Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh blog! It’s Leica here and today I’m excited to share a handmade card that I made using the new Spring Birdhouses stamp set and A Little Birdie stamp set.

To start, I cut a 4.25 inch square panel of white cardstock and ink blended it with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. I love the soft, pastel look of this color! To add some texture, I splattered the panel with white ink and stamped a sentiment from the Spring Birdhouses stamp set using Versafine Onyx black ink.

Once my panel was complete, I glued it onto a 4.5 inch square card base to create the foundation for my card. Then, I stamped, colored, and cut out some adorable images from the Spring Birdhouses stamp set and A Little Birdie stamp set. 

To add dimension to the card, I foam mounted the images onto the panel, except for the birdhouse. Instead, I attached a piece of twine to the birdhouse so that it looked like it was hanging from a tree branch. I love the way the birdhouse swings back and forth – it adds an element of surprise and playfulness to the card.

I had so much fun creating this card using Pretty Pink Posh’s stamps. The Spring Birdhouses and A Little Birdie sets are perfect for creating cheerful, whimsical cards that are perfect for any occasion.
