Sorry You’re Under the Weather
Hello friends. It’s Leica here today and I’m so excited to share with you all a card that I recently made using the new Get Well Soon stamp set! As a cardmaking enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for fun and creative ways to brighten someone’s day, and this stamp set definitely fits the bill.
To start, I took a 4.25 inch square white cardstock and stamped a variety of images from the Get Well Soon stamp set. I used my trusty Copic Sketch Markers to add some vibrant colors to each of the images. Once I was happy with the coloring, I carefully foam mounted the card panel onto a 4.5 inch square white card base, creating a sturdy and durable foundation for my card.
Next, I cut the ornate label from the Get Well Soon coordinating dies out of white cardstock. I then used Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink to add some dimension and interest to the label, and finished it off with a few splatters of water and white ink.
For the sentiment, I used Versafine Onyx black ink to stamp a sweet and uplifting message onto the label. I then carefully foam mounted the label onto the center of the card, creating a striking focal point.
I’m really happy with how this card turned out. While it may be a simple design, I know that the bright and cheerful colors will definitely help to lift the spirits of the recipient. The Get Well Soon stamp set is truly a must-have for anyone who loves to create thoughtful and meaningful cards for their loved ones.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog post, and I hope that this has inspired you to try out this stamp set for yourself! Happy crafting!
