Hello friends!

While I’m here writing this, I SHOULD be packing my suitcase for CHA. I’m usually not a procrastinator, but when it comes to packing or unpacking, this side of me tends to come out. I don’t know what it is, but I truly despise the whole packing process. I need to get my act together though-I leave in less than 24 hours!

The card I have for you today is in my current favorite color combo. I love the cheeriness of the Aqua Mist and then the richness of the Ripe Avocado. Isn’t it utterly delicious? Like I mentioned before, I LOVE the DeNami Small Solid Button stamp. I already have another card made featuring this irresistible stamp. :)

Goodness gracious, where did the weekend go?! I can’t believe it’s Sunday night and I’m hours away from work. I really do love my job {most of the time}, but these past few weeks have been ridiculously stressful. If you think of it, I would greatly appreciate some thoughts and prayers in my direction!

Lately I feel like I haven’t been giving my DeNami stamps very much love- I’m hoping to change that in the near future. As we all know, I love my Papertrey stamps but that’s no reason why I should neglect my other stamps. :) Does anyone else have this problem?

Tonight I made some cards for my very first publication call. Let me tell ya, I am extremely nervous about submitting. I’m definitely a people pleaser {almost to a fault} and don’t take rejection too well. Thankfully I have had so many people encourage me to submit and give me such sweet compliments and advice, I’m going to try not to take it personally. If/ when I ever get accepted on a publication call, I’ll definitely let you all know. ;)

Goodness gracious, where does the time go?! I can’t believe it’s already Sunday night! Just a few more hours of fun and then it’s time for the CRAZY work week. This week we’re prepping for our large CHA inventory, make-n-takes, final details, plus all the everday tasks. We’re working longer days every day we are open- I may not be up for posting too often in the next four days.

Today’s card is my one of my favorites. I absolutely adore the new DeNami Design Small Solid Button stamp. Isn’t it adorable?! We all know I’m so obsessed with buttons- it’s genius to have a stamp of one so I can create my own papers and backgrounds! When DeNami Design was creating their new collection, they asked if we had any requests. The one at the top of my list was a button stamp- I’m so glad that they actually made one! I just love it when companies “open the floor” to their customers and actually respond!

Hello dears!

Today I have yet another Valentine post for you. I decided to give some Valentine mini cards a try this time around. Like I’ve said before, I LOVE the colors that represent Valentine’s Day.

This time around I paired up Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy and my fav Brown Kraft cardstock. I’m definitely planning on doing a full-size card in this color combo- it’s too yummy not to! What is your favorite Valentine color combo? I’m in need of some new, fun color combos- I want to hear your ideas! :)

Hi-ya girlies and gents!

Hope you all had a fabulous Friday! Mine was incredibly relaxing, which was just what I needed after my crazy work week.

Lately I have been thoroughly obsessed with playing our Wii Fit. We have had it for over a year but I just started playing this week. Have any of you tried it before? It’s so addicting! This morning I played it with my brothers for at least an hour. It amazes me how good my brothers are at playing the Wii. Sure, they aren’t little kids, but still! I’m telling ya, kids these days are so good at using technology!

Since we have successfully made it through the first week of 2010, I have a question for you: how are those new years resolutions/ goals doing? Which ones did you make? I have been making a conscious effort to eat more healthy since the new year started- hasn’t been TOO terrible. :)
