Sneak Peek: June 2021 Stencils

Hi Friends! It’s Dana here today and I am excited to be sharing a sneak peek of some of the new stencils coming to Pretty Pink Posh on June 14th. 

My first card uses the fun new Layered Surfboard Stencil Set. This is a two pack of stencils. The first stencil creates the base of the surfboards and the second stencil adds the detail. I attached the first stencil to my card panel and used post it notes to mask off each surfboard. I added dye ink to each individual surfboard and then moved the post it note to cover and uncover the next one accordingly. This was an extra step though definitely worth it to be able to create a rainbow. Once my first layer was finished I attached the second stencil to my panel. I once again masked off each surfboard and applied the same color of ink for the detail. 

For my sentiment, I stamped and die cut the word Summer from the Summer Drinks Set. I then used the Sea Friends set to stamp the word Hello. Lastly, I trimmed my panel down, attached it to an A2 card base and attached my sentiment with foam adhesive. 

My next card uses the new Grid Stencil along with the Summer Drinks stamp set.

I started my card by creating my card panel with the Grid Stencil. I masked off the four squares and applied dye ink directly onto my panel. I love the graphic look you can create with this stencil.

Next, I stamped my drinks and sentiment with the Summer Drinks set. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Lastly, I attached my images with foam adhesive to the card panel. Don’t you just love this stencil? It makes the perfect background.
