I just wanted to pop in super quick. For my Washington stamping friends: there’s a stamp show at the Puyallup Fairgrounds THIS weekend. I’ll be working in the DeNami Design booth and would LOVE for you to stop by!
Today I have a fun lil miss you card to share with you. I got the Lawn Fawn: Critters in the Forest set a while back, but haven’t gotten to play around with it much. I think this raccoon is super adorable, so I just HAD to create a card with him as the focal point.
I brought out some patterned paper again for this card. I must say, now I’ve been eying some other cute paper packs. However, I’m going to try to hold off for as long as possible….MUST. STOP. SPENDING. MONEY!
Did you notice the cute rainbow? I used the DeNami Rainbow stamp, which is one of my favorites. It’s so fun to color, and you can use it with tons of different stamps. (Also, right now until Saturday, there is a 10% coupon code. All you need to do is sign up for the InTouch newsletter here!)
If you haven’t hopped along in the DeNami Girlie Girl Blog Hop yet, be sure to do so tonight. Tomorrow we’re announcing the THREE $20 gift certificate winners- you could be one of them!
I am so excited about the DeNami Blog Hop today! I’m such a girlie girl and I knew eventually I would do a blog hop with this theme. I figured, May (with Mother’s Day) would be the perfect month for it!
If you started from the beginning of the hop, you should be coming from Pattie Goldman’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can head back to the DeNami blog for the complete list of participants.
I had originally thought that I was going to do a purses and shoes card, but I saw the Graduation Owl in the drawer and couldn’t help but use it. This stamp is great for both girls and boys- however, it’s always more fun to make cards girlie!
I went to the extremes for this girlie card- I pulled out ribbons, buttons, scallops, glitter, a doily, polka dots AND two shades of pink. Don’t know if it could get any more girlie!
Did you notice the glittery frame? I just colored the frame with my marker for the outline, then used my Quickie Glue Pen and Magenta glitter. (I also added glitter to the cap and diploma)
The next stop on the hop is: Ruby McGuire! Be sure to leave comments on each blog hop stop- we’re giving away two $20 gift certificates to random commenters, so one of them could be YOU!
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving some love. Have fun hopping along!
I know I’m a day early, but I have my DeNami Girlie Girl Blog Hop post scheduled for tomorrow. I hope you all will come check it out- there will definitely be LOTS of gorgeous girlie cards!
For today’s post, I have the card that I’m giving to my mom for Mother’s Day. I think I’m safe in posting this- today we have my sister’s bridal shower, and I doubt my mom will get on the computer to see this. :)
This card features four different stamp companies: DeNami Design, Papertrey Ink, Waltzingmouse Stamps and WPlus9. I’m so pleased with how this turned out- all of the sets work together so well!
I have to say, I was inspired by Lauriewith this card. I stuck with a CAS layout, and I tried adding two Prima flowers for this card. Can you believe I’ve never done that before? Love the look!
Well, I better run and help with the finishing touches of the shower. Thanks for stopping by- I’ll see you again tomorrow morning!
It’s been quite a while since I had a chance to play in an Embellish challenge. Somehow the weeks blend and time just slips by. However, I REALLY wanted to make an effort for the Embellish Squares Color Trends Challenge. Seriously, how gorgeous are these colors? So fun!
I decided to go super fun and girly on this one. Since the challenge was to incorporate squares, I took it quite literally. There’s a total of 13 squares on this card- can you spot them all? *wink*
Pulled out some fun DeNami stamps for this one. Here are the stamps I used:
Today I am finally getting around to posting a card that I created a month ago! (I tell ya, I need an assistant or something) This card features stamps from Wilson Designs, owned by my sweet friend, Kim!
I am so in love with this adorable deer (from the Gnomebody Like You set)- probably because it’s unlike anything I own. As you can see, it makes such a fun background, but he’s also a great focal point!
For the fun circle background, I pulled out Everything’s Owlright. I think this image is so fun and unique, that might be why I use it so often. ;)
That’s all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
It’s been quite a while since I posted…things have been a tad bit crazy. Still trying to plug away on CHA display things, plus I’m helping gear up for the Fall/ Winter release DeNami is having. Lots of fun stuff, just takes up quite a bit of time!
Today I have a sweet birthday card to share that I created a while back. Honestly, I think I post only 1/2 of what I create. I just can’t seem to find enough time to craft AND photograph/ blog about everything I make. *sigh*
In May, I have a ton of friends birthday’s, so one of my sweet friends will be getting this card. Also, with it being spring, these colors will be perfect!
For this card I pulled out a few of my favorite DeNami Design stamps. These are the stamps used:
I wanted to pop in with the card that I created for the Colour Q Challenge #81. How yummy are these pretty colors? They are perfect for Easter, but they also work for other occasions as well. You know me, I can’t be traditional, so I went for a birthday card this time around. (Lots of friends have birthday’s in the next month, so you’ll be seeing lots coming soon!) :)
Here’s the color swatches and card…
I stamped the DeNami Design Small Solid Button in three different inks- doesn’t it make a great background? If you’re obsessed with buttons like I am, this stamp definitely is a must have! For the sentiment, I used the Sweet Friend Birthday, also from DeNami Design.
Pretty simple card, but I really love the way it turned out. Well, girls, that’s all for this post. Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me some blog love. *wink*
Sorry I’ve been MIA….I’ve been super busy working on cards for the DeNami CHA SuperShow display. Granted, I’m not doing all new boards (just a few), but in between working and working out, I don’t have too much time. Isn’t it crazy how quickly your day can fill up?
In between all THOSE cards, I also want to make sure I make cards for fun. That usually seems to get my creativity flowing. So…for today’s card, I brought out a Lawn Fawn set that I had purchased about a month ago. Sadly, this was the FIRST time I even played with it! When I ordered the Critters in the Forest set, I also got the Smitty’s ABC’s and also a pack of patterned paper. Yup, you read that right- I actually bought some PP! I loved these patterns, so I couldn’t resist getting the small pack. :)
Did you notice that poloroid stamp? I used the super cute Wilson Designs Everything’s Owlright set. You know me, I like to mix and match companies. :)
I’m entering this card for the Lawnscaping Challenge #8– glad I was able to play along this time! I wanted SO badly to play along last week, but obviously that didn’t happen.
Okay ladies….it’s time to announce the winner of my April Giveaway! Now I had plans to create a cute graphic to showcase the winner, but since I’m still sick, sadly I don’t have the energy. :(
I love to use buttons! I’ve used them on cards in various ways and I have used them to embellish some knitting/felted bags. I should take some pictures of those projects :)
