Day 2: Lucky Theme Week

**All items in the Lucky section are 15% off during theme week**

Hello, friends!! Brenda back on the Pretty Pink Posh blog with you today! I’m super excited to be sharing a shaker card which combines several goodies for Lucky Theme Week!! Be sure to stay tuned all week for more inspiration from the design team and there is also a SALE!! The Lucky Category is 15% off in the shop all week!

I began by stenciling the background panel onto white cardstock with the Layered Lucky Items Stencil Set. I used Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks. I die-cut the panel with the largest die in the Stitched Torn Rectangles Die Set, then splattered it with diluted metallic gold watercolor paint. Once it was dry, I adhered it to an A2 panel of green cardstock.

I created the shaker with the Horseshoe Shaker Die Set. The background and outline were both cut from brushed gold cardstock. I also die-cut the acetate with the largest die, then adhered it to the back of the outline. Shaker strips were adhered to the back of the acetate and I added Lucky Clay Confetti and Best of Luck Shaker Beads for the shaker bits, then adhered the back of the shaker to close it up. I added a rectangular panel of vellum to the background, then adhered the horseshoe shaker with liquid glue.

The sentiment, form the Lucky To Know You Stamp Set, was gold heat embossed onto white cardstock. “Lucky” was cut out with the Coordinating Die and the “to know you” sentiment was cut out with a die from the Sentiment Strips Die Set. I also die-cut one more layer of each from green cardstock and adhered them to the back, slightly offset. The sentiment die-cut and strip were both adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam strips, doubling the foam where needed.

That does it for me today! Be sure to stay tuned all week for more inspiration for Lucky Theme Week! Don’t forget to check out the Lucky Category for 15% off in the shop!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Brenda
