Christmas Theme Week: Day 6

Hi crafty friends! Rebecca here with a fun, colorful card for the holidays! Today I am using the Holiday Stockings stamps and Holiday Stockings dies with the Layered Argyle stencils for the background.

I started with the Layered Argyle stencils and created a light pastel colored argyle, ink blended background. This non traditional colors will match to the stocking die cut images perfectly.

Next I will color the stamped images with alcohol markers, matching the colors to the fun background colors.

To add a little shine, I added some fine iridescent glitter to one of the cuffs of one of the stockings. I simply drew over the stocking with Quickie Glue Pen and then poured the fine glitter on top.

I stamped the sentiment from the Holiday Stockings stamps on one of the Eyelet Rectangles Dies, trimmed the rectangle in half and then adhered it to the top of the card.
