Hi, Friends! This is Caly with you sharing a shaker card made using the Tulipsstampset. My arrangement today requires a larger card, so I’ve created a card that is 5”x7”. Please check out the video on the Pretty Pink Posh YouTube channel to see the process!
I stamped and colored the tops of each tulip stem and stamped each of the leaves 4 times to get enough to frame my shaker for the center of my card.
Copics Used: RV10, RV32, RV34, R56, G40, G43, G46
After die-cutting my images, I set them aside to work on my card panel. I ink-blended my 5”x7” panel using Lucky Clover and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Inks. I also ink-blended a separate panel with Lucky Clover for the Scallop Circleand then another panel using Bundled Sage for the shaker background.
After attaching a window to the back of the Scallop Circle, I sprayed the background panel with some water droplets for texture. Then I added confetti from the Berry Bright and Sparkling ClearConfetti mixes before sealing my shaker.
To finish today’s card, I arranged my tulips around the shaker and adhered it in place. I added some white gel highlights to the images and embellished with more Sparkling Clear Confetti.
I hope you enjoyed this project! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
There is nothing more precious or welcome than a new addition to the family. The latest Pretty Pink Posh release has everything you need to celebrate the new little one in your life!
This card starts with a pastel striped background made with the solid stripe die from Stitched Borders 3. I attached pieces at a diagonal on a panel of white card stock. Next I trimmed the panel so it would fit behind the opening of the large die from the Scallop Frames Set.
Good morning! Heather here today to share a couple cards using the beautiful new Crocus Stencilfrom Pretty Pink Posh! There is a video tutorial below as well, so keep reading to watch that and learn more!
Here is a video showing how I created these two cards.
I’m sharing two different ways to use this stencil – using the full panel to fill a card, or focusing on just a portion of it with some simple masking to just use a specific image.
For this first version of the card, I used the entire stencil to fill my card front with these lovely floral images.
I used a combination of Mustard Seed, Wilted Violet, and Mowed Lawn distress inks with my ink blending brushes and no masking required – super simple and easy!
For the second version, I used the lovely corner image to create a frame on my card front.
I did some very simple masking with post it tape – which is nice and inexpensive, and readily available! A bit of Post it Tape finishes off some of the other areas.
I used the same distress ink colors and blending brushes to add the color through the stencil.
Hi everyone! Ardyth here with 3 ideas for using the new Decorative Cross die. This lovely, intricate die cut is perfect for cards for Easter, baptisms, First Communion, confirmation, sending prayers and sympathy cards – and there are so many ways it can be used!
Take a look at this video that shows how to make all three of these cards.
Hi All! It’s Melody here today for the last day of Easter Theme Week. We hope you have enjoyed the inspiration this week. All the products in the Easter Section are 15% off through March 30, 2020.
I have two projects to share with you. My first card features the Spring Days stamp set and the Spring Days coordinating dies. I stamped the cute bunnies and the egg border in black ink, colored with Copic Markers, and then die cut the images. I love the scalloped frame die that is included in the die set.
To create the background I used a blender brush and a purple ink on white cardstock with the Easter Background Stencil.
At the bottom of the card I added a border of white cardstock die cut with the Eyelet Borders Dies. I cut the border again from a green cardstock and added the green behind the white. The sentiment is from the Easter Eggs stamp set.
The centerpiece of my second card is the Decorative Cross Die. This die is perfect for Easter but I think it would work perfectly for Baptisms, Confirmations, and Sympathy cards.
I cut a piece of white cardstock for the card front and lightly brushed the paper with a pale yellow ink. Then I die cut the Decorative Cross Die directly into the card front. Next I die cut the cross a few more times in a variety of colored cardstock and inlayed the pieces into the card front. I added a border to each side of the card front with the Eyelet Border Dies.
Good Morning Friends! It is Dana here today, and I am excited to be sharing some inspiration for Easter Theme Week with you all. I love how some of the older products can be mixed and matched and coordinate so well with the new release. Let’s get started, shall we?
For my first card, I began by creating my background. I sprayed the back of the Easter Background Stencil with Pixie Spray to hold the stencil in place. I then attached the stencil to a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended Distress Oxide Ink onto my panel. The colors I used were: Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac.
*I only picked up the stencil to take my photo…for this step you want to apply the Glitz Gltter Gel without moving the stencil. The Glitz Glitter Gel creates such a gorgeous sparkly background!
I set my background aside to dry and began working on the rest of my card. I stamped the adorable bunny and flowers from the Bunny Friends stamp set. I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
I attached my bunny and flowers to a vellum scalloped square, die cut with the Spring Days Die Set. Lastly, I used the Spring Blessings Script Die to die cut my sentiment. I attached this to my card panel with a little liquid glue to finish my card.
For my next card, I once again began by creating my background. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade along with the Easter Background Stencil. Once I had applied my ink, I added Glitz Glitter Gel in White to my background…creating another sparkly card panel!
I stamped the bunny friends from the Spring Days stamp set and colored them with Copic Markers. I then used the Spring Days die set to die cut my square and scalloped frame.
To finish my card, I once again used the Spring Blessings Script Die for my sentiment. As you can see, I die cut my sentiment a few times and stacked them. This helps add a little dimension and stability to the sentiment.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards! I hope to be back soon to share another project with you all.
Also, remember that all of the products in the Easter Category are 15% off this week only. Happy Shopping!
Flower and butterfly images from the Spring Scene die set were cut from Bristol smooth cardstock. The images were then watercolored using zig real brush markers and adhered to the card front using liquid glue.
I used a piece of black card stock to cut the sentiment from the Spring Blessings Script die and the sentiment was attached to the card front using liquid glue. And that completes the card!
For the second card, I used a mix of old and new sets to create a scene with this cute bunny. I love how the bunny seems to be jumping for joy among the brightly colored flowers!
Sentiment from the bunny friends stamp set was stamped using black ink and the images were adhered around the card using a combination of foam squares and liquid glue. I added some white gel pen accents to the images for additional interest.
A white frame was cut using the Scallop Frames die and attached to the front of the card using foam tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I’m so happy to be sharing these cards with you and hope they put a smile on your face! – Jane
Hi Friends! I hope you’re enjoying Easter Theme Week! The new Pretty Pink Posh March Release has lots of new products to choose from! You’ll find new stamps and dies like the Spring Days stamp set with coordinating dies I used on my card today.
Because all the stamps in the Pretty Pink Posh collection are by the same designer, they’re fun and easy to mix and match.
I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting rows of colorful daffodil and tulips. I layered them on a panel of card stock colored with distress ink (Citron Twist & Mowed Lawn).
I added a Bunny Friend and an Easter Friendand eggs. These elements are adhered with adhesive foam tape to add some dimension to the card. The finishing touch is a sprinkle of Shamrock jewels.
Stop by tomorrow when we’ll be sharing more Easter themed projects just in time to make for those on your bunny list!
Good morning, crafters! Adelle here and I’m happy to share with you the news that today begins Easter Theme Week at Pretty Pink Posh and you can find all items in the Easter section at 15% off!
For this project, I used a
combination of products from both the amazing new release as well as some from
prior releases. To begin, I stamped the
Easter eggs border from the Spring Days stamp set on a panel of 80# cardstock. I then used the
coordinating Spring Days dies to partially cut the lower portion of the
stamp.
Next, I used Copics to color
the eggs (color list on my blog
post), and then used the Spring Days dies to cut a mask for the eggs to be used
later. First, I needed to prep my card
base.
Using a landscape card base,
I used the die to cut the lower half of the front of the card. On the interior lower half, I used Post-It
tape to mask off a sliver that I inked with Distress Oxide in Twisted Citron
and Mowed Lawn. I removed the tape and set the card base to the side to work on
my front panel.
I applied the mask on top of
the eggs and lightly ink blended a background using Distress Oxide in Tumbled
Glass.
On another panel of white cardstock I used the Distress Oxide greens again to ink just enough area so that I could use the scalloped square from the Spring Days coordinating dies. I then white heat embossed “Happy Easter” from the Easter Eggs stamp set onto the die cut piece. I then stamped a couple of bunnies from the Bunny Friends stamp set, cut them out using the coordinating dies, and colored with Copic markers.
To finish the card, I adhered the egg panel onto the card base and then used foam tape to pop up the bunnies and sentiment. I love the bright colors of Spring!
