4th of July Basket

Hello, crafty friends! Leica here today with an A2 card to share with you all. I can’t seem to put the Easter Basket Die and the Floral Corners stamp set away! This time, I filled the basket up with red, white, and blue flowers, and some firecrackers for a Fourth of July theme.

Let’s get started! I first cut my panels in red, white, and blue cardstock. For the red cardstock, I used the Layered Stars Stencil in white pigment ink for a fun background. I also white heat embossed with the little stars from a previous release, Camping Friends. Next, I added Sparkling Clear Stars Sequins here and there. I then cut the panel with the Stitched Notes Die for stitching details around the panel.

I then die cut the basket in white cardstock and the bow from Tulip Cover Plate Die in blue cardstock. Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the flowers from the Floral Corners stamp set and the firecrackers from the 4th of July stamp set. I used Copic Sketch Markers in B000/91/93/95, R24/27/29, YG21/23, Y11/13.

I layered my panels in red, white, and blue order. Then I adhered the stamped images onto the card. Lastly, I white heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and glued it down onto the card.

That’s all for this Fourth of July card. I hope you enjoyed today’s card share and that I have inspired you to create cards for your friends and family.

  1. Love this 4th of July card. I don’t have any 4th of July stamps and never really quite sure what to do for independence day cards. This is great inspiration! I have lots of flower stamps I can use in a similar way. Have a lovely day!

  2. I just love the Fourth of July card!! The bright colors wowed me!!
