Merry Candy Cane
Hello, friends! Justin here, and today, I am so excited to share some candy-cane-sweet inspiration using some new holiday products! One of the things that I love most about Pretty Pink Posh products is how easy it is to mix and match various products to make beautiful creations! For this card, I combined the Candy Cane Shaker Dies with elements from the from the Christmas Bell Shaker Dies to create a festive project.

Candy Cane Shaker Dies
Christmas Bell Shaker Dies
Argyle Pierced Plate Die
Large Merry Shadow Dies
Holly Berries Clay Confetti
This card was really pretty easy to put together, which makes me love it even more! The Candy Cane Shaker Dies are super versatile, where you can use them either as a shaker element. I decided to use white and red paper to create my single candy cane. I also thought it would be fun to add some details to my candy cane, so I used the holly leaves and bow shapes from the Christmas Bell Shaker Dies. I used a little bit of ink blending to make these embellishments have some shading details.

My background was really quite fun to make as well. I had green cardstock in my stash that I die cut the Argyle Pierced Plate Die from, and ink blended the edges with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink. I splattered excess Lucky Clover ink on the panel as well. In opposite corners, I adhered a few pine branches with berries that I had die cut from the Christmas Bell Shaker Dies.
One of the last elements that I worked on was the sentiment. I used the Large Merry Shadow Dies and die cut the word Merry 3 times from white cardstock, and “stacked them” (adhered each sentiment on top of each other to create dimension). I then adhered the Merry sentiment to the shadow die cut, which I cut from dark green cardstock.
Once I adhered all my elements into place, I also used the Holly Berries Clay Slices to add some embellishment to my card.

Thank you so very much for stopping by the Pretty Pink Posh Blog today! I can’t wait to see what holiday projects you create next!
Happy Crafting!
