Hi friends! It’s Dana here today with a sneak peek of a few of the new dies coming to Pretty Pink Posh on February 10th.
I started my card by making my shaker with the new Party Cake die set. I used the frame die, included in the set, to cut my opening in my card panel. I then attached a piece of acetate behind the opening, added some foam adhesive around the edges and filled my shaker with the new Rainbow Sprinkles clay confetti mix. You will love this mix, it’s a party in a bag! Next, I ink blended my frame and cake pieces before attaching them to the acetate. Each piece of the cake and frame come apart so you can mix and match your colors and layers, so fun.
For my sentiment I used the new Celebrate Script die. I ran it through my die cutting machine three times and stacked the dies together to give the sentiment some dimension. Lastly, I used the new Build A Cupcake stamp set to stamp my complementing sentiment.
Thanks for joining me today. I hope you have enjoyed taking a sneak peek at some of the new products being released this month. Come back tomorrow for the full picture reveal!
Hi friends! It’s Dana here today sharing a sneak peek of some of the new stencils coming to Pretty Pink Posh on February 10th.
The stencils for this release center around the fun birthday theme. There are three packs of layered stencils which include cupcakes, presents and candles.
My first card uses the Layered Cupcake stencils. I started by making my card panel with the three stencils and dye ink in pink, aqua and purple. The color combinations are endless with these stencils.
The stencils easily layer on top of each other to create the most adorable card panel. Once my panel was finished I added a few splatters with white paint and then set it aside to dry. Lastly, I used the new Birthday Scripts set to stamp and die cut my sentiment. This sentiment set is perfect for all of your birthday cards and so much more.
For my next card I used the new Layered Presents stencil set. Keeping my color palette the same as before I used the three stencils to make a card panel.
Once my panel was finished I trimmed it down to a 2.25 inch strip. I then used the Scallop Border die to create my purple border for each side of the strip. Next, I used the new Build A Gift die set to create my die cut present. This die set is so fun, it includes two different size presents with different patterns, bows and ribbons that can all be mixed and matched. Lastly, I used the Build A Cupcake stamp set to stamp my sentiment.
Thanks for joining me today. I hope I inspired you to give the new birthday stencils a try… I know you won’t be disappointed. They are so fun and easy to use!
Hi, crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a sneak peek of the new Birthday Circles stamp set and Birthday Scripts stamp set releasing on February 10th.
The Birthday Circles set is such a fun addition to the previously-released Circle sets. These stamps are perfect for making cards and matching tags, plus the images go well together with other stamp sets, such as the Party Friends stamp set and Koala Friends stamp set. The Birthday Scripts is just the perfect set to have in hand for beautiful birthday sentiments and the best part is there are coordinating die cuts for the scripts.
For my card, I made a slimline size. First, I cut a slimline panel using the largest die from the Slimline: Peekaboo Window Dies in white cardstock. I ink blended it with Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks. I then splattered white and black acrylic paints for added interest. I layered this panel with a pink cardstock, measuring 3.5 x 8.5 inches.
Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Birthday Circles stamp set. I foam mounted them on the card panel for dimension. For the sentiment, I used the Birthday Scripts stamp set and cut the scripts with the coordinating dies. I cut a few extra pieces and stacked them for dimension. I then added Bubblegum pearls for added texture. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto a slimline-size card base.
That’s all for today’s sneak peek. Stop by tomorrow for another sneak peek of the February 10th release!
Hello crafty friends! It’s Yoonsun here to share a cute birthday cupcake card with brand new Build A Cupcake stamp & coordinating die set releasing on February 10th.
I started by making cupcake pattern panel. I randomly stamped cupcakes onto an A2 sized white paper panel with pale beige coloured dye ink – I stamped mask for the cake image to sticky note, cut out the mask and layered it over each stamped cake image because this set is build-a-cupcake. I then die cut 6 scallop borders from the pattern paper, assembled them together on the card base using double-sided tape.
For the cupcakes, I stamped them on watercolour paper using pale beige dye ink first, coloured cake images with polychromos pencils, cup images with Rusty Hinge Distress ink, and then die cut them with the matching dies. I added 4 cupcakes on the centre of the card front using foam tape, decorated them with Rainbow Sprinkles & Pinata Party Clay Confetti. These new clay confetti packs are so adorable!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Be sure to come back tomorrow for another day of sneak peeks!
Good morning! It’s Lindsey here today, and I’m excited to be giving you a sneak peek of the Birthday Wreath stamp set releasing on February 10th. It’s so fun! One thing I love about all the new products is that they pair so seamlessly with previously released Pretty Pink Posh products.
I really love all the little images in the wreath stamp sets, and I think that they look fabulous just as they are, so for my card I decided to simply emboss the Birthday Wreath image in a dark gold/bronze color. Next I blended aqua ink in an ombre fashion, and then splattered to my heart’s content. Truth be told I was watching a movie, placed my card inside a box to catch the splatters and just went at it. I used water, gold paint, and a shimmery teal paint to add a variety of flecks. It kind of reminds me of birthday confetti, which seemed fitting.
For my sentiment I die cut theHappy Birthday Script several times in white, layered them together, and placed a gold die cut on top. I opted to leave the centers in the letters, so the sentiment was more readable atop the busy background. I decided to go big or go home with the gold on my card and added a fewmetallic gold jewels to dress it up just a bit more. As the jewels tumbled out of the bag, some were right side up and some were upside down. The backside was clear and I liked combination with the gold fronts, so when I adhered my jewels I purposely adhered some of them right side up and some upside down.
I popped my panel up on a kraft card base and called it a day. I’m always tickled when all I need are a few great products to make a card.
Thanks so much for visiting today! Stay tuned for peeks of new products the rest of the week. You are going to LOVE this release!
Hi friends, Kavya here and I am thrilled to be sharing a sneak peek at the new Balloon Alphabet and Balloon Numbers stamps and coordinating dies as a part of this month’s release on February 10th.
If you follow me on IG, you know that I am a huge fan of versatile stamp sets. I am not kidding when I say that this is one stamp set combo that I will find myself using often in the future. You can combine the alphabets and numbers to create general sentiments, chat lingo (like gr8, hb2u etc.), numbers for special occasions and year etc.. If you don’t want the balloon look, just snip of the triangle at the end and just think of it as a bubbly font!
For my project, I decided to create a non-birthday using the birthday release for a friend who loves desserts. I first started off by ink blending the edges of a mushroom colored cardstock using black dye ink. I splattered some white ink to make it look like sparkles. Then, I stamped and colored a bunch of images using alcohol makers from Build A Cupcake, BalloonNumbers and Balloon Alphabet from the new release and Cupcake Critters from a previous release. For the cupcakes, I added extra details like stripes on the cupcake wrapper and some sprinkles. In general, I added highlights to all the images using a white gel pen! White gel pen details definitely make the balloons more realistic in my opinion. I then arranged them on my background using foam tape to finish off my card!
I hope you liked this project! Check back tomorrow for more inspiration featuring the upcoming February 10th release.
Let’s begin! I started by building a box card using wildberry cardstock. To have the look of a patterned paper, I stamped the little envelope all over the panels. For the background panel, I used a cloud stencil and ink blended it with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. I added 2 inserts and ink blended them with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks.
Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Sending Love stamp set. I just adore these critters! I used Copic markers – E11/00/000, 31/30, 74/71/70, R24/22/20/00, and V12/01. I adhered the elements onto the inserts.
For the sentiment, I cut a speech bubble in white cardstock and lightly ink blended it with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and stamped the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment from the Valentine Wreath stamp set.
That’s all for this Valentine box card. I hope that I’ve inspired you to create one with the new Valentine stamps!
Hi friends, Jeanne here. I hope you’re enjoying Valentine’s Theme Week! There are so many fabulous Valentine products in the store the hardest part is choosing what to take home! I’m a HUGE fan of die cuts! I think it’s absolute magic running a die and a piece of cardstock through my die cut machine and finding a crisp clean cut with a beautiful design!
My machine has earned it’s miles and sometimes the die doesn’t cut all the way through and that’s ok.. because that’s exactly what we need for the technique I used with the newLove Hearts Die. If your machine cuts perfect on the first try you can add some packing tape to the back of your card stock to prevent it from cutting all the way through.
When the die doesn’t cut all the way through it still leaves an impression of the design. Color the design with markers. It’s ok to color outside the lines. Cut a second die all the way and punch out all the cuts. You can lay it over your coloring to make sure you didn’t miss any spots. When you’re happy with your coloring spread some glossy accents thinly over the entire colored panel and top it with your clean punched die cut. Next sprinkle on some iridescent fine glitter. I placed a big acrylic block over the panel to allow it to help prevent any curling of the paper.
I wanted to add even more color so before I adhered the clean punched die cut I applied some soft Distress Oxide ink to the flower centers with a cosmetic brush. It’s up to you whether you want more color or would like to keep the die clean. All that was left was to add a sentiment. I selected a sentiment from the Valentine Wreath stamp set. It fit perfectly inside the open heart.
I hope you’ll give this technique a try with any of your cover panels – the results are shiny, glossy and oh so pretty.
We hope you’ve enjoy this week of Valentine inspiration. Thanks for stopping by!
