Christmas Theme Week- Day 1
Hello, Gemma here today with a card featuring the new Poinsettia Corners and Christmas Candles stamp sets from the October release. I think these sets work so well together. I stamped images from both sets and coloured them with copic markers.
Be sure to stop by the Christmas section at the Pretty Pink Posh store for 15% off products in that category this week!
Copic marker colours:
Poinsettia petals: R20, R22, R24, R27, R46
Flower centres: Y35, Y38
Poinsettia leaves: G14, G17; YG99
Holly leaves: G14, G07, G28
Lantern: YR23, YR24, E74
Candle: E51, E53, E55
Flame: YR14, YR16
Candle glow: Y00, Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out, then started working on the arrangement.
On an A2 panel of white card, I cut a circle window from the centre, large enough for the Christmas Candles image to sit. I adhered a piece of grey patterned paper to my card base, then added the A2 panel on top.
To keep the sentiment simple and the focus on the images, I used my stamping tool to curve a simple sentiment around the edge of the circle. This sentiment is from the previously released Angel Friends stamp set.
All of the images have extra die cut layers behind for dimension. For extra embellishment, I added some Cherry Red pearls for the berries and Nuvo Glitter Accents in Aztec Gold to the centre of the flowers.
Thank you for stopping by. Be sure to visit us tomorrow for another day of Christmas inspiration!
Gorgeous…I just adore the corner flowers!
