Light-Up Gingerbread House
Hello friends, it’s Melissa here today. We are so excited to be participating in a collaboration Instagram hop with Pear Blossom Press! You’ll see several PPP and PBP designers sharing their projects using both companies today and the results are oh so sweet!
What could be cuter than a sweet, little gingerbread house that magically lights up? With products from Pretty Pink Posh, combined with lighting from Pear Blossom Press, it’s easy to create unforgettable, unique gifts in the form of a card!
I began with the new Gingerbread House Dies from Pretty Pink Posh and sandwiched my Pear Blossom Press battery powered light in between my top and bottom layers. I stamped the “Press Here” image on the door of my house using the Pear Blossom Press stamp so the recipient would know just where to press in order for the house to light up.
I added stenciled clouds and cobblestone using stencils to create faux texture.
Gumdrops across the bottom of my card front were added using the Gingerbread House dies once again. My sentiment is from the new Christmas Gingerbread stamp set and coordinating dies.
To finish this fun, interactive card, I added sequins and Crystal Stickles Glitter.
