Halloween Theme Week: Day 5

Hi friends! Sophie here today to share a fun project celebrating Halloween theme week! Stay tuned to the end to see a bonus project, too.

I am featuring the Halloween Corners stamps and coordinating dies for my projects today. This is a set that I’ve wanted to use for a while and I was excited to be able to feature it! Instead of making a card project, I opted to show how this set would be perfect to make little gift packages. I pulled out one of my favorites – the Gift Card Bag die set to make a little kraft colored gift bag. This is perfect for a little Halloween treat for a teacher, neighbor, friend, etc! I plan to put a little coffee gift card inside for a teacher this year.

For the bag I kept it pretty simple, but wanted to add some interest. I used white pigment ink and the Clouds Stencil for the background and did this before assembling the bag to make it easier to stencil. I also added some tissue paper inside the bag and some ribbon to finish the whole thing off! I love how the Halloween Corners set fits perfectly on the bag. There are a few different “corners” sets available in the shop, like Autumn flowers and Poinsettias for Christmas so you could swap those in here for other ideas, too!

As a little bonus card I also made this one featuring the Ghost Holder die combined with one of the sentiments from the Halloween Corners set. Actually, the Halloween Corners set has some pretty great sentiments and I think it’s worth it alone just for those, let alone the cute images too!
I hope you leave feeling inspired. I’d love to know, do you craft for Halloween? It’s one of my favorites to create for! I’m all about the cute, not so spooky vibe.
Until next time, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Super cute card! I would love to know where you got the white ribbon you used on the bag, please?
