Let Freedom Ring
Hello, sweet blog friends!
I know that I say this every Monday, but didn’t the weekend go by entirely too fast?! My weekend was packed with different activities. I got my haircut (pics coming soon!!), went to my sisters photo session (also got some cute pics taken), went to a birthday party, hit the gym for the first time in two weeks and of course, created lots more cards. What did YOU do?
Over the weekend I received my brand new Lawn Fawn alphabet set. This set is super cute and so easy to use! My favorite part: there are multiples of the letters!! I feel like I had been neglecting some of my non-DeNami stamps recently, so I decided to play for a bit. :) I used the versatile Design Basics: Background 1 set from WPlus9 for my background. This star design screams 4th of July to me. Can you believe this is the first patriotic card (that I have made) that I actually liked? I have tried once or twice before and failed miserably. Now I have no idea who I’m going to give this to…it was just fun to make. :)
This week is going to be C.R.A.Z.Y for me. I have work and sometime I need to go shopping for clothes before my trip to Florida next week. Oh yes, and a pedicure is a must also. Can’t go on a trip with non-pretty toes! I’m getting super excited about meeting my blog friends!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a fabulous rest of your day!
Stamps: Mini Star, Design Basics: Backgrounds 1 (WPlus9), Harold’s ABC’s (Lawn Fawn)
Ink: Majestic Blue, Satin Red
Other: Red stitched ribbon, Martha Stewart scallop border punch, paper piercer, Spellbinders Labels One dies
Fabulous patriotic card! I love that background stamp, and you reminded me I need to order that alphabet set, I just love it!
Oooh I LOVE that BG stamp and those alphas are too cute. I like the way you stamped the words a bit “wavy”…fits the theme!
This card came out FABULOUS!!! I just saved it into my inspiration folder! Hope you don’t mind.:) The bow looks beautiful!
Over the weekend, I got that same alphabet set in the mail too! Only I didn’t get a chance to use it yet. But hopefully soon!
Can’t wait to meet you in less than two weeks!!! Yay!
Really nice 4th card. I like the way you tied the bow too.
*June*
Love your card. This is just perfect with the 4th on its way.
love that bow:)

I agree that these cards are hard to make (I have a lot of birthdays around the 4th and for some reason I go to these colors) but you’ve really made a wonderful card here. Love that pattern in the background.
nice! i love the background, and i agree about the multiples of the letters… it makes creating a phrase a ton easier, huh?
i know what you mean about not having someone to give your cards to–it can be a little weird :D
Finally! A “stylish” Fourth of July card, Bravo girl!!
What a fun card! I love your bow!
This is a **really** pretty and delicate patriotic card! The stars are so diminutive, I love how much white is mixed in with the blue and your bow is utterly beautiful! I’m so glad you felt satisfied with your work – because it’s absolutely lovely!
Totall adorable card! I opened your blog and just smiled! That bow is fabulous
What a perfect patriotic card!!! Love the background, the sentiment you created with the new alphabet set from Lawn Fawn (darn it…now I want to order that!!!), and the yummy stitched ribbon!!!! Fantastic work!
Can’t wait to see the new hair cut!!!
I absolutely love this card! It is so fun! The stars are the perfect touch! :)
