As I was looking at this card photo, I realized that this card truly highlights all of the products in the Pretty Pink Posh Shop right now. Sequins, ribbon, confetti, twine, pom pom trim…this card pretty much sums up my shop (and my studio) at the moment.
I wanted to shake things up a bit and bring you some brighter colors for today’s Valentine card. I have to confess that after I created this card, I made several more cards in this color palette. Be warned: you will definitely be seeing more of these colors in the near future.
I recently purchased this fun tag die set from Reverse Confetti and have been having all sorts of fun with it. I love how it works as a tag, but it also looks great on cards. There are so many different die cuts out there, but they add up really quickly. Being a girl on a budget, I typically go for ones that are versatile (like this one). I was eying this one for a few weeks and finally caved….I’m so happy I did!
Do you spy the white pom pom trim again? I’m tell you, I just can’t get enough of it! I love how it adds just a little bit of texture and dimension, but there’s hardly any extra bulk to it. See THIS VIDEO for a closer peek at just how flat it lays.
I hope you enjoyed this unique take on a Valentine card. If you’re interested in any of the embellishments on this card, be sure to head on over to the Pretty Pink Posh Shop!
In closing, just a little reminder about the giveaway I still have going on. Hurry over and leave your comment- the winner will be announced on Friday!
It’s day 2 of the Valentine theme week here on the blog and I’m sharing my new favorite stamp. Granted, he’s not available quite yet…..you’ll have to wait until Friday to get him at DeNami Design! I’ve been able to play with him a few times these last few weeks and he’s a “must have” in my book. I love the versatility that this little fawn brings and really, have you seen a sweeter image?
A few months back (see THIS POST), I pulled out my doilies and started incorporating them onto my cards again. If you’re new to my blog, I go through phases of certain supplies and these doilies are one of them. For a while, I used them on just about every card and then I took a mini break. With Valentine’s around the corner, I have a feeling you’ll be seeing them around the blog a little bit more. *wink*
Ever since I added the pom pom trims to the Pretty Pink Posh Shop, I can’t seem to stop using them! My favorite is the white- it seems to go with everything! For those who love it just as much as I do, you’ll be excited to hear that I’ll also be adding a couple more colors. They’ll be in next week….stay tuned for that!
Tomorrow I’ll be bringing a Valentine card that has a bit more color, but I think you’ll love it. In closing, I wanted to ask a question: have YOU started on your Valentine cards yet?
You all know how to make a girl extra happy the first week in a new year. I’ve been busy working on orders this weekend and it’s been so fun to see the response of the new products! In fact, I sold out of several items- woohoo!
It’s been AGES since I had a theme week here on the blog, but I thought it would be fun to do one this week. Granted, a couple of the cards you saw glimpses of in a video recently, but I’ll showcase photos of them, along with the supply lists. Ready for some Valentine goodness?
A few years back, I never would have paired pinks and reds together, but now I absolutely love this combo. I’m a girly girl, so these colors always make my heart happy. Add in some some of the Sweetheart Sequins Mix and the Red Tinsel Ribbon and we now have a card that will be hard to part with.
It’s not a secret that I’m a huge fan of dies and this card proves this fact. I paired THREE different brands of dies on this card: the Stitched Journaling Card die, the Femme Frames dies and the Embellished Tag die. Each of these individually are great dies, but when you add them altogether…. I have definitely found my new favorite trio of dies.
Did you see the posts on Friday? I announced the very first Pretty Pink Posh design team and I’m still in awe that I get to work with these gals. We have some fun things in the works and soon I’ll get to share one of them with you. The other post revealed a video showcasing some of the new products, along with a giveaway. There’s still time to enter, so be sure to head over and leave you comment there!
Well, sweet readers, that’s going to wrap up the first day of Valentine Week. Let’s make a date for tomorrow? *wink*
With Christmas behind us, it’s time to look to the next holiday: Valentine’s Day. Even though I’m single, I love this holiday. Any excuse to shower on love to my loved ones is a plus, especially when I get to use reds and pinks.
Today I’m releasing all sorts of new products in the Pretty Pink Posh Shop– many of which I’ve been showing little peeks of on my Facebook page and Instagram. Well, my sweet friends, the day is finally here and you can purchase them! Each of these items are ones that I personally love and am so thrilled that I get to bring them to you.
It’s been a while since I did a video that wasn’t a haul, so I thought today would be the perfect day to bring you a new video. Here I’ll be showcasing some Valentine cards I made recently (which I’ll be blogging in the near future), along with a better look at the new products.
I wanted to do something special for this momentous day of releasing new products and announcing the design team, so I’ll be doing a giveaway. Hop on over to the Pretty Pink Posh Shop, take a look around and then leave a comment listing what items caught your eye. I’ll pick one winner who will get some of the items they listed, along with other Pretty Pink Posh products. It’ll almost be like a belated Christmas gift!
Ready to do some shopping? I hope so, I’m ready to put together your items and ship them off! :) Thank you to everyone who has ordered thus far- your support and encouragement has meant so much to me.
This little dream of mine became a reality a month ago and I had no idea how quickly word about my shop would spread. It’s exciting when others share in your excitement and seeing products from your “little dream” being shipped all around the world. I must say, shipping orders to France, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom is beyond crazy and amazing.
Today is a big day because I am revealing the very first design team for the Pretty Pink Posh Shop! I personally get so inspired when I see what others create using specific products (And let’s be honest, we buy products when we see how products are actually used). The next step for the shop was to have a design team, so I searched high and low and put together a wonderfully talented and sweet group of ladies.
I am beyond thrilled to present you with my very team. Get to know them and be sure to hop on over to their blogs- a few of them have samples to share with you today!
How exciting to be part of the inaugural Pretty Pink Posh design team! Paulina has created a store with all the things I LOVE…sequins, confetti, twine…embellishments of all sorts!
I’m a wife, mom of three, and special education teacher living in rural Illinois. I have a passion for paper-crafting and am known to get lost in my craft cave! I think my first love of embellishments started when I was a little girl sorting through my Great Grandmother’s button tin…lots of beautiful vintage and antique buttons!
I can’t wait to share Pretty Pink Posh inspiration and projects with you! In the meanwhile, I’d love for you to visit my blog, Stacey’s Stamping Stage!
Hi, I’m Joni.I have been scrapbooking since my daughter was born, but my first love is really making cards for friends and family. I discovered blogging 3 years ago but did not really start my own until the year of 2012. I love to create simple cards and most of the time I love to add layers and embellishments on my craft. Adding embellishments on your projects makes it more special and makes your projects truly yours. I am so excited and honored to be part of the Pretty Pink Posh Design Team. I hope I will get to inspire you using different embellishments to your projects.
First let me say, I am excited and honored to be joining the Pretty Pink Posh Design Team! I’m so grateful for this wonderful opportunity!
I’m a wife and mom living in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I love nature and being organized, VERY organized. I often say, “I live my life like I make my cards, clean & simple”. Not much fuss here, I have a very less is more style all around. The secret to CAS stamping is all in the details, a perfectly placed sequin or star can take a design to a whole new level. I hope I inspire you and give you ideas on how to use embellishments to enhance your designs! When I’m not stamping, you can find me cleaning (haha), hiking with my family, doing Tae Kwon Do with my oldest son (we just received our brown belts!) or snuggled up with my iPad watching Netfilx.
Hi I’m Lisa! A former floral designer/instructor, now stay at home wife to the love of my life! We live in Ohio and are blessed with an amazing son and daughter-in-law. I’m also the proud mama of a sweet mini-schnauzer, Max!
My blogging journey began in April of 2011. I liken my card making to my floral design background. I feel I can go from a clean and simple card (bud vase) to a fussy shabby chic design (victorian tussie mussie) in the blink of an eye. I think my true style falls somewhere in the middle! To me, a card just isn’t complete without a sprinkle of sparkling embellishments!
My name is Leigh Penner and I am a wife & mother to three children. We live in Southern Manitoba, Canada, where I work as a substitute teacher. I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years and stamping/cardmaking for three. I love using pretty things on my layouts and cards, which means that I have a fondness for embellishments…. they’re so fun to play with and can often add the perfect finishing touch to a project!
I hope that you enjoyed getting to know these five gals. I have loved getting to know them these last few weeks and I know you will love them, too! Each of these gals will be posting all sorts of inspiration with my products these next few months and we have plans for something coming up soon.
I’ll be back in a little bit with a post showcasing some of the new products, along with a video. Stay tuned!
It’s official, if I wasn’t a sequin addict before, I truly am one now. After taking photos of the different sequins in the Pretty Pink Posh shop and working on samples with them, I am loving every single color and product. Today I wanted to showcase my favorite of the mixes I put together- the Classic Christmas Mix.
I always love coming up with new, unique color palettes, but there are some classics that are just to good to mess with. Red, green and gold are the epitome of Christmas colors (in my mind) and these colors all work together beautifully. I wanted to challenge myself to create something with all of the colors and then I thought of a wreath. PERFECT!
If you watched the November Craft Haul video, you saw that I got the Dainty Bow die. Doesn’t it work perfect with this wreath? I was a tad confused on how to put it together at first, but then I figured it out. I’ll do a video in the near future showing how to put it together, in case you’re like me. This bow is so cute- I have so many fun ideas with it!
Shop update: there are only 5 days until the official grand opening! I’ve received some more products that I’ll be adding to the store and soon my shop will be stocked full again. It’s been such a blessing to get some orders this last week- it’s really helped me get a glimpse of what items will be popular and I’ve been able to order more items. Thank you to all those who have ordered thus far- it truly means the world to me to get your support and also hear how much you like the packaging and products!
As promised, I have the listing of the 10 special guests that will be joining me on Sunday for the celebration. Each of these gals have such a unique style and I am on pins and needles to see how they use their PPP products. I hope that you plan on joining us for the inspiration and I’ll be having a special and giveaways!
I hope that you were inspired by today’s sequin card. Thanks for stopping in!
Do you remember when doilies were all the rage in paper craft land? What started as something that was classified as “shabby chic” in style quickly drifted and those of us who can’t pull off that style to save their life I tried my hand at incorporating them into my cards. At times I was successful, then there were other times I failed at it completely. While doing a purge of supplies and some cleaning, I came across my stash of doilies and decided to give them a whirl again. I truly do love how they look on cards….when they’re done right.
My card today is fairly simplistic, but it’s hard to make anything fussy when I use the Fresh Cut Florals set and dies. I think they’re so beautiful on their own, I try not to let anything take away from their beauty. I had originally created this card and it didn’t have the doily, but it was lacking something and then voila!
For those new to my site, one of my favorite things to do is use sequins and add rhinestones or pearls on top of it. It’s double the bling without being over the top. SWOON!
As many of you know, I’m prepping for the launch of my shop in these next few weeks. I’m getting the last of the products that will be in the shop opening this week, I just confirmed proofs for my tags and business cards and my packaging stickers just arrived. It’s all so exciting and completely nerve wrecking at the same time! As soon as everything arrives, I’ll be working overtime to get my shop up and running. Eeeek!
That’s going to wrap up this post. If you have guesses as to what will be in my shop, I’d love to hear them. Some of you have (correctly) guessed and then others are very close. Let’s just say I’m starting SMALL and sticking with items that are very ME. *wink*
For my long-time readers, you know that I enjoy doing giveaways. With a limited budget, I’m not able to do them too often….however, occasionally a company will reach out to me and want to host one on my blog. Today is one of those special days!

I’ll see you all back here on Monday for a brand new Featured Blogger with a well known crafter. I know many of you will recognize the name, while this person may be new to others. I can’t wait to share who this talented person is!
I’ve been feeling under the weather, so this is going to be a quick post. Sadly all I want to do is eat hot soup, warm cozy pajamas and socks and sleep. Hoping this sickness bug goes away soon- it doesn’t make life very easy when I have things to do!
Since the giveaway for this beautiful teapot has ended, I figured I should probably post the winner. Have I mentioned how grateful I am for Random.org? It picks a winner for me which is good- I want to choose everyone as a lucky winner! A great big thank you to all who entered. I had so much fun reading your favorite items in the re.Served store and also hearing you have “liked” them on Facebook. The owner is such a sweetheart and you all know I love supporting small businesses. :)
Congratulations to Unordinary Love! Please email me your contact information and we can get this teapot mailed out to you.
A great big thank you to Victoria over at re.Served for this amazing giveaway. I have a feeling you’ll be seeing more of her products here on the blog- I’m such a big fan now!
