June Product Release Blog Hop- Day 1

Hi, there! It’s Marge today and I’m sharing a shaker card featuring some of our new June 2018 Release for the blog hop.

To begin my card, I stamped the Koala Friends Stamp Set on a copic friendly paper and colored them using copic makers, then I cut them all using Koala Friends Coordinating Dies.

Copic Markers Used:

Leaves : BG09-G29-G07-YG03-YG01

I prepared two pieces of A2 sized Bristol Paper, and ink blended them using Distress Oxide Inks: Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, Cracked Pistachio, Bundled Sage, and Evergreen Bough.  I added splatters of water and wiped out excess water using dry tissue. These two pieces will be used for front and background panel for shaker.

To make a shaker window, I diecut one of the inked panel using Mini Storybook 1 Dies, and simply cut out the inside bars to make a large rectangle window.  I found that the cut out square from Mini Storybook 1 Dies perfectly matches with the Hello Shaker Die in size. (You could just use Hello Shaker Die only to make a window.)  I adhered a piece of acetate film behind the window panel. I cut Hello Shaker DIe out of 110 Neenah White paper three times  then glued them top on top to make a dimensional frame. Then I put the frame onto rectangle window I had created previously.

I heat embossed a sentiment from Everyday Greetings on black cardstock in white, then I cut it using Stitched Pieces Die. I rounded natural twine 3-4 times beneath the window, fixed it with adhesive, and then foam mounted the sentiment label onto it. Next I turned the panel upside down to fill the shaker.

I adhered foam tapes around the window at the back side of the panel, then I filled the shaker with lots of sequins and seed beads including Aquamarine, Blush, Cotton Candy, and Pewter which are part of brand new seed beads from Pretty Pink Posh. In addition, I put 4mm Lime Sorbet, 6mm Lime Sorbet, 6mm Peridot Mist, 4mm Peacock Feathers, 6mm Peacock Feathers, 4mm Champagne, 6mm Champagne, 4mm Lemon Meringue, 6mm Lemon Meringue, 3mm Sparkling Clear, and Iridescent Mini Circle Confetti.

Look at the beautiful mixture of sequins and seed beads just before I covered the shaker. I really love how they look together. Above all, I would strongly recommend to mix Pewter seed beads to your shaker since the neutral gray color of them balances the colors in the shaker beautifully. Finally, I covered the shaker with another inked panel then I adhered the shaker onto white card base.

I then adhered Koala images around the shaker and label as shown in the picture. As a final embellishment, I added Buttercream Jewels and Spring Green Jewels.

Puppy Shaker Cards + Video

Hi everyone, Rina here today. I have three PUPPY shaker cards using the Playful Puppies, Happy Mail and Simple Sayings: Life stamp sets.

I am a huge dog lover and have three beagles of my own.  I did some simple copic coloring today and my goal was to color the images like my beagles.  After I colored the images, I cut them with the coordinating dies.

The card front was created by ink blending distress oxide inks about ¾ of the way down, leaving the top white for contrast.  I used Picked Raspberry , Cracked Pistachio, and Fossilized Amber.  I finished off the blending with a microfiber towel, then used a Distress Sprayer to create splotches for added depth.  I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors to create black paint splatters.  Wait for your card front to dry before die cutting the shaker frame.

I used post it notes to hold the dies in place on the shaker fronts and then adhered acetate.  I used one layer of foam tape to create the shaker well and filled the shaker well with my favorite shaker bits from Pretty Pink Posh:

After filling the shaker well, remove the backers on the foam tape and adhere a card front. Make sure to press down firmly so no shaker bits escape!

I stamped out sentiments from Happy Mail and Playful Puppies in Versafine.  I used the Hugs Shaker die cut in white and adhered it to the acetate frame with glossy accents.

I had the inside pieces of the Window Frames die and Stitched Stars left over.  I thought it would be cute to stamp “You make life fun” from the Simple Sayings: Life stamp set and use the die cut to decorate the inside of the card.  I used a little red heart to embellish the remaining card.

I adhered the completed card front to the card bases and finished the card off by adding Sparkling Clear Confetti to the front of the card.

One Stamp Set // Three Cards + Video

Hello everyone, Eloise here and for today’s video I’ll be sharing another 3 Cards 1 Stamp set video, using the brand new School Friends stamp set. This set was perfect because it had a ton of images and also included 3 sentiments. I also tried to keep these cards quite simple, so I just used three small die sets; Scallop Frames, Stitched Duo 1 and Stitched Film Strip and then I also just pulled in a few colours of Distress Inks to make my backgrounds as well.

To begin my cards today, I first started off with stamping, colouring and die cutting all my images. I stamped pretty much two of everything and used a colour combo I found on Pinterest for my colour inspiration. Once they were all coloured and die cut, I could assemble my cards together.

For my first card today, I die cut two of the Stitched Film Strip from some white cardstock. Then I added foam tape to the backs and set them off to the side. For my background, I used Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio and ink blended a gradient onto some watercolour cardstock. I then flicked some water onto my background, picked it up with a paper towel and dried it off with a heat tool.

Next, I arranged all my images onto the base, figured out where I wanted the sentiment and stamped the ‘Hey There Smarty Pants’ into one of the gaps with black ink. I then adhered down my frames over top and adhered the images inside with foam tape as well and that finished off my first card.

For my second card, I pulled out the Scallop Frames and cut them twice out of some white cardstock. I then adhered some foam tape onto the backs of the frames. For my background I again went for a simple ink blended look. This time I used Lucky Clover, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron and repeated the same steps as before. I dried it off with a heat tool and adhered my frames at an angle into place.

I then took out a few images and arranged them into place as well. I adhered them down with flat adhesive. For my sentiment I used the ‘You’re An A+ In My Book’ sentiment with more black ink onto the background as well and that finished up my second card.

For my final card, I wanted to make a mini card; something that would be perfect to put into your kids lunchbox with a little note for their day, or what have you. So I took the Stitched Duo 1 and cut out two tag shapes; one from watercolour cardstock and one from plain white cardstock. I ink blended some Carved Pumpkin and Spiced Marmalade ink onto the bottom of the watercolour tag and then ran it through my Big Shot Machine with the geometric embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers. I then took the second tag, and scored the top edge with my scoring tool. I added adhesive onto the flap and adhered it to my coloured tag and that created my mini card base.

To finish up, I adhered down the remaining images with some foam tape onto the bottom and then for the sentiment, I white heat embossed the ‘Just A Note’ sentiment onto some black cardstock. I cut it down to a strip and adhered it on the right hand side of my card and that finished off the last card.

Tutorial: Creating A Multi Embossed Card + Video

Hi Crafters, Justine here and I’m back with you for another video tutorial this month! I hope you are loving the new release as much as I am! Today I wanted to create an elegant, yet easy card tutorial. You can use stamps and dies from this release or any of the fabulous Pretty Pink Posh stamps in your stash to try this out.

I started off by die cutting the Hello Shaker Die out in white cardstock. I grabbed some Himalayan Musk Embossing Powder by Wow and embossed the die cut three times. This creates a very thick, almost chipboard like embellishment. It’s a favourite technique of mine because you get a really smooth impression on the embossing powder.

I then stamped out a background using the Geraniums stamp set in black on a white card panel. To fill in the gaps, I used a little image from the School Friends set– it was the perfect filler stamp!

I glued the die cut to another die cut (off-center) in black cardstock to make it pop off the card. You could also challenge yourself to a more complex card by turning this die into a shaker card! If you enjoyed my video, be sure to check out my personal channel for weekly videos.

Hello, Gemma here today to share a card featuring the adorable new Koala Friends set. On this card, I’ve teamed this new release set with some previously released PPP products.

I began by die cutting the Storybook 1 die from white card. I adhered the frame onto a kraft card base. On the frame pieces, I added a blend of distress oxide inks in the colours Squeezed Lemonade,  Wild Honey, and Candied Apple. I love the warm sunset look this gives to the card.


Next, I stamped the image of the koala and baby in the tree from the Koala Friends stamp set, along with some leaves from the Wild Rose stamp set. I coloured the images with copic markers, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

I found the perfect sentiment for my card in the Encouraging Greetings set, stamping it with versafine onyx black ink onto one of the frame pieces. Then I added the koala and the leaves to the card, using foam tape to pop some of the images up for dimension.

To finish my card, I chose some of the gorgeous Metallic Rose Gold jewels, which look beautiful on the sunset background.

Sneak Peek: June Die Cuts + Free Gift

Hello, Gemma here sharing about the fabulous new release arriving on June 7th. I paired the fun Love You Script with the Darling Dragonflies. This has to be one of my favourite sets and an absolute must have!

For my card today, I began by die cutting a stitched rectangle from light blue card, using the Stitched Notes die set. I stamped the reed images in a light blue ink at the bottom of the panel. I then added a slight blend of the same colour to add some constrast to the panel, before adhering it to a white card base.

I die cut the new Love You Script die from blue glitter paper, adding it to the panel in the center.

Next, I stamped some dragonflies, then coloured them with copic markers. I die cut the, with the Darling Dragonflies coordinating dies, and added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the wings. I then adhered them to the card with foam tape for the larger ones, and the smaller one with liquid glue.

Lastly, here’s a look at the free gift that will be available once the new release goes live. These are while supplies last.

Sneak Peek: Geraniums

Hi crafty friend, Crystal here today sharing a sneak peeks of the June Release! I have the honor of creating with the stamp set called Geraniums. You will absolutely fall in love with this newest floral stamp set from PPP.

For today’s post I have created a sweet and delicate floral card that is perfect for any occasion.

To make this card, I stamped and heat embossed the Geraniums and leaves with gold embossing powder. I did not mask any of it, just stamped the flowers in a round pattern.

Next, I colored each petal of the Geraniums with Copic numbers. I used RV17 for my darkest shade and RV10 for my lightest shade. The leaves were colored with YG13 (lightest) and YG17 darkest shade. You will notice, I am only using two markers, for that medium shade I do a “kissing” technique where the lightest marker tip kisses the darkest. Then feathering up from the dark to light on the actual petal or leaf.

Once my Geranium was colored, I moved on to shade the edges of the entire floral bundle. Using Distress Ink in Antique Linen, I blended starting at the edge of the petal and moving down careful not to color the interior of the petal.

Then with Gansai Tambi Starry Colors, I flickered yellow gold watercolor over the entire card panel.

Now onto that gorgeous sentiment! For this I used the Lovely Script die released in May! Ran that die through my gemini on a piece of gold foil cardstock. I then trimmed tiny pieces of foam adhesive and added those to the die.

To finish, I added a variety of Metallic Gold Confetti Mix to card.

Sneak Peek: Koala Friends

Hello everyone, Joni here sharing a sneak for the new upcoming June 2018 release. The cute Koala Friends stamp set and Koala Friends die set are a must have.

To begin my card I first stamped and die-cut my pieces. Then colored them with Copic Markers.

Next, I distressed my card panel with Distress Oxide and then splattered them with water. I also used the stitched scallop from Stitched Borders 2.

Then, I also stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set Koala Friends using Platinum embossing powder after distressing a white piece of cardstock. Then, I die-cut the piece with Stitched Borders 1.

To finish the card I adhered everything with foam tape for added interest. I then finish the card by added Ivory Jewels.

For my second card, I used the new Hello Shaker die to coordinate with the Koala Friends.

To start my second card, I distressed a white cardstock also using Distress Oxide inks and splattered with water.

Then, I die-cut the Hello Shaker 3 times and adhere with glue on top of the other for a thick look.

I also added the strip of black and white strip of paper and I also added some Ivory Jewels to finish off the card.

Sneak Peek: School Friends

Hello everyone! Alix here as a guest designer sharing products from Pretty Pink Posh upcoming June release. I have been a Pretty Pink Posh super fan for quite a while and I am so honored to start this exciting moment with you.

To begin with my card, I first stamped the images from School Friends stamp set on a piece of cardstock paper and cut them with School Friends coordinating dies. Then I colored them with my trusty copic markers and set aside.

I wanted the have the main focus on my shaker window, so I decided to keep the card base almost pure white. For inked background, I ink blended background using distress ink oxide in Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral and Candied Apple, then I stamped sentiment that comes with this stamp set with some Watermelon Jewels to embellish.

To create the shaker window, I cut the frame for 5 times using the Scallop Ovals, then I glued 4 of them together sandwiched with a piece of acetate paper and the last frame die cut. Before I closed up the top, I poured some Iridescent Mini Star Confetti and 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins. When its ready, I attached the window onto a A2 base card front.

I arranged all colored images around the window using glue and double sided foam squares to create some dimensions. At last, I scattered 4mm Sparkling clear sequins and 6mm Sparkling clear sequins onto the bottom of this card.

When you are holding a cute and lovely stamp set, there is no way that you could only make one card. So this second card idea came up very quickly. The scene I wanted to create is that a nerdy boy who likes to bury himself in a library with tons of book. A shy girl who had crush on him expressed her feeling with full courage.

I started to ink blended distress oxide in Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio onto a piece of watercolor paper. I sprayed water over inked background and removed all wet spots with a piece of paper towel. When it dried, I splattered a mixture with ink and water over upper portion of background to add some interest.

While I was waiting for background to dry completely, I cut my white frame using the Scallop Frames and I popped them up using double sided foam squares to create dimension. I did my pick and choose for the best images to create my ideal scene and colored them with copic markers. Then I arranged them inside of the frame I created.

I stamped sentiment that comes with this School Friends Stamp set  with very black dye ink since my background is in slightly darker color. I also stamped mini hearts around them and added 1/4″ Iridescent star confetti to create lobe sparkles between them.
