Colorful Layered Flowers

Hello crafty friends! It’s Leica here today with a square-shaped card, using the new Layered Spring Flowers stencils and Celebration Scripts stamp set. For this card, I went with a Congratulations to you sentiment. However, I think this design would also make a beautiful card for other occasions. 

I started by cutting a 5 inch cardstock in purple and a smaller panel in white cardstock. I then inked through the smaller panel with Distress Oxide Inks – Milled Lavender + Kitsch Flamingo, and Cracked Pistachio + Salvaged Patina. I shifted Layer C to have dots on the negative space of the panel. I adhered the panels together.

Next, I stamped the sentiment using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink on white cardstock and cut with the coordinating die. I then cut a few more of the coordinating die in pink cardstock and adhered them together for a stacked look. I white heat embossed “to you” on a strip of black cardstock and foam mounted it onto the card panel. For added dimension, I adhered Pink Blush Pearls on the center of the flowers. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto a 5 inch square card base.
