Leafy Fall Word Shaker
Hi crafty people! It’s Rachel here today with a fall shaker card using the Fall Word Shaker die set. I absolutely love big sentiments, especially when they can shake!

Brown is, in my opinion, always a good choice for a fall card. So, I started with cutting a piece of cardstock to 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches. I grabbed a darker ink color and inked along the edges.
To decorate my card, I grabbed the Stitched Leaves die set and die-cut all the leaves out of white paper. Then I grabbed my pastel inks in the colors yellow, orange, and pink. Colored the die cuts and gave them some shading with a darker ink of each color.
I wanted to add some more texture to my card, so I decided to use some white splatters. I laid the stitched leaves onto my brown background and started splattering the white acrylic paint.

For the Fall Word Shaker die. I cut it once out of brown, once out of foam, and one time out of brown, but this time with the windows inside. So, I could create my shaker frame.
I adhered the acetate behind my frame and attached the foam to my forehead base piece. Then it was time to grab some of the amazing new shaker choices. To match the orange, yellow, and pink from my leaves, I went with the Blush Harvest shaker beads. Filled up my sentiment and then adhered the frame with the acetate on top. Shake shake! How fun is the sound the Pretty Pink Posh shaker beads make?
I laid all my elements onto my card base and decided that it would be fun to overlay two of the leaves onto my sentiment. When I was happy with the placement of everything, I started adhering to the leaves and my fall word shaker with liquid glue. For the two leaves overlapping my sentiment, I used some foam tape and liquid glue.

And there we go, an amazingly fun shaker that does not take a lot of time. Due to the beautiful big fall sentiment. I find it only needs little things to let the sentiment pop.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post. I hope you like this fall shaker card and get inspired to use it yourself.
