Simple Birthday Cake Shaker
Hello crafty friends. It’s Leica here today with a fun birthday shaker card. This is simple to recreate and great for mass-producing to have birthday cards in hand to send to friends and loved ones.
I first cut the Birthday Cake Die in gold glitter cardstock that already has adhesive on the back. I got this from the big box store. I then adhere the cover panel onto a 4.25 x 5.5 inch clear acetate to make a window for the shaker. For the background, I used a cardstock that has dot prints. You can also make your own background using the Mini and/or Medium Polka Dots Stencils. For the shaker bits, I used the Cupcake Clay Confetti and Sherbet Clay Confetti. The sentiment is stamped onto a strip of pink cardstock and adhered onto the front of the card. Lastly, I adhered the shaker panel onto an A2 sized card base.
That’s all for this birthday card. I hope that I’ve inspired you to make a shaker card with this previously-released Birthday Cake Die. Have a great day!
This is so cute! It’s probably one of my all time favorite PPP cards that doesn’t have critters on it :)
