Lucky Bear

Hello Crafty Friends! It is Hanh here with you today. I’m sharing a St. Patrick’s Day card featuring the adorable Bear Holder Dies with his arms full of goodies from the Lucky Holder Additions and Decorative Shamrock Dies. I paired these fun dies up with several new products: Lucky Animals stamp setLucky Words Stencil and Pinking Rectangles Dies. So let’s get started.

I used the Bear Holder DiesLucky Holder Additions Dies and the Decorative Shamrock Dies to diecut the bear, clovers, pot of gold and rainbow out of Neenah Solar White, green, black and gold cardstock. I colored the bear and rainbow with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS: Bear: E50/51/53/33, R000/20 Rainbow: R24, YR04, Y13, YG03, B02, V04

For the background, I took a piece of white cardstock and lightly inked the background with the Lucky Words Stencil and Mowed Law Distress Oxide inks. I used the largest die from the Pinking Rectangles Dies to diecut a piece of vellum that I used to overlay to soften the background.

For the sentiment, I stamped the “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” sentiment from the new Lucky Animals stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I trimmed it out with a paper trimmer.I adhered the bear, decorations and the sentiment to the panel with a combo of liquid glue and foam tape. The panel was adhered to a piece of green cardstock before it was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25″ x 5.5”).

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Hanh
