Utility Vehicles Across the Miles

Hello Everyone! It is Zsofi here today on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog showcasing the new Utility Vehicles stamp and coordinating die set. I am in love with all the “boy” sets this month, this design would work perfectly with any of the sets.

First I stamped and coloured all the images from the Utility Vehicles stamp set. I used Copic markers, but kept the colouring simple: 2-3 shades of each colour family. Then I cut everything out with the coordinating dies.

While I was die cutting, I also cut 3 roads from dark grey cardstock using the City Buildings die set. I adhered them to an A2 sized, top folding white notecard making sure the spacing is even between them.

Then I stamped the sentiments from the Utility Vehicles and Valentine Train stamp sets. For the latter, I simply masked off part of the sentiment which I didn’t need with some washi tape before inking it up. I like this technique for selective stamping, I just need to remember to remove the washi before stamping.

Finally, I popped up the vehicles and accessories using 3D foam squares.

As a finishing touch I used a clear shimmer pen and some glossy accents to emphasize some details.
