Sneak Peek: March 2023 Dies

Good morning! It’s Lindsey here, and I’m delighted to be giving you a peek of some of the new dies releasing this month. I have been smiling ever since I laid eyes them. I just know you are going to love them!

New release will be available March 8th.

I’ll start with the fabulous new Easter Mug Additions. As the name states, these will pair perfectly with the previously released Winter Mug Dies, but they can definitely stand on their own. I always appreciate that about the mug addition sets.

I started my card by building this sweet bunny with the Winter Mug and Easter Mug Additions dies. The Easter additions include several eyes, noses, and mouths to choose from, so you can mix and match to your heart’s content.

Then I chose a rainbow of bright cardstock and cut carrots, flowers, and eggs, which are also included in the Easter Mug Additions. I added a larger flower and some greenery from the Spring Foliage Dies

If you look closely, you’ll see bunnies, eggs, and flowers that I dry embossed on the card base using the new Layered Easter Florals Stencils. Finally, I finished my card with a sentiment from the new Easter Sentiments stamp set

Next up is the adorable Umbrella Shaker die. It is the perfect size to take center stage on a card, which is how I’ve used it here. I used the same rainbow of colors as my previous card just more literally on this one.

You are going to love this die set because you have the option to cut the umbrella in one solid piece with stitched lines, or you can use a second die to cut out the middle of each section. I used both dies, and then layered strips of each color diagonally in the negative spaces of the umbrella.

I finished off the umbrella with a shimmery gray shaft. There is also a die option for the handle that you can add.

The sentiment on my card is the Happy Spring Shadow Die, one of two new shadow sentiment dies being released this month.

After adding my sentiment I finished off my card with a little rain. There is a little raindrop die included in the Umbrella Shaker die set; however, mine had disappeared in my crafty mess, so I actually used the negative cuts from the “y” and “g” in the Happy Spring Shadow die for my raindrops. I did end up finding the raindrop die (hooray), but in a pinch now you know a backup option. ;)

Thanks so much for joining me today! I have several more projects using these dies that I’m excited to be sharing with you throughout the month. Stop by tomorrow for a look at all the new products.

Sneak Peek: Flower Garden + Spring Jar

Hi folks, Kavya here with some more fun inspiration for the upcoming March release! I have two cards showcasing a bunch of products that I am sure you would love!

New release will be available March 8th.

Sneak Peek: Flower Garden + Spring Jar

My first card makes use of the new Flower Garden stamp set. I started off by creating the Scallop Box Card die out of colored cardstock and ink blended the edges using matching dye ink. Then, I stamped and colored a bunch of images from Flower Garden, Spring Chicks and Spring Jar from the new release.

Sneak Peek: Flower Garden + Spring Jar

I also used Hugs stamp set for the sun and clouds. Arrange all the elements on the box die and you are done!

Sneak Peek: Flower Garden + Spring Jar

My next card showcases the new Spring Jar stamp set. I ink blended the  background using a generic cloud stencil and blue and purple dye ink. For the grass, I used a generic grass die and some green cardstock.

Sneak Peek: Flower Garden + Spring Jar

Later, I stamped and colored a bunch of images from Spring Chicks and Spring Jar from the new release. I also used Easter Signs and Spring Flowers stamp sets from a previous release.

That’s it! I hope these projects inspire you. :) Join us tomorrow for a look at the new stencils!

Sneak Peek: Easter Sentiments

Hello hello! It’s Leica here today with a Spring-themed card, featuring the new Easter Sentiments Stamp Set. This set not only has a lot of great sentiments, but it has small images that you can use as well!

New release will be available March 8th.

I just adore the small images in this set and the sentiments fit in a label die that is included in the Easter Sentiments Coordinating Dies. The small images are easy to color and so fun to add in cards while the ornate die would make a great focal for a card, but I didn’t use it for my card.

My card starts with a 5” square white cardstock that is ink blended with Distress Oxide Ink in Antique Linen. I sprayed it with water for an oxidized effect. I then stamped the “Have a happy Spring” sentiment onto the center of the card panel.

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Easter Sentiments Stamp Set. I used the following Copic Sketch Markers: B02/000, BV01/00, RV13/11/10, W2/1/00, Y13/11, YG23/21, and YR02/000. I foam mounted the images around the border of the card. For embellishment, I glued some Ballerina Pink Sequins. And lastly, I glued the card panel onto a 5” square side-fold white card base.

That’s all for my super cute Spring card. Stop by tomorrow for another sneak peek of the March 8th release!

Sneak Peek: Leafy Spring Wreath

Hello, Gemma here today and I’m excited to share a sneak peek of the new Leafy Spring Wreath stamp set, from the upcoming March release. I created two cards, with different looks, to show it’s versatility.

New release will be available March 8th.

I began with a wreath in traditional colours. I stamped out the Leafy Spring Wreath and coloured it with green copic markers.

I stamped the bow, birds, flowers and Easter eggs from the same set, along with some additional Easter eggs from the new Easter Sentiments stamp set. I used copics markers to colour everything in, then die cut them out with the coordinating dies.

On a 5×5 square card base, I adhered a subtle print patterned paper. I added a couple more layers of the wreath for dimension. In one of the centre die cut pieces, I stamped a sentiment from the Leafy Spring Wreath set.

I adhered the wreath and sentiment to the card, then used foam tape to add the Easter eggs, birds and bow, and liquid glue for the flowers.

For my second card, I chose non-traditional colours. I love the look of blue and white foliage, and I added pink and yellow flowers for a pop of spring colour.

As before, I stamped out the wreath and flowers from the Leafy Spring Wreath stamp set. I coloured the images with copic markers, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

On a 5×5 card base, I adhered a bold patterned paper. I stacked the wreath with a couple more layers for dimension, then added a piece of vellum behind. This will soften the strong background and help the sentiment show up better.

The large ‘Spring’ sentiment is from the Leafy Spring Wreath stamp set. I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment on navy card, then die cut it with the coordinating die. I added two more layers for dimension, then adhered across the centre of the wreath.

I added the wreath to my card, then the flowers to the wreath with foam tape to finish.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you were inspired by these samples, this new wreath set is so fun to use!

Sneak Peek: Spring Chicks

Hi, friends! It’s Lauren and I am so excited to be sharing a little peek at the new Spring Chicks Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, Layered Chicks Stencils, and the fabulous Scallop Box Card Dies!

New release will be available March 8th.

Sneak Peek: Spring Chicks

I started with stenciling the Layered Chicks Stencils with Distress Oxides – the chicks are Squeezed Lemonade (bodies), Dried Marigold (wings/beaks) and Ground Espresso (eyes). For the eggs, I did a mix of Spun Sugar, Salvaged Patina and Twisted Citron to get some pastel colored Easter egg shells!

Sneak Peek: Spring Chicks

Using the Scallop Box Card Dies, I die cut the scalloped panels out of my stenciled cardstock. I die cut the Box Card out of yellow cardstock – the large base was cut once and the smaller panels were die cut three times. I adhered the box together with two of the smaller panels as little “shelves” for my stamped images and used some strong adhesive tape to ensure my box was nice and sturdy.

The scalloped die cut pieces were glued to the inside, back panel and sides of the Box Card. Before I glued the front panel on, I stamped the “You’re so tweet” in Pinecone VersaFine ink. You can also die cut another large, scalloped panel to glue on the back of the Box Card so you can write a personal note!

Sneak Peek: Spring Chicks

Next I stamped some of the adorable chicks in eggs and one without an egg in alcohol marker friendly brown ink from the Spring Chicks Stamp Set. Using Ohuhu Art Markers, I colored them in with colors that matched as best as I could to the Distress Oxide colors in the background. Once I added some highlights with a white gel pen, I die cut them out with their Coordinating Dies.

Sneak Peek: Spring Chicks

I added the images to the “shelves” inside of my Scallop Box Card– I just love the three eggs with the chicks popping out! They went on the back shelf and my other two chicks are in the front so you could see them peeking around each other.

I hope you’re as excited as I am for the Scallop Box Card Dies and these cute Spring Chicks for your Easter and Spring cards!

Decorated Party Cake

Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears here. Today I’ll be making a birthday shaker card using some new products from the birthday release.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

Starting with the Streamers Stencil, I cut my cardstock to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. I used three ink colors to ink the stencil. The inks I used are Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, and Squeezed Lemonade. I used a different color for each row of the stencil.

Pretty Pink Posh: Decorated Party Cake

Next, I used the Fancy Cake die set and I die cut the cake and cake layering dies with white cardstock. I masked off sections of the cake die cut as I inked the sections with the following inks:

Cake and Candles – Kitsch Flamingo
Candle Flames and Frosting – Squeezed Lemonade
Sprinkles – Dried Marigold
Cake Stand – Hickory Smoke

Pretty Pink Posh: Decorated Party Cake

I used an orange marker and added a bit of orange color to the center of the candle flames.

I die cut the word die, hip hooray, twice from silver cardstock. I added the sentiment “hip hip hooray” to the cake layers.

To make the shaker card, I die cut the rectangle frame from the Fancy Cake die set with silver cardstock. I added the frame to a piece of acetate and added foam strips on the back. Next, I added the Birthday Cake Clay Confetti and Funfetti Clay Confetti to the center of the stenciled background and added the frame on top.

Pretty Pink Posh: Decorated Party Cake

Finally, I added the cake to the center of the frame and added the shaker frame to an A2 size card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!

Pretty Pink Posh: Birthday Signs Box Card

I first cut the box card die elements in green cardstock and assembled it. For the background, I inked through the Streamers Stencils on the back panel of the card with Dried Marigold, Salty Ocean, and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks.

Birthday Cake (3 Ways!)+ Video

Hi all, Rebecca here! Today I have a birthday cake featuring cake….lots of cake! This birthday card has a birthday cake background, a birthday cake card front and a birthday cake inside the card!

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

I used the Birthday Cake Layering Stencils and some very light inks to create the background. Then I used the Fancy Cake Dies cut out of different colors of cardstock to create the big cake card front.

Birthday Cake (3 Ways!)+ Video

There is a confetti die that comes with the Fancy Cake Dies but for some extra color and dimension I added the Funfetti Clay Confetti to my cake for sprinkles. I added a foiled sentiment with the Hot Foil Large Celebrate.

Birthday Cake (3 Ways!)+ Video

For the inside of the card, I used the Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set which are perfect for messages inside birthday cards, to stamp a sentiment. Then I used the little piece of cake die from the Birthday Mug Additions Dies to add a cute small image above the stamped sentiment. Check out today’s video to see how much fun I had pulling these three ways to create cakes together in one card!

Birthday Cake (3 Ways!)+ Video

I’m already planning my next background, forefront and inside image card! I am thinking, maybe party hats next time! I’d love to hear what Pretty Pink Posh image you would combine for this trifecta! Thanks for stopping by!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Hi crafty friends. It’s Leica here and I am sharing a square-shaped card today, using the strawberry die from the Valentine Mug Addition Dies. This set is a perfect addition to the previously-released Winter Mug Dies

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

I first cut a 5” square white cardstock and ink blended it through the Grid Stencil with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I then cut the Wonky Stitched Square in patterned paper. You can also make a gingham pattern with the Wide Stripes or the Pinstripe Stencil. I then stamped the sentiment in the center of the wonky square panel. I foam mounted it on the card panel and added Bubblegum pearls for added interest.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

For the strawberries, I watercolored scraps of paper in red, green, brown, and white pearlescent. I then cut the strawberry from the Valentine Mug Addition. The swirls and little hearts are just too cute! For the pink dip, I used pink cardstock and added Liquid Pearls in White Opal. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto a 5.25” square card base.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

That’s all for this sweet strawberry card. I hope that I’ve inspired you to create a card with the Valentine Mug Addition Dies. Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Layering Stencil + Video

Hey friends! It’s Mindy and I’m here to share some birthday inspiration with the Layered Party Hats stencil.

Watch the video above  I  Watch the video in HD on YouTube

For the first layer of the stencil, I’m going to use Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina and Wilted Violet Distress Inks.

Birthday Layering Stencil + Video

I’ll go over the second layer of the stencil with Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon and Villainous Potion Distress Ink.  I love the tone-on-tone look this provides.

Birthday Layering Stencil + Video

The third layer of the stencil is adding the pom-poms to the top. For this I’ll be using the new Lost Shadow Distress Ink.

The final layer of the stencil adds stars to the background. I’m going to apply Gold Glitz Glitter Gel over this layer.

Birthday Layering Stencil + Video

You can’t have party hats without presents so I stamped out the presents from the Birthday Signs stamp set and colored with copic makers. I picked out colors that would match my background. Then used the coordinating die to cut the image out.

For the sentiment, I’ll be using the Birthday Sentiments stamp set. I die cut a panel using the Spring Circles die set and stamped the sentiment in black.

Birthday Layering Stencil + Video

I added this panel to my stenciled background using foam tape and then added the presents towards the bottom using foam tape as well.

I love how this background came out! Hope you enjoyed today’s project! Thanks for stopping by!
