Day 4: Christmas Theme Week + Daily Giveaways

Hi crafty friends! Sophie here and I am thrilled to be here celebrating Christmas Theme week with you all! Today I am sharing a pair of fun cards featuring the Winter Mug die set and the Holiday Mug Additions die set.

For my first card I wanted to feature a somewhat non-traditional Christmas color palette with pinks, reds, and greens. I love pinks for holiday projects! I featured the additions that make the mug into a little Santa Claus with the belt and buckle. Such a whimsical set, PPP always knocks it out of the park with creativity. For the background, I used the Falling Snowflakes Stencil, an oldie but a goodie. The Eyelet Rectangles set is one of my most used staples.

For my second card I wanted to make a little reindeer mug. I used some of the greenery as decorations to frame the mug and I used the Large Merry Shadow for a sentiment out of red with some vellum as the shadow layer. For the background I die cut a bunch of the snowflakes from the Winter Mug set and just scattered them around the card for a simple but sparkly effect.

For today’s giveaway, we are giving away a $25 Simon Says Stamp gift card! All you have to do is leave a comment sharing your favorite holiday tradition.

All giveaways for Christmas Theme Week will end on December 10th. We’ll share a post with all the winners on the PPP blog later that week.
I hope you enjoyed these cards! Have you finished your Holiday cards yet? I would love to know below! I’ll be back soon with more inspiration!

It’s hard to choose. I love baking cookies. I love wrapping gifts. I love the house once it’s decorated but I don’t always enjoy the process of decorating. I guess I would say giving gifts is my favorite.
Great cards, Sophie!
My favorite holiday tradition is walking through fields of trees to find the perfect Christmas tree. The smell of the firs just says Christmas to me. A cup of hot cocoa after cutting down our tree is the perfect ending.
I enjoy putting the Christmas tree up with my family!
These mugs are DARLING! I LOVE the reindeer one!!! My favorite tradition is reading the Polar Express every year on Christmas Eve with my family
I love decorating the tree with my family as we listen to carols.
I just love to get together with family! These days everyone is just soo busy, so it is nice to get together!
One of my favorite traditions is going to a nearby small town that decorates the entire downtown area with beautiful lights.
My family wears the same pajamas Christmas morning! Then, after we open presents, we eat tamales for lunch!
Reading the Christmas story in our new Pjs on Christmas Eve.
Driving around looking at Christmas lights.
We always go out to a local Japanese restaurant for hibachi every Christmas day. We love it!
I love the pink Santa (or is it Mrs. Claus?) themed mug. Very cute!
My favourite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree. While I often change the colour scheme of the tree (I have five options!) I have a set of ornaments that I put up every year on the tree, no matter the colour theme!
My favorite holiday tradition is finding a neighborhood showing cool light displays.
Love the mug designs!
My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies and decorating the christmas tree. So fun!
Driving around to see decorations with our daughter and grandkids is my favorite. There are some really special houses.
My favorite Christmas tradition is gathering with family to spend time together eating, playing games and laughing.
Adorable mug cards. Love the one with the big gold buckle on front and the small joy tag. Thank you for the cute inspiration! My favorite holiday tradition is baking sweet treats for our neighbors (with a homemade card none the less) and delivering them to spread Christmas cheer!
My favorite tradition is baking cookies with my kids.
Love these fun mug cards!
My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies to share with friends and neighbors! I usually make about 4 or 5 kinds of cookies, and package them up to deliver right before Christmas Day!
My favorite holiday tradition is cooking Christmas dinner with my mom. We may fuss and fight but in that moment we come together with christmas music in the background and a mess in the kitchen lol. You never know how long you have so you have to cherish every moment.
Growing up we always opened presents on Christmas Eve. The stockings were left for Christmas morning. Those quiet evenings always felt so cozy and magical with my small family, snacks and warm drinks close by and Christmas music playing softly in the background. On Christmas Day extended family and friends would come over. There was always lots of great food, fun and a bit of chaos but I always loved the quiet magic of Christmas Eve.
The reindeer mug is adorable! My favorite holiday tradition is attending the candlelight service at our church on Christmas Eve. A great time to reflect on the true reason for the season.
I love making Christmas cards! I’ve been doing it for a long time and love how much joy people get from receiving a card in the mail!
My fav holiday tradition is spending a Saturday putting up decorations. Filled with ladder struggles, getting mud everywhere (because of course it rained the night before), and all the profanities while untangling lights. Because once the sun goes down it looks ethereal and sparkly!
Adorable cards here. Yes, I finished my holiday cards.
One of my favorite activities is driving around and looking at Christmas decorations. We did it when I was a kid, did with our kids and now that they are adults, do it just the two of us. I’m still making Christmas cards–I usually have them done by Thanksgiving, but this year got behind. I traveled to visit family in October, ended up with Covid which set off my asthma. Hard to craft with all the coughing, sneezing and wheezing. But my plan is to be finished by next week. I make 65.
My favorite holiday tradition making and sending Christmas cards
What sweet cards Sophie!! I love the mugs. I have a slight thing for tea so this is right up my alley. My fav tradition is watching A Muppet Christmas Carol with my partner in the few days leading up to Xmas.
My favorite tradition is when our kids and grandkids all get together over New Year’s. Lots of eating and playing games. We have a good time laughing and catching up.
Cute mugs. No I have not finished my cards yet.
What cute cards. I love to bow tie on the reindeer. I love anything where my family can be with each other to show love and support. That is during December and November .
Your cards are so nice and whoever receives them is lucky. I’d love to have these. So pretty to look at. Fun Christmas tradition is getting in the car with family and going to look at lights and finding our favorites and rating our winners.
These are adorable mugs. Our favourite family tradition is the big extended family Christmas day gathering which we celebrate every year!
These are so sweet. Actually they are right up my alley as far as favorites go–I love watching Christmas movies and sipping hot chocolate, with whipped cream of course!
The cards are so adorable! I love decorating my house and visiting my family.
The mug is adorable! Finding too many of my cards aren’t flat enough for 1 stamp, so I’ll have to make some more that are!
On Christmas Eve we do a big cookie decorating event that (as the grands get older) is slowly becoming quite a competition and a lot of fun.
We put the tree up early …just lights and no ornaments. Decorate it after Thanksgiving and enjoy Christmas movies almost daily. I’ve also started making my own cards and tags. So much fun!
Wonderful projects!!!
My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies with my family. We make the same recipes every year and the house always smells amazing!
I love both cards!!! The first one is so cute in pink!!
What sweet mug cards! Decorating the tree on thanksgiving is my favorite tradition!
Favorite holiday tradition is spending time with family. Especially now that my brother and I both have grandkids. Their sweet little faces light up at the magic of Christmas.

I love this time of year for baking! It’s cookie season!
We love wrapping presents for the kiddos and love seeing their excited faces when opening them! :)
I love to travel for the holidays.
Cute Mugs. My favorite tradition is getting together with my family to have a cookie and candy making day at mom’s. We order pizza and make all kinds of yummy treats. Even the little ones have things they can help with.
