Rainbow Clouds with Stencils + Video
Hi friends! It’s Mindy with you today to share some inspiration using the Layered Clouds stencil. When all else fails or I’m in a slump, I will normally go for a rainbow. Rainbow never fails!

The Layered Clouds stencils is a two piece stencil. Starting with one of the layers, I’m going to ink blend a rainbow of colors using blending brushes. I’m using colors from Simon Says Stamp but anything in your collection will work for this.
The colors I’m using are Bubblegum, Grapefruit, Sunbeam, Sprout, Surf, and Lilac.
After I blended this first layer on, I’m going to place the second layer of the stencil on my background. This will slightly overlap some of my previous clouds.
I’m going to repeat my same steps as before using that rainbow of color.
After I remove the second layer of the stencil, I’m going to lightly go over the whole background with the left over ink on my blending brushes, following the rainbow down the front of the card.
I trimmed the panel down to 4” x 5 ¼” and added to a white card base.
For my sentiment, I’m using the Just A Note Script die. I die cut it once from gold mirror cardstock and twice from white cardstock to layer together for dimension.
Truly a simple card that has a strong, happy vibe. Hope you enjoyed today’s card project!
What a fun card! Love how she uses only one set of inks!
