Bright Blossoms

Hello, hello!

Oh goodness, this past week has been CRAZY in terms of emails, blog questions and orders. I’m swimming along and trying to get everything done, but if you’ve emailed or are awaiting a reply, please be patient with me. I honestly haven’t been this busy since the opening of the shop and didn’t anticipate this wonderful blessing of excitement from the dies. Rest assured, I already have LOTS of dies on order and as soon as I get word on when they will arrive, I’ll let you all know.

Despite being busy, I just couldn’t resist taking part in the DeNami blog hop this month. With the theme being Bright Blossoms and it also being the last blog hop before the Fall, I had to join in the fun. Flowers and I go together like cake and ice cream! I actually originally created another card- I even stayed up until 1am stamping it- but the end result was horrible. In fact, I didn’t even finish it. After sleeping on it, I decided to trek back into the studio and this was the end result. Since it’s not a super elaborate card, I wanted to include a video to “dress up” this post a bit more. Hope it works!

  15. Very pretty card…I’ve noticed in your videos when you use a wood mounted stamp you just easily stamp away and your images are perfectly lines up! What is your amazing trick!

  18. Paulina, I LOVE how you used this set of little flowers to create such an amazing card. I’m super tempted to get those stamps out and follow the design for at least one (or two or three!) for cards on my to-do list for the summer. Watching your video earlier today led me to the blog hop, which then led to my commenting on all those wonderful blogs, which distracted me away from the other stuff I was “supposed” to be doing. Hee hee. Sure was fun!

  30. I feel your pain & frustration with your 1st card, sometimes thing just don’t turn out how you picture them … but if you leave it for a bit, you are sure to transform it into something you will be happy with, happier than if it had worked right the 1st time :)
