Halloween Boo
Hello, Gemma here. Today I have a fun Halloween card to share featuring new and old Pretty Pink Posh sets.
I began by creating the background. I blended out from the centre using distress oxide inks in picked raspberry, wilted violet, blueprint sketch, chipped sapphire. I then flicked the panel with water to get lots of distress details.
On the panel, I stamped a greeting in clear embossing ink, from the new Halloween Wreath stamp set, and embossed it with WOW Super Fine Opaque Bright White embossing powder.
From the centre of the panel, I die cut the Boo Shaker die. I’ll keep these die cut pieces for another card. I adhered the background panel to a square card base, leaving a small white border.
Next, I die cut the Boo Shaker die from black and orange card, and twice from white card. Any pieces I don’t use this time can be saved for another card too.
I layered the two white die cuts together, then adhered them into the space on the card. From the orange die cut, I took the inner pieces and inlaid them in the pumpkin. I then cut the wording from the black die cut and adhered this over the white word.
I stamped out images from the previously released Halloween Pals stamp set, along with the new Halloween Wreath stamp set. I coloured the images with copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies.
I attached some silver embroidery thread from the boo word to the spider, then used foam tape to add the images to the card.
I love the fun, bold colours of Halloween and combining new and old Pretty Pink Posh sets together.
Thank you so much for stopping by, see you next time.
Too cute! What an incredibly GORGEOUS background that totally makes the adorable kitty cat and pretty pumpkin pop! Thanks so much for sharing!
