clear acetate using the outer die from the Stitched Duo 2 set. This can be done using scissors, but if there is a die for that, why not use it, right? I adhered one from the back of my die cut cardstock piece.
Use foam adhesive to build the walls of your shaker. I usually use various types and brands of foam adhesive for that, but recently I came across this super thick foam dot adhesive from Studio G (you can find it at Michaels and similar stores). I rarely use adhesive that is this thick for my usual cardmaking as I find it to be just too dimensional, but it works perfectly for shakers and it’s very inexpensive too.
So build your shaker walls, use an anti static powder tool to eliminate the stick on the sides of the foam adhesive and add the sequins of your choice. For this project I went with the Gold Mini Star Confetti. I love these tiny confetti sequins and I’ve actually used a few packs to make an oversized layout shaker, you can see it here. Close up the shaker with another piece of clear acetate and continue making your card.
To finish this project I adhered my shaker onto an A2 top folding card base, foam mounted the watercolor cloud and added a sentiment. I stamped Get Well Soon onto the shaker itself and also heat embossed Sorry You’re Under The Weather in white onto black cardstock.
I couldn’t resist adding a few more sequins, so I adhered several 4mm Metallic Gold sequins to complete this card.
Good morning Pretty Pink Posh friends! Heather here to share a couple of fun cards I made by dressing up some papers from a 6×6 paper pad with PPP dies and sequins – these cards are amazingly simple to make, and yet with a few simple steps they look like you spent lots of time on them!
Am I the only one who hoards (I mean, COLLECTS!) pattern papers? I’ve gotten pretty good at using them, since I’ve learned that I will definitely be adding more all the time, and will constantly have a new favorite, so I may as well enjoy the current favorite by actually using it! However, some of those pattern paper pads have the extra pre-decorated patterns that are almost a stand alone on as a card, but when I use them, I like to dress them up a little to make them a bit more unique! PPP sequins and border dies are the perfect way to do that!
Here is the paper pad I used, as well as the pattern papers I chose. The top right pattern papers I trimmed to fit an A2 card front, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, and the bottom images are from two sides of one piece of paper that I cut apart.
I selected two different borders from Stitched Borders 1 Dies, starting with the scallop, and cut it to fit on each side of my pre-designed portion of the paper.
On this photo you can see how I first trimmed one side with the zig-zag, layed the pre-designed portion over the top, then used Post-it tape to attach the die on the other side for perfect placement before running through my Big Shot die cut machine.

Next, I used kids fun foam and my tape runner to attach them to the card front for some sturdy dimension.
Hello friends! I am so happy you are joining me for another video tutorial, this time featuring a fun circle shaker card and Copic coloring techniques!
I love the Scallop Circle dies, which are one of Pretty Pink Posh’s fabulous, exclusive die sets! These dies are perfect for creating windows, shakers, frames and more. Today I’ve used the die to create both a shaker and a frame for the Copic colored flower scene inside.
The flower is from Hero Art’s Marianne’s Flowers stamp set; Isn’t that rose pretty? I used my Copic markers to color the rose and background.
In the video I have for you (see below), I’ll be walking you through the coloring, as well as how I created texture on the leaves and sky. For reference, I’ve listed out the Copic colors used in today’s project below and in the video:

Leaves: YG61, YG63, YG67, YG97

Julia here with a shaker card featuring the awesome heart shaped confetti in the colors gold, silver, and iridescent. The confetti pieces are very small, and they are flat, which makes them absolutely perfect for a shaker card without much bulk!
I started out by die cutting a scalloped edge on the long side of some pink card stock using one of the dies from the Stitched Borders 1 die set. I just love the little stitched detail in each scallop – it’s details like this that take a card design to the next level.
Next, I used the Scallop Circles die to die-cut a window into my pink panel. You get a circular shape (the outside edge of the die), but the die gives you another – second – piece which is circular with a scallop border on the inside.
I die cut that shape again from silver glitter paper and then adhered it on top of some acetate – the acetate was adhered to the back of my pink panel with some adhesive tape. I added some foam tape on the back of the panel around my window, making sure that I had a closed “border” which would hold my sequins securely. I poured the confetti on my card base and then adhered the front panel to it, trapping the sequins.
My cute birdie, which I colored with Copic Markers, is from the Birdie Notes mini stamp set. I fussy cut mine with scissors, but there’s a matching die set if you don’t want to fiddle. This cute little set would be perfect for decorating an envelope as well.
I added a few white dots into each scallop on the edges as decoration. I also traced the outline of the Scallop Circle Die with my gel pen for addition contrast. Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you got inspired!
Today I am here with a fun, new tutorial on how to make your own baby dress card for a baby shower!
To begin I first distressed the white card panel and die-cut the top part of the card panel with Pocket Border die(neck line of the dress).
Next, I die-cut the sides of the panel, slanted on both sides using the straight border die from Stitched Border dies 2.
Next, I cut the bottom of the panel and made another on a strip of cardstock using Stitched Borders 3 dies.
For the sleeves of the dress I used the square die-cut from Storybook 4 dies.
Here’s just to show you pieces of the dress. The bunny and bow die-cut images were from the Holiday Pals Stamp set and Coordinating dies. The sentiment (sweet girl) was from the Lawn Fawn Hello Baby stamp set.
I also distressed the white card base and adhered the dress with foam tape for dimension.
For the final touches for the dress I added some Sparkling Clear sequins in 6mm for the neck line and 4mm all around the dress.

Hi Jeanne here today with a fun project to share! This “Just a Little Note” card is bright and sunny and sure to brighten your day!
I started by debossing the Stitched Banner Duo 2 die on a panel of white card stock. Debossing is easy – instead of cutting the die with your cutting place, you simply put a rubber embossing matt and special plate through your machine so it presses the design into the paper instead of cutting it out. Be sure to follow the directions provided by your machine manufacturer.
I wanted to add more definition to the debossed image so I cut the Stitched Banner Duo 2 a second time from a piece of scrap paper. Holding the die cut banner over the debossed one I distressed along the edges of the die cut to create a soft yellow glow.
Then I got to work on my layout. I knew I wanted to place the little chickie from Birdie Notes inside the banner. I stamped a sentiment just under where she would be, and some musical notes that would be around her head.
I stamped and die cut the birdie (the coordinating die cuts make this a breeze) and attached a wobbler to the back. I had to trim the wobbler to size to fit the back of the die cut shape. This doesn’t affect the spring action unless you cut the coiled plastic.
What a surprise when you touch the little chickie!! This is so fun to see the little chickie “wiggle it”!
You know I can’t resist my bling – I attached a few Sunshine Glow sequins to make me happy!
Hello, Pretty Pink Posh fans! This is Yana and I have a video tutorial to share today featuring one of my favorite dies from Pretty Pink Posh – Stitched Duo 2.
I really love using dies to create unique die cut backgrounds and today I’m expanding the pattern of the Stitched Duo 2 die to create a diagonal stip on my card front.

The trick to create a background like I have on my card is rather simple. All you need to do for perfect spacing is to die cut the first set of circles and than snap top row of circles of your die with the bottom row of the die cut circles (negatives) on your panel. From there you can expand the pattern however many times you like, you can expand it going just up or down or in all 4 ways to have an entire die cut background for a card.
To decorate my card I decided to use images from 2 sets – Holiday Pals(I used a little branch) and Birdie Friends(used a nest and a chick). I stamped several branches using a couple colors of yellow and green and also stamped 3 chicks and colored all using Copic Markers. All of them were die cut using matching dies.
Die cut backgrounds like these can also be die cut out of colored cardstock and mounted onto white card base. Here’s a close up of another card where the panel was die cut out of gray and foam mounted onto white:

It’s Nina-Marie here with you today and I have a video tutorial to share with you showing how to create pearlized watercolor effects using Zig Clean Color markers and the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors watercolor palette. I’ll also be using a few Pretty Pink Posh products as well and I think you’re going to really enjoy today’s post… so let’s get started!
For those of you unfamiliar with this product, the Starry Colors watercolors are a pearl-tinted palette that has a collection of six different gold, water-based pigments. I wanted to use these with my Zig Clean Color markers to create a pearlized effect and the result is stunning! Pictures don’t really do the intense shimmer justice; in real life the shimmer is incredible!
The stamped images I used for this card are from Mama Elephant’s Freestyle Florals stamp set. The style of these images lend perfectly to the artistic style of watercoloring I did. I also used Pretty Pink Posh’s Storybook 2 die, Clear Droplets and Birdie Friends stamp set.
