Candy Cane Heart

Hi friends! Sophie here today and I am just thrilled to share a fun and simple Christmas card featuring new products from the holiday release. 

I started out by cutting a panel of pistachio colored cardstock for my background. I used the new Argyle Pierced Cover Plate to add some subtle interest. I *love* the cover plates from Pretty Pink Posh and use them frequently. They add such fun texture and dimension and I feel that most of the designs are so universal they can be used all year around!

For my candy canes I used the new Candy Cane Shaker dies cut from pale pink and red cardstock. The pale pink paper I used is almost white but in person it gives it a fun little bit of personality instead of traditional white. 

For the sentiment I used the new Merry Shadow dies and used sorbet and white glitter cardstock. For the sentiment, I used the new Christmas Banner Greetings Stamps and Banner Greetings 1 Dies. I cannot get over these new banner sentiments I love them so much! I hope there are more in the future for different occasions.

I finished the card off with a little grouping of mistletoe greenery from the Christmas Bell shaker die set and I felt that the card didn’t need any more embellishments – which knowing myself and my love for sequins is shocking LOL!
