Summertime Greetings

Hello Crafty Friends! It is Hanh here with you today with a fun summertime greeting card featuring these adorable images from the Beach Fun and Seashell Wreath stamp sets. I love how well these sets can mix and match with one another.

I stamped the images from the Beach Fun Stamp and Seashell Wreath Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Beach Fun Coordinating Dies and Seashell Wreath Coordinating Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Sunglasses: RV04/06, T7
Starfish: Y13 YR21/24
Seashells: E50/51/53/33, E50/51/53
Blue: B000 BG53/45
Green: YG01/03
Pink: RV00/02/04/06

For the background, I used the Scallops Pierced Plate to add a subtle wave-like pattern to a piece of white cardstock (3.5″ x 4.75″). I adhered a piece of craft foam to the backside of the panel before adhering it to a piece of light blue cardstock (4.25″ x 5.5″).

For the sentiment, I stamped the “Summertime Greetings” from the Sentiment Strips: Summer Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used one of the dies from the Sentiment Strips Dies set to diecut it out. I also used one of the slightly larger strip die to diecut a mat out of light blue cardstock. I layered and adhered the sentiment strips.

The sentiment strip and colored images were adhered onto the white panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension. I finished the card with a few sequins from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix before adhering the panel to a white A2 cardbase (4.25″ x 5.5″).

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. Have a wonderful and crafty day!

  1. Love this card. It’s got a lot of elements but still keeps the CAS feel.
